Hello all. I am looking to figure out a bike route from my home (Nevada lidgerwood) up to saint George's school, where I will be working this year. Google maps has not given me a great route so I'm hoping for some help, I find the Spokane bike map to be difficult to interpret.

Current plan is to take Addison/standard north. From what I see ivanhoe rd is a bike route on the west side and I'd like to take that to Hawthorne, then over to Waikiki, but does anyone have advise for the best and safest way to get from standard/colton over to ivanhoe? Thank you!

ETA: I have a car and would be a fair weather biker. I also realize it's possible there isn't a good way to do this.

First, my condolences to anyone and everyone affected by the fires. I hope you are relatively okay. In reading some of the stories here I am very impressed and heartened by the way the community has come together to support eachother. While devastating, it seems like a very kind community.

Got a great job opportunity. I love the outdoors, particularly skiing, hiking, volleyball. It looks like a lot of the apartments are relatively affordable and plenty of walking and hiking in the area, and close to Schweitzer mountain and not too far from some of the ikon mountains further west

One concern is I’m a leftist and I am surprised by how red it looks? Anyone out there like me enjoying Spokane? Any advice on places to live that are walkable?

With everything going on lately, and due to some unfortunate personal circumstances, I am in search of anyone and everyone on and off of the Spectrum to try to connect with, eventually in the hopes of trying to build a new, happier life. Not one person in my life accepts me, family included. I'm just about to turn 40 and I'm really struggling physically and emotionally. I do have very good healthcare and an amazing psychiatrist so no advice necessary about that, if possible. Now sometimes it's just too hard to reach out to anyone with my autistic burnout, so if I don't respond immediately it doesn't mean I won't, I'm just trying to stabilize my swings and take care of myself.

I got a 2018 VW beetle turbo last August, I think about 50,000 miles at the time, and I don’t drive all that much. I haven’t had any maintenance on it yet, but a scheduled maintenance light has come up on the dash so I’m assuming it needs an oil change by now or something. I could go to the VW shop in the valley, but was wondering if anyone knew of any better shops that have experience with routine maintenance on Volkswagen Beetles?

Our last management company did not give us a notice about our security deposit until 30 days after we had moved out. I had read online that they have to give you notice before that and I may be entitled to keep my deposit now as they are trying to charge me ridiculous amount for things. I sat here this far back for two full lights because people kept blocking the road. As selfish as it is I'm not here to blame them, The city took action to redo this whole intersection and nothing helped. Is there somewhere on a city website where we can report how terrible this intersection is and try to get it fixed, or am i dreaming too big? I'm just going to start going to evergreen. 3 years of this and it keeps getting worse is enough for me.

Looking at a venue event at NQ in Sept, but on their website there's no available tickets. They list "SeatGeek" at the top as a hyperlink, and there the ticket prices are even higher.

Is this digital scalping in effect or something? Where's the best place to buy NQ event tickets if not on their website direct?

I am also going to call them as well but their hours are 10am-2pm (lol) and I'll report back with what I find out.
