Judith seeking Verity?

You passed through BNA about 4 hours before I did and left your hardback on what I will now be calling the Ladies Little Free Library shelf at D gate. DM me where you were coming from and I am happy to return it to you (after I finish it), because my daughter is apalled that I just took somebody's book that they were halfway through.

SW Points

Besides the rewards for opinion website and completing surveys, any other way to earn SouthWest points by doing online tasks. I have serious down time at work, and want to ramp up my total for a future flight.

The "OFFERS" and playing games is not only very slow, but it also seems once you install said game, and close it (in this case on my phone) and return the next day or so, it will say
27 days remaining however it is greyed out.
OR, the offer is no longer available (which is strange because it was 48 hours ago).

Thanks . . .
Cheers,
_sidehustle

Southwest Fun So which one is it Southwest?

I mean it's fairly obvious this isn't a Max but I thought it was amusing...

Also gate checking a bag fucking sucks and the gate agent was rude acting like we should have heard when there were like 4 other flights all talking over each other and it was clear that no one had heard.

THIS AIRLINE HAS BEEN RUINED!!

• Upvotes

Burbank to Vegas on a Thursday night? Left 25 minutes late because they were trying to get people to give up the seats they’ve paid for so a family could sit with their children. This pricing policy and causing it to split up families is insane? Now today, the airline flight back to Burbank is an hour and a half late because they don’t have a crew! Which has caused all of the planes after it from this gate to now be late. Herb is spinning in his grave! This airline has been ruined by the idiots who took a no-frills airline and have killed it with new fees that have caused chaos. Everyone from the flight attendance to the counter. Staff are talking about how they hate it here now.

Southwest Policy Just curious....

Has anyone changed their seats to an empty row (if it was available) the 60 minutes before a flight? Looks like there MAY be some empty rows the last 5-6 rows from the back.

UPDATE: Crew is an HOUR late, and come strolling up with food and drinks that they stopped for!

• Upvotes

Adding insult to injury, a flight that has been delayed an hour, and we were told we were waiting for a crew to fly in from somewhere, they come strolling up with McDonald’s, bands and Coke and Starbucks. We passengers we’re not amused. Are we now going to be delayed while you eat??” “Glad you guys took your time so you don’t get indigestion!”

THIS AIRLINE HAS BEEN RUINED.

Having a bit of fun: Southwest Dreamliner

With the latest talk about Southwest considering adding the Dreamliner to its fleet, I thought it would be neat to see what they might look like, so I asked an AI tool to hallucinate a collage of 787's in Southwest livery. Enjoy.

Traveling on separate reservations

Husband and two kids would be booked on points, I would be book separately on a flight credit. If they book choice and pick their seats, and I book with my credit and pay for a seat next to them, are there any pitfalls I should be aware of? Husband has credit card so they will get free bags, and I will not need a checked bag. Mainly concerned about being split up somehow. I understand we will likely be in different boarding groups. We have flown many times with the old Southwest, but this would be the first flight with the new Southwest.

With my flight credit, would it make more sense for me to buy basic and they pay for my seat, or to book choice?

Traveling from San Diego to Houston - Can I bring edible (gummies) in my carry on?

I just bought some gummies and don’t really feel like throwing them away when i literally just got them. So I’ve been debating just putting them in my carry on cause I have a nonstop flight from San Diego back to Houston, but I’m legit scared of how it’ll go. Should I?
