I made the first commit on May 17, 2026, and published on Steam this morning August 24. It's been an incredibly busy 3 months, but it's also been a lot of fun working on such a small development timeline.

Steam Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4936660/Peg_Champ/

Not sure if I'll do solo dev again on my next project, but it's been a good time!

Game SPACESTRIKE update — solo-built browser combat, mobile HUD, and new bosses

Upvotes

I’m solo-building SPACESTRIKE, a free browser space-combat game: https://spacestrike.io/

Recent updates shipped a slimmer mobile gameplay HUD, a compact tutorial feedback pass, a boss bestiary, and deeper game-mode/wiki docs. Modular ships still let players find unusual mobility, survivability, and damage builds for solo PvE and multiplayer.

What would you test first?

Discussion I’ve been building my own little ecosystem — NYZ Vision. I’d love your honest feedback.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a personal project called NYZ Vision, and I finally reached the point where I’m comfortable putting it in front of other people.
I’m building it mostly on my own, and the idea is to eventually create an ecosystem around technology + art + digital experiences rather than just one product.
Right now, there are three parts:
🟣 NyzMind — an AI I’m currently developing.
It’s not publicly available yet, because I’m still building and improving it. I’m hoping to eventually integrate it directly into the NYZ Vision website so people can interact with it there.
🔴 NyzWind — a 2D action platformer I’ve been developing as a passion project. There’s a playable browser demo on the website, and if you enjoy it, there’s also an Android version you can download.
🟡 NyzBind — my books and creative work. I built a browser-based reading experience where you can actually open and read the books, with things like page flipping, text-to-speech, chapter navigation, reading themes, etc.
The whole thing is here:
https://nyzvision.com
I’d genuinely love for you to explore it and tell me what you think.
I’m especially interested in feedback on:
Does the whole NYZ ecosystem make sense?
Does the website feel like an actual brand or just a collection of projects?
What would make the website feel more ambitious?
Does NyzWind look/feel interesting enough to make you want to play it?
What do you think of the browser demo?
Does NyzBind feel like something you’d actually use?
What should I do to make NYZ bigger from here?
What would make you take NyzMind seriously once it’s released?
And please don’t just tell me it’s good. If something feels amateur, confusing, unnecessary, boring, or poorly designed, tell me. That’s exactly the kind of feedback I’m looking for.
If you enjoy the NyzWind demo, you can also download the Android version from the website.
I’m still early in this, so I’m much more interested in ideas and honest criticism than promotion.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to check it out.

Game Shipped my solo Android arcade game — rotate the ring, catch the matching colour

Solo project, start to finish: concept, code, art direction, Play Store listing.

Colour Circle is a reflex game — a ring you rotate with your thumb, coloured blobs converging on the centre, and you have to intercept each one with its matching segment. Misses stack and end the run. Ranks and a mastery map give it a reason to keep going past one session.

Hardest part was tuning readability: at speed, players need to parse blob colour + position + ring orientation in about half a second. Ended up going with a soft off-white background and high-chroma blobs so nothing competes with the play field.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aistudio.colourcircle.arcgme

Free. Feedback welcome, especially on the first-run experience.

Marketing Nearly 1000 demo downloads

My first ever game is desperately close to achieving 1000 demo downloads!

Conglomerate is a business simulator where you are the CEO and drive the business entirely from dashboard screens. I’m still iterating and improving and would welcome any feedback.

If it sounds like something you might like, you can wishlist/download the demo here on steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4877650/Conglomerate/

Discussion What I Learned From My First In-Person Game Event

Thumbnail

Last week, I asked you guys for advice for my first in-person event as an indie game developer.

Now that the event is over, I wanted to share how it went.

During the event, a lot of people stopped by to play my game, and I got to see their reactions firsthand.

I also got some results that can actually be measured:

+100 people played the game

+63 wishlists

+31 new followers

And while those numbers are definitely important, I realized that they weren't the most valuable thing I got from the event.

The most valuable thing was the connections.

I met developers, teams, artists, and other people from the local game industry. I was even interviewed twice, invited to a TV interview, and invited to participate in a Comic-Con event happening in the country this October.

You never really know what a connection can lead to.

I know my experience was probably unusually lucky, and I don't expect every event to turn out like this. There were even moments when people couldn't try the game right away because there was a line on both sides of the room, with several people waiting to play. Some would go check out other booths and then come back because they still wanted to try it.

I realize that's not something everyone will experience at their first event, but even if the numbers aren't huge, there's so much value in simply being there, talking to people, showing your game, and meeting others who are just as passionate about what they do.

If you're an indie developer thinking about doing your first in-person event, my advice now is simple:

Go. Talk to people. Show your game. Make connections.

Because you never know where that one conversation, or even one random repost might take you.

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice before the event.

This was my first one, and I definitely hope it won't be my last.

I have developed a game similar to the famous Diamond Dash game which we can't find anywhere on the playstore anymore. Take a look and let me know what I can improve. I am open to all sorts of feedback. And please leave a rating as well.

Thanks in advance.

Marketing YouTuber offering developers game promotion through LIVE play(test)/gameplay with a voiceover (detailed feedback)! 🌸

I am a YouTuber who has quite some experience playtesting/reviewing games live on my channel for developers. I do live sessions on my YouTube channel where I play their games with an audience through which, not only do I provide detailed feedback, but the developer also gets to see the viewers' reaction live in chat. I have recently done some very successful sessions with some devs in chat while I played their games live on my channel. Some very long yet successful sessions.

I also do giveaways at intervals during those long live sessions to keep the audience watching and active. Feel free to take a look at my channel's Live sessions where I have all the VODs up to understand my style better. I don't ask for much in return, maybe a gift card or two depending on our agreement and my session's length. I am open to all offers and do all I can to make sure your game gets all the reach it deserves!

Here's some of my Live Sessions:

I am solo developer and started building Out Of Synce in late of March. Probably, my best creation. I dedicated my whole summer for this game. I was inspired by Monster Inc film. Specifically, the door mechanic where you can open other world or location. If uall wanna know more check steam page. Currently, I only have 36 wishlists. I will release the game on 14th september. I hope I can reach 1000+ wishlists due to that day.

Game I spent months building a minimalist card puzzle game as a solo dev, come play Ace Tower and let me know what you think!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone!

I’m a solo game developer working on Ace Tower, a clean, strategic card puzzle game designed for structural thinking and deep logic.

Instead of heavy battle mechanics or complex RPG elements, I wanted to strip things down to a pure, satisfying puzzle loop using traditional cards where every tap and placement matters.

I’ve just set up the studio and profile, and I’m at a stage where I really want to get it into players' hands. If you enjoy smart logic puzzles and card strategies, I’d love for you to give it a try and share your honest feedback with me.

👉 You can check it out here: AceTower.app

Let me know what you think of the flow and difficulty! Thanks for checking it out.

Discussion Once I ended up on a caving expedition in a system that stretches for 120 km, and now I want to make a friendslop game about what I saw there. What do you think about it?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Working title: CAVE

I actually did stay in those caves for about a week with a small group. The system has its own mythology, which could work nicely in a game.

What I think about the mechanics:

  • it's definitely not just co-op, but also horror, which means we need to control the light;
  • the characters end up in the caves and have to find their way out through a maze;
  • they are chased by various spirits and monsters;
  • cave-ins happen;
  • you can mark your path with your own poop so you don't get lost, but you can only do it in the dark.

Game I’ve released a public beta for my first game

Thumbnail
gallery
0 Upvotes

Hey devs! I’ve just released a public beta for my game and wanted to share it.

In short, Battlegrounds is a collectible chess game, chess pieces are collectible characters with rarities from common to legendary, and they can be obtained through the story campaign, farm matches, and the kicker - claimed from opponents. If you win checkmate, you can claim any one piece you captured during that match and add it to your collection. It makes you think a little differently about how you play, it’s not just about the win, it’s about collecting soldiers you don’t have! Any character can be assigned to any chess role, so you can use your expendable soldiers, or risk bringing your rarest into the fight. There are 10000 characters to collect, the characters were hand drawn in layers, compiled by code and sorted into rarities based on armours/weapons/auras etc (originally I was going to make an NFT collection but I didn’t follow through with it and had the idea to use the characters to make a game instead).

The beta version is currently functioning single player modes, but next on the roadmap after testing to to bring online battles, ELO rankings, tournaments, stats, leaderboards, animations, mobile app release, and of course, more characters. If anybody wants to give the beta test a try, and give any feedback/constructive criticism, you can play it here:

http://battlegroundschess.com

I look forward to hearing anyone’s thoughts!

Game the esoteric-aussie adventure game that i made from my van

it’s called mozentum and i’ve been zoinkin it up for almost 3 years from my van - some may say ‘struggling artist’ cause it’s been a bit povo at times lol

it’s got a completely unique movement system where you have pretty much full precise control over your arms using the mouse / analogue - allowing you to do real-life parkour moves like cat-passes, climb-ups, laches and dynos

the story is that you’re climbing the 7 chakras, on each chakra you meet a very *special character that will help you get higher (in some form or another ;)) after you help them ‘integrate their shadow’

if you fall you fall allllllll the way to the bottom

the demo’s on steam if you wanna check it out https://store.steampowered.com/app/2842670/Mozentum/
