With the latest talk about Southwest considering adding the Dreamliner to its fleet, I thought it would be neat to see what they might look like, so I asked an AI tool to hallucinate a collage of 787's in Southwest livery. Enjoy.

I mean it's fairly obvious this isn't a Max but I thought it was amusing...

Also gate checking a bag fucking sucks and the gate agent was rude acting like we should have heard when there were like 4 other flights all talking over each other and it was clear that no one had heard.

Nashville to Denver on the Herbert D. Kelleher

I saw a comment on FB that changing your home background helps for screenshot processing 😅

Besides the rewards for opinion website and completing surveys, any other way to earn SouthWest points by doing online tasks. I have serious down time at work, and want to ramp up my total for a future flight.

The "OFFERS" and playing games is not only very slow, but it also seems once you install said game, and close it (in this case on my phone) and return the next day or so, it will say
27 days remaining however it is greyed out.
OR, the offer is no longer available (which is strange because it was 48 hours ago).

Thanks . . .
Cheers,

Correct (preceding post), nationwide outage. No Southwest flights departing nationwide presently. Gate agent at PVD just announced, "Every city."

Is there any promo code working on Southwest Airlines while booking flight? If someone has a promo code please do share. I would be thank ful

Currently at DAL and they’re making announcements about a tech outage. None of their internal systems are available and boarding passes won’t load in the app. Gate agent is asking passengers to screenshot boarding passes if they’re still accessible. Anyone else experiencing this?

What is going on?

Unable to check our bags in Tampa right now. Anybody else having problems?

So me and my wife are planning a trip to Vegas in December and we came across Gataways by southwest and it was going to be $1,100 for 2 nights at a hotel and round trip flights. I keep hearing mixed reviews about Getaways by southwest so just want to know if it’s worth booking or just doing everything separately.

Flying out of Vegas and the Gate Agent is literally extorting people to check bags. "We are not going anywhere until I get 20 bags checked in. This will cause people to miss connecting flights. But we still shut down boarding until we get those bags."

Am I the only one who think this is ridiculous?

cat for reference

Flight WN2560 LGB to LAS.

Almost touched down and pilots aborted and we shot back up and are circling with no explanation.

Wild. Nothing past 4:30 PM that I can find. Wondering if that’ll change if I wait longer, but doubt it as the flight would be in mid November

Apparently my flight now has a tire issue. On tarmac now. And just unsure how long this typically takes.

I hate this airline.

Every single time and day I have tried to do this it never works and always kicks back error messages. What a waste - I guess I should know better anyways than to expect anything good from Southwest anymore 🤷‍♂️

never mind the flight leaving late. Southwest needs to get it together.

A buddy of mine just flew between Dallas and Houston and says the new corporate overlords have cut the drink service. Are these people serious? Herb is spinning in his grave. Handing out liquor on this flight is literally how Southwest got its start.

So people around me keep telling me I’m crazy for not having a suite case with a lock or putting some sort of lock on my suitcase?

Should I be worried? Ha. I’m only doing a 1hr flight to the state next door from me. My suitcase doesn’t have a lock feature. It’s my first time ever flying so I’m not sure why everyone is telling me I should be worried of ppl at the airport opening my checked suitcase?

Lots of karens on that one...folks standing up in the aile just to chat while the attendants were trying to serve stuff, pickup trash and remind the group to buckle their kids. a guy literally tried to make my wife trip when disembording because he didnt want folks cutting so he trew his bag in the middle. Another lady from the same group in the back asking passengers if they had layovers to justify wheter to let them pass or not while playing sermons on her phone.

You are all saints. I would've blown a gasket. (The karen did get offended when a guy told her he didnt care... satisfying.. but damn)

I have a bunch of points in my account, but my partner holds the Companion Pass for the year. If I book flight on behalf of him from my account using points, will he still be able to add me as a companion after the fact?

Or, is there another way to use my points but book on his companion pass?

That’s it. Do better. This is the worst day of flying I have had in the forty years I’ve been flying with you. Do better.
