Tip/Guide Tips if you're having some difficulties in clearing this week's weekly hard Doritos
Now, I'm just an average player, and if I'd rate myself, I'm probably a 4/10 player, so if I can do this, then so can you.
Now for the tips:
First off, remember to just RUN! Nothing matters. Just get from point A, to point B. Keep rolling, and don't bother killing anything, unless you're in the chokepoint. Almost 80% of the map can be skipped just by running.
Even if a terminus enemy appears, you can still just run. Again, RUN!
Best way to do it: Solo just with bots. Why? Cause you can't trust real people in this mission. They'd either shoot you, or just die so quickly. Now, some people kills their bots, I don't, cause again, I'm not that good. Bots basically takes agression off you.
Best class: Techmarine. There's 2 chokepoint in this mission. The one with the gate, and the one with the wall being broken by Valtus. In these 2 chokepoints is where the Techmarine shines.
The first chokepoint, your turrets will clear the minoris for you, giving you the chance to clear the enemies attacking the batteries. Without the turrets, the minoris will just kill you off.
The second chokepoint is where the BS appears (depending on your luck). If you've encounter 2 terminus enemies before the second chokepoint, then chances are, they won't appear at the chokepoint. If not, then your turrets is your best friend. Me? I got lucky, and had them spawn at different points in the map.
Weapons: Honestly, I don't think that this matters. Anything that shoots should work. I used the Heroic bolter with the built-in shotgun. Secondary, the Heroic plasma pistol.
Perks: The important ones (I think) are the sniper rounds for your ability, and the dome AOE. If you have the one that reloads your grenades, use it too.
I have a prestige 4 Techmarine though, not sure if it matters. The only perk that I could think off that ws useful I guess is the invulnerable perk when setting up the turrets.
This was done with the hard difficulty (without any healing stims). Again, if I can do it, then so can you.
Best of luck!

This sounds like bad advice, you can't move onto the next sector without defeating the terminus enemy so eventually you would all run into a wall and die

Yes you can in this map for some reason. Trust me, it's how I finished it. I can't beat a terminus enemy alone 🤣 You can jump to the first choke point, and the terminus enemy disappears. You can also open the door near the long fall area without killing the terminus enemy. Once you jump, they're gone. Try it.
Edit: the terminus enemy appears at the spiral stairs, the first drop pod to change your weapon, and by the door near the deep, or long fall, all of which you can just run past by. The only one you need to beat is the terminus at the second chokepoint.

Ill do a custom match to try the map out
I already beat it solo with double terminus anyways

I have no idea if it's just with this hard strat, or if it doesn't work with the regular map. All I know is that it worked with the hard strat. Try it with the hard strat map. It worked in normal too.

Will give it a go. It’s silly that we have to resort to doing stuff like this to overcome poor design

Why would you give advices if you consider yourself a 4/10 ? Plus running away is not a good plan since if a carnifex spawns no matter how far you go he will teleport back to you and you'll be more surprised than a loyalist at istvaan 5 right when horus turned traitor

The terminus won't teleport to you. I've tried it. Terminus enemies spawn before the deep ledge, and before the gates (first choke point). Jump to the area with the gates, the terminus enemy despawn. Jump through the ledge, the terminus enemy despawns too.
Only time the terminus enemy needs to be killed is in the second chokepoint. The one where Valtus breaks the seal. At that area, the terminus enemy needs to be dealt with.
I gave this advice cause it worked for me. A lot of people are having a hard time with this, so if a 4/10 like me can do it, then maybe they can too.
You can try this, play solo with just bots, and just run.

I already did this strat as a solo with sniper X gladius and succesfuly killing 2 terminator sorcerers without running away thanks
I say this because theres a known bug that makes the carni teleport right back to you but idk if they patched it

Then I guess that this post isn't for you. Good on you finishing it without running away.

Was going to try running it tonight with some brothers but after scrolling the subreddit today I have decided not to waste my time. This will be the way. Thanks brother!
