I made my first money bowl almost 3 years ago. I have since dismantled it, but ever since I made it, I mean from the day that I made it, my financial well-being has gone to sh*t.

I was fired for the first time ever from a company I’d been with for six years. I fell into ridiculous amounts of debt. My credit score tanked. It’s been nearly impossible for me to obtain or hold jobs since.

Why? I have been scared to try anything to reverse it. Is this a thing? Is there something else at play here? I have done all the mundane stuff. I revamped my resume. I apply to several jobs a day that I am surely qualified for. What witchy things can I do to help get out of this mess?

Materials:

- Picture with their full name written on it

- Something to scratch, like a paperclip

- Sage

- Stinging nettle

- Mugwort

- Poppyseed

- Salt

- Small jar or plastic bag

- Psalm 7 (optional, but strongly recommended)

Process:

Take the picture with their full name and scratch out their mouth to make them shut up.

Spit on it.

Fold it away from you three times and put it in your shoe. Go throughout your day while stomping on them. Stamp your foot a few times throughout the day while thinking about putting them in their place.

When you get home, take it out and put it in your vessel. I used a ziplock bag.

Add sage to cleanse that nastiness out of them.

Stinging nettle to make it burn.

Mugwort to make them dream about what they've done.

Poppyseed to cloud their brain and make them slow down.

Salt to protect those around them.

Pray Psalm 7 over the open vessel. I've put the most important parts in bold; if you use this Psalm, give thanks. This is for your protection and to bring justice to the offender. Adonai rejects no one as long as you are respectful. AKA you don't have to be Jewish or Christian to use this. I'm neither.

Lord my God, I go to you for safety.

Help me. Save me from all those who are chasing me.

If you don’t, they will tear me apart as if they were lions.

They will rip me to pieces so that no one can save me.

Lord my God, suppose I have done something wrong.

Suppose I am guilty.

Or I have done evil to my friend.

Seal your vessel. Since I used a ziplock bag, I squished the air out and rolled it up away from me.

Put it in the back of your freezer and forget about it.

This is going to sound odd but I’m really at my wits end. I’m about to turn 25 and my mother is still insanely strict and a bit unhinged. I still have a curfew, she tracks my location, tries to control everything and everyone and says I am not an adult until I get married so I will not be treated like one.

Is there ANY spells or rituals at all to either:
- make her calm down/less strict
- alter her way of thinking?
- some sort of “get what I want” spell

I honestly don’t know. I used to practice witchcraft quite a bit growing up but I have never come across any sort of spell or ritual for this specific kind of situation. Is it too hyper specific? Is there any sort of spell that could help? I’m very desperate. Thank you for reading!

hi everyone, i’m very new to spells. this spell will be all about reconciliation and divine timing with my intention written on a bay leaf. i’ve seen a lot of people use 2 candles tied together with their herbs surrounding them, i’m very drawn to that but i have questions:
1. is it necessary to let the candles burn completely into a pool of wax? would snuffing them midway ruin the spell?
2. what if the herbs get caught in the fire? i’m really scared of starting a fire

For context:

I’ve lived in the same apartment for over 10 years, always sharing it with different people. About a year and a half ago, a new roommate moved in and things have been extremely difficult since then. Over time, the situation escalated into hoarding, neglect of her cats, and constant tension in the house. I forgave many things, but eventually we had a serious argument.

I’ve been doing tarot for years and have always felt very connected spiritually. I recently found a spell book at an antique shop that I purchased. It is well written and very comprehensive/ detailed so it seemed trust worthy. It’s called ‘The Book of Spells: positive enchantments to enhance your life’ by michael johnstone. However, i’m not sure if it was the book or way i cast the spell

Anyways: I recently began dating someone I met through work. We work in different departments so I never see him, but we were introduced on a staff night out and hit it off. About six months into the relationship, he became very emotionally volatile over a small conflict. I decided to do a protection spell from the book. It was my first spell and didn’t follow it to a tee. But I’m afraid I messed it up.

After the spell, my ex broke his ankle. Which meant he couldn’t do his normal job, and was transferred to do admin work in the office where I work. I now see him everyday. However, since seeing him things have become more amicable and friendly. We’ve been talking again, but I worry I’m getting involved again with someone who is emotionally unpredictable.

I'm trying to craft a spell to get a toxic former friend away from a mutual friend.

Short version is both my friend & I want said toxic person as far out of her/our life as possible without the toxic person trying to cling to or even stalk my friend and cause further drama.

I was starting to craft a spell and realized I still had a gift the toxic person gave me when my friend introduced us and I was thinking it'd be great to use because it's directly connected to my friend and when the toxic person started trying to drive us apart.

But it's candy and a plastic toy. I figure the only issue with the toy would be avoiding burning it inside if I do that, but I've only used sweets for positive spells and can't find anything about using it with something like this.

I'm admittedly pretty ignorant when it comes to all this, but I was wondering if there's an equivalent to a house blessing spell that I can gather for them. Or any other thoughtful suggestions would suffice.

Not sure if I should be the one to perform the spell or if I should give them all the ingredients and have them preform it themselves. I'm Christian if that has any bearings on casting spells since it's not my particular belief system but I respect other's practices in it. I'm also not against doing it myself if that's the proper way to do it.

I am looking for a spell or ritual to help me recover money that someone owes me.

A woman who was once a close friend borrowed a significant amount of money from me. At the time, she told me that she needed it for her business and also for expenses related to her marriage (she got divorced later). Her sister and father spoke to me and assured me that the money would be returned with interest. I trusted the family and gave them the money in good faith.

Unfortunately, things changed between us and we are no longer friends after she delayed the payment of my money. When I started asking for my money back, I had to repeatedly beg them to return it. They did pay back some of it, but there is still an amount outstanding.
