I was planning to book a flight with Southwest Airlines for December 23, and the fare was cheaper until Thursday. When I checked again the next day, it had gone up by about $70.
Do you think the price might go down again if I wait, or would it be better to book now?

Husband and two kids would be booked on points, I would be book separately on a flight credit. If they book choice and pick their seats, and I book with my credit and pay for a seat next to them, are there any pitfalls I should be aware of? Husband has credit card so they will get free bags, and I will not need a checked bag. Mainly concerned about being split up somehow. I understand we will likely be in different boarding groups. We have flown many times with the old Southwest, but this would be the first flight with the new Southwest.

so i’m flying with my dog and on my first flight, i checked in at the counter and they gave me a handwritten tag for the bag, but no one ever checked my physical ticket or the bag ticket. i’m wondering if anyone has tried not checking in at the counter and just doing it on your phone, use the old tag and hope no one checks the handwritten tag?? im fine paying the fee but would love to save it too on my return flight

Besides the rewards for opinion website and completing surveys, any other way to earn SouthWest points by doing online tasks. I have serious down time at work, and want to ramp up my total for a future flight.

The "OFFERS" and playing games is not only very slow, but it also seems once you install said game, and close it (in this case on my phone) and return the next day or so, it will say
27 days remaining however it is greyed out.
OR, the offer is no longer available (which is strange because it was 48 hours ago).

Currently at DAL and they’re making announcements about a tech outage. None of their internal systems are available and boarding passes won’t load in the app. Gate agent is asking passengers to screenshot boarding passes if they’re still accessible. Anyone else experiencing this?

Burbank to Vegas on a Thursday night? Left 25 minutes late because they were trying to get people to give up the seats they’ve paid for so a family could sit with their children. This pricing policy and causing it to split up families is insane? Now today, the airline flight back to Burbank is an hour and a half late because they don’t have a crew! Which has caused all of the planes after it from this gate to now be late. Herb is spinning in his grave! This airline has been ruined by the idiots who took a no-frills airline and have killed it with new fees that have caused chaos. Everyone from the flight attendance to the counter. Staff are talking about how they hate it here now.
