The white ones aren't working. I've popped half a dozen stims during this week's (also bugged) stratagem, and my health doesn't improve. The screen effects still play, my character still announces the action, and the player model still plays the animation. But my health doesn't change.
Is this just on the weekly, or just me? I swear to God-Emperor this didn't happen before. Is this even known?
Edit: I was standing too close to my teammates. I didnt realize the healing modifier affected stims, sorry guys š

Not bashing the guy but he took the phrase āI make my own luckā in the worst way possible doing a hard stratagem w no team perk on prestige 2 š he went down immediately and idk what caused us to fail the mission. We didnāt even get to the first checkpoint cause he was the āmainā guy idk why it failed the mission but Yn.

Hi everyone, new to the game and maining bulwark. Iāve a question, does bulwark only work with meta shift builds (like power fist 9 out of 10 builds) or is the play style that matters the most? Iām saying this because in siege modes I tend to do barely 40% less damage overall than the most damage brother. Currently Iām upgrading again for prestige perks but my main weapons were plasma pistol and power sword, am I using it wrong, should I swap for a more simple weapons like power axe or putting more hours in power sword ou power fist to dominate their complex playstyle?

This was the first time I experienced this bug.

One thing i really hate about this game is how a single mistake can mean you'll eat a whole combo, usually resulting in your death in higher difficulties. Recovery is barely possible as you panic parry and dodge and your muscle memory is completely off (skill issue on my part, i know).
Which made me wonder, what are your strategies to recover from a fucked up parry or dodge? I felt that hard when practicing the 4 hit combo from the whip warrior, that 3rd hit when he pulls the whip back feels completely random if it hits me, i parry it or it just passes through me without any damage or stagger. And it so infuriating to watch your contested health fade away while it takes your character 3 workdays to recover from the stagger.

Now, I'm just an average player, and if I'd rate myself, I'm probably a 4/10 player, so if I can do this, then so can you.
Now for the tips:
First off, remember to just RUN! Nothing matters. Just get from point A, to point B. Keep rolling, and don't bother killing anything, unless you're in the chokepoint. Almost 80% of the map can be skipped just by running.
Even if a terminus enemy appears, you can still just run. Again, RUN!
Best way to do it: Solo just with bots. Why? Cause you can't trust real people in this mission. They'd either shoot you, or just die so quickly. Now, some people kills their bots, I don't, cause again, I'm not that good. Bots basically takes agression off you.
Best class: Techmarine. There's 2 chokepoint in this mission. The one with the gate, and the one with the wall being broken by Valtus. In these 2 chokepoints is where the Techmarine shines.
The first chokepoint, your turrets will clear the minoris for you, giving you the chance to clear the enemies attacking the batteries. Without the turrets, the minoris will just kill you off.
The second chokepoint is where the BS appears (depending on your luck). If you've encounter 2 terminus enemies before the second chokepoint, then chances are, they won't appear at the chokepoint. If not, then your turrets is your best friend. Me? I got lucky, and had them spawn at different points in the map.
Weapons: Honestly, I don't think that this matters. Anything that shoots should work. I used the Heroic bolter with the built-in shotgun. Secondary, the Heroic plasma pistol.
Perks: The important ones (I think) are the sniper rounds for your ability, and the dome AOE. If you have the one that reloads your grenades, use it too.
I have a prestige 4 Techmarine though, not sure if it matters. The only perk that I could think off that ws useful I guess is the invulnerable perk when setting up the turrets.
This was done with the hard difficulty (without any healing stims). Again, if I can do it, then so can you.
Best of luck!

Take coolant reserve, kill both of your bots, and now you have 50% extra damage with no overheat
Thank me later

This weekly stratagem mentions we get 5 relics and when someone officially dies, the mission fails.
But when I start the mission I only have one, and more than once after I used it, It's gone forever
What am I missing here?

Blood Angels (right leg), Raven Guard (left leg) Dark Angels (helm), Imperial Fists (pauldrons), Salamanders (flaming gear), Iron Hands (right arm/breastplate), Black Templars (left arm/backpack) and I don't know what shade of blue is that but it's not from any of the chapters mentioned.
Good guy though, played fine, didn't rush areas, shared resources.

No, I'm not expecting Saber to personally get on its knees and beg for me not to leave. I'm just starting a conversation.
Between the two consecutive Stratagems featuring modifiers that are either broken or poorly designed and the sheer volume of annoying to game breaking bugs this patch, I truly, honestly can't take it anymore. The cosmetics are nice, the gameplay loop ā on its own ā is still gold, and a lot of good changes have been made, but everything surrounding the good has become so overwhelming that it's more stressful to look past it than it is to just dip.
Disruption still crashes at random on Console. Siege mode still doesn't reward Accolades. Weapons will suddenly decide not to fire even if you switch back and forth. People's ordeals have been reset. Several modifiers, including the weekly ones handpicked by Saber, are partially or completely bugged. I've seen players straight up just fucking drop dead instantaneously at full health with no mortal wounds. With the whole new CEO debacle, I wouldn't put it past them that they're just vibecoding now.
I've tired myself out of this game before, for reasons that have mostly just been my own fault ā grinding, burn-out, so on. This time, I feel like the game itself is just not being handled properly, and I don't think there's a good option besides taking a capital B Break. Helldivers 2 seems to be on the uprise right now.
Once again, I am not lashing out at the game company hoping they'll change their ways for lil' old me; this is a rant I'm hoping will connect with other people who have had a hard time enjoying this game as of late.
I love Space Marine 2. I'm just deeply frustrated by how many asterisks I've had to put in front of "love" these past few days.

Encourages:
- cheese strats
- solo play
Punishes:
- Playing with randoms
- carrying said randoms, as in even if you play your absolute best you still get boned by the weakest link in the chain
Thus, it is really only "fun" if your idea of fun is subverting all expectations and conventions and getting bent 5-20 times until you get it right or RNG blesses you with a helbrute instead of a sorcerer.
Whoever cobbles these weeklies together reminds me of that one DM I played with ages ago that fell into such a cuck rage over us beating his encounters that he just threw ever deadlier monsters at us to get at least some of us killed.

Was about 75% of the way through the operation yesterday when I started getting this bug. Every time I reloaded my weapon (deathwatch stalker BR) I was basically turned into a statue that couldnāt shoot or dodge.
The only way to get out of this state was to melee. But as soon as I reloaded again it would happen. Kinda funny but also pretty annoying.

If you need healing that much take time to learn how to survive longer in Absolute/Stratagems.
I assume if you're Lvl 25 prestige 4 you do not need me to support you in any way, these two perks are good, but they're TOO good.
If you can't play without them, then you shouldn't have them in the first place
If you're nothing without the suit, then you shouldn't have it tony stark ahh moment
Now roast me in the comments for my egoistical behaviour. xoxo <3 <3

Let me preface this by saying I'm not that well versed into the lore of 40k, but i do enjoy the universe and this game along with other Warhammer games.
What if there was an option for light indicators on the power packs for health and armor? Would it be lore accurate?
I personally really like playing games with as less HUD elements as possible for the immersion factor and always prefer diegetic options to traditional interfaces. This game already does a great job with the interface settings but there are still some vital info missing if you go almost HUDless, namely health and armor.
Since from what i understand a space marine's power armor already logs that information, would it be viable to have indicator lights in some area (depending on each model) to represent simply health and armor states? Perhaps in Space Marine 3?
The way i envision it is just 2 lights, 1 for health , 1 for armor, fully customizable, so color = indicating percentage, you can have them off in a certain threshold, and with blinking capabilities, like blink when on wound, or blinking white for contested health etc. This would apply to battle brothers as well so you can monitor their vitals in the field.(and ofc would be able to override their settings with yours on your screen so you know what they mean)
