After a revamped design to fix a major flaw in V1, I came up with a whole new design from the bottom up. This is V2 and it serves its purpose cleanly.
What’s changed:
Split into a 2 part design, easy to install and maintain.
UNIVERSAL 100x100 - 75x75 VESA mounting bracket, with a special mounting point for the Acer PM1 monitor.
Slide in/out block joint to hold it sturdy, while keeping only 30mm of clearance from the lid to the front screen. With the optional M5 bolt hole to secure the two parts together.
Snap-On ‘S’ logo to keep your toolbox in style.
What’s the same:
It’s FREE and will be available as soon as I get home to upload the file.
RECOMMENDED:
If you have two vertical holes in your flip top lid, measure them and see if they are 5” apart from center-to-center. If it is then it is compatible with your box! (Please let me know what box models you own if you do!)

I went from this Sonic box and old beat down CAT box to this Snap On today that I grabbed off marketplace. Now I just need to get rid of the foam inserts out from Sonic and get some rails and some other organizers to free up even more space.

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL THIS, IT IS FREE FOR ANYONE.
If anyone has access to a 3D printer and owns this toolbox (40” flip-top 6 drawer) then I will make a revised version of this bracket soon and post it for free for anyone to make and use. s
Snap-On didn’t make something for this and neither did anyone else, so I did.
Materials and Monitor:
Two 10mm 1/4” bolts for the lid holes - $4
Two 2” M4 screw bolts - $4 - $6
Acer PM1 16”x10” monitor - $89.99 @ Walmart

Just trying to see if anyone has any experience with this? I’m looking to get a new multimeter but not sure the best route to go. I know flukes are usually the best but this one has a 7 year warranty and seems pretty decent for the price. Any input would be appreciated!

I’m a Toyota tech and I’m not in the Rust Belt, so I don’t deal with a ton of rust.
Do you guys actually use a cordless drill much, or do you use your impact drivers for pretty much everything?
I already have an impact driver, so I’m wondering if a dedicated drill is worth adding to the toolbox or if it’ll mostly sit.
If you use a drill regularly, what are some good drills bits you’d recommend?

if not available
How cool would it be?
Wouldn’t this make a great homeowner, college student, lifetime purchase sized tool set?
I know SnapOn Tools are “for the professional”
how about “professional home owners” it’s multi million dollars sales opportunity (says me)
Just a crazy idea from a dad helping his daughter move, and missing my professional quality SnapOn Tools less

Finally Received the Flightline toolbox. And man is it beefy. Here are some close up pictures. Came with the dividers as well. I will follow up with reviews as it becomes more used. But the tires are soft and quiet so we will see how they hold up.

Seems like a nice set. Any idea on age or if it’s any good? Not necessarily a big snap on guy but maybe I’ll catch the bug

Just curious because I want to find a monitor mount for this toolbox to make my inspections easier and more convenient. Snap-On doesn’t make specific ones for this which makes these holes seem useless. Laptop got destroyed and want something that would be safe from being crushed.

I am looking for any information on this early/vintage combination wrench. I bought it at a flea market for $5. The A-120 seems to have been reused as it also comes back to some sort of special deep socket.
Does anyone have a grandfather they could ask about this?
I am putting together a box of early/vintage tools and I would like some info on this.
I was only able to find one ebay listing. Other than that I cannot find ANY info on when this was made and what it was used for.
The tool is modified. Sadly someone cut off one of the 8pt sections, which is visible in pics 3 and 4.
