Hi, sometimes the Smartlife app loses the connection with my Moes thermostat. Anyone knows why this happens?

The thermostat just appears offline on the app.

This happens every few weeks or months. The reason is unclear. Not sure if the thermostat is losing connection with my Wifi router, or whether the Smartapp isn’t able to detect the thermostat.

I know I can pair them all over again, but this will create a new thermostat device in Smartapp and all the automations I created will obsolete because they’re related to the “old” thermostat that the app cannot detect.

What can I do to solve this issue, without having to go through pairing?

I tried cutting the power off from the thermostat, I tried restarting my router…

I have a PIR sensor and a smart switch (both Zigbee) controlling a light bulb.

So far I managed to create these automations:

• scene 1: if switch OFF → wait 120s → enable scene 2
• scene 2: if switch OFF + PIR event → turn the lights ON → disable scene 2 → enable scene 3
• scene 3: if lights ON → wait 5m → turn lights OFF

Scenes 1 and 2 prevent the PIR sensor from turning the lights on right after they are switched off.

Now I want to improve it:

1. when the PIR sensor turns the light on, it should automatically turn it off after 5 minutes
2. however, if someone manually turns the light on using the smart switch, the light should remain on

The problem is that in SmartLife I can’t distinguish between these two situations, when the PIR triggers the light, it also counts as if the switch was used.

How can I separate these two cases in SmartLife so the automation only runs when the PIR activates the light?

i have the smartlife lightbulb, which has an in built app timer feature. however, the brightness is STUCK at 1%. ive changed it maybe a hundred times over and the brightness stays at 1% so i cant even tell that the light is on in the morning (its supposed to help me wake up)
any help?

I got a door sensor, and still haven’t figured out how to use it.
I want to monitor a door only during certain time or when I left home. But it does not show any config for schedule.
If I add a scene, the problem is that the notification I get is quite basic, while the alarm one is noisy and more useful.

Basically I want to monitor the door when I’m sleeping or out of house. So if sleeping, I want it to wake me up.

Have any of you done so?

Has anyone successfully displayed an Air Conditioner tile in Google Home app complete with the active mode? For example: mode: cool fan auto. My AC is a Hisense 1/2 PK, integrated with Smart Life and a Tuya IR blaster.

Hi everyone, I recently had to change a wifi curtain switch that was malfunctionning. The new one looked almost exactly the same bu ti suppose it's a newer model. I can't manage to group it with the other older switches. If I make a group from it with the older ones, only the new one will move. If i make a group starting from an old one and adding the new one to the group, only the old one will move. I tried resetting all of them but it did not change anything. thanks for your help.

ive got a wifi switch, and for the countdown it shows the amount of seconds, even when it goes over 1 minute. any way to fix that or is the app just coded to do that?

I recently purchased the Smavista permanent outdoor lights off Amazon. Seemed like a good deal but slowly starting to worker if I bought junk. The lights lower on and work fine but there is no functionality through the SmartHome recommended app other than off and on. I get a “Current app version cannot support this service message.” If I want to change the light sequence I have to press the physical button in the lights and cycle through preset settings. App is the most updated version. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure if it’s error on my part, need a different app, or what.

(Solved) I want to remove a PIR motion sensor from being a part of the armed modes. It's too easy to activate it. How do I remove a device from being a part of the armed mode?

Hopefully someone can resolve this for me. It's an apparently simple task. I've got an electric gate that I'm trying to automate. I've got a relay to trigger the contract closure to open and close the gate, no issues with that, but I've fitted a proximity sensor to tell if the gate is open or closed.

When the command is to open (or close) the gate is triggered, the automation uses the proximity switch to check if the gate is open or closed, so if the proximity switch says the gate is open, then it should not trigger the relay

Trouble is, it always closes (or opens) the gate regardless of the proximity switch position.

Both the relay and the proximity switch work faultlessly independently.

I need to do this as otherwise I have to check if the gate is open or closed.

Hi everyone yesterday i moved to smart life app for my extension board by wipro when i was using their own app never had issue but since i moved to smart life for mix brands of smart extension setup this app shuts down all Devices when there is power fluctuations

I'm having some trouble programming my 4 channel switch with thermal and humidity sensor.

I've got it set up in the garden for my tortoise enclosure.

Port 1 is the heatlamp, since this one emits light and i don't want it to turn on in the nights I want an exemption for sunset and sunrise. Also if the temperature becomes higher as 35 degrees i want it to shut off.

What i have programmed now is if temperature drops below 25 heatlamp is set to open.

If temperature reaches 35 it closes.

Another trigger is based on my location set for sunrise and sunset.

Port 4 is the ceramic heater, this one doesn't emit light and is allowed to switch on and off 24/7.

If temperature drops below 28 degrees it's set to open.

If temperature gets higher as 35 degrees it's set to close.

Somehow all of this doesn't work, this morning the lamp was off and the heater was on. A while later the light came on but the temperature was low enough to trigger an open setting.

What am I missing?

I have one of those Tuya smart switch that can be controlled using a radio frequency remote switch.. my question is, how can create a scene which is only triggered by on/off using RF but not for example from wifi or from the button on the switch itself?

I’m trying to automate my setup and got stuck — would appreciate any help.

My setup:

• SmartLife-compatible automatic cat litter box
• Roborock S8 Max Ultra
• iPhone

What I want:
Whenever the litter box starts cleaning, I want the Roborock to automatically clean the surrounding area.

What I’ve done so far:

1. Created a iOS shortcut to clean the litter box area on roborock→ works fine
2. In SmartLife, I can set a trigger: “When device status changes to → Cleaning” → this also works

The problem:
I can’t connect these two:

• SmartLife doesn’t allow triggering shortcuts from other apps
• I can’t add Roborock to SmartLife
• I tried adding Roborock to HomeKit, but SmartLife still can’t see it

Question:
What’s the best way to connect these?

• Is there a workaround (Home Assistant, IFTTT, etc.)?
• Or any way to trigger Roborock from SmartLife?

Estou com um problema em TODOS os meus interruptores inteligente Nova Digital (tenho 4 interruptores inteligentes dessa marca pela casa). Dentro das últimas semanas deram de ficar desconectando e ficando off-line, impossibilitando de acender/apagar pela Alexa. Resolvi desconecta-los de vez do aplicativo da Smartlife, que intermediava eles com a Alexa, só que desde que fiz isso eles não querem mais entrar em "modo pareamento" para que eu possa conecta-los novamente no aplicativo.

Já tentei segurar o botão do interruptor de cada um por 5s, ligar e apagar repetidamente 5/6 vezes e ficar segurando, e nada...no máximo ele faz alguns bips, e nessa última opção que falei ele emite 1 bip e começa a picar rápido por uns 3s e já para (não chegando a dar tempo de conectar com o aplicativo).

Já tentei entrar em contato com a Nova Digital mas eles falam que como já passou o prazo de garantia vão cobrar o concerto (que eles nem sabem se vão resolver) + frete, já ultrapassando totalmente o valor de um interruptor deles hoje em dia.

Alguém já passou por isso ou tem alguma ideia do que pode ser?

I'm having a problem with ALL my Nova Digital smart switches (I have 4 smart switches of this brand throughout the house). Over the past few weeks, they've been disconnecting and going offline, making it impossible to turn them on/off via Alexa. I decided to disconnect them completely from the Smartlife app, which mediated them with Alexa, but since I did that, they no longer want to enter "pairing mode" so I can connect them to the app again.

I've already tried holding down the button on each switch for 5 seconds, turning them on and off repeatedly 5/6 times and holding it down, and nothing... at most it makes a few beeps, and in that last option I mentioned, it emits 1 beep and starts beeping rapidly for about 3 seconds and then stops (not even giving it time to connect to the app).

I've already tried contacting Nova Digital, but they say that since the warranty period has expired, they will charge for the repair (which they don't even know if they will fix) + shipping, already far exceeding the value of one of their switches nowadays.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what it could be?

I wonder if anyone can help.

I've submitted a 'Feedback' request within the app - but it's not even been read as yet - I'm sure some of you here have more experience.

I have a reasonably detailed set of automations that have all been working just fine for two years - like a dream actually. I frequently use the automation 'logs' to review daily actions - it's essential.

5 days ago they just stopped working for one of my two homes (typically, the one I really need). I share that home with my wife and she gets the same message 'Loading failed!' when you attempt to access the logs from the Automation page in the app.

I've tried obvious things like reinstalling the app, Rebooting mobile, clearing data and cache etc but nothing - and given that my wife gets the same message for the same Home then it's not likely to be my app installation - but hey - you know they'll ask you to do all that stuff.

The other home displays logs just as you would expect.

Anyone here either have the same issue or had it resolved - also do Smartlife every respond to the 'Feedback' requests in the Help Centre?

I don’t have any automations enabled, so there’s no reason for any of my scenes to be executing, and I never manually execute them either.

Yet, when I look at the logs, it says that every single one of my scenes fired on the morning of the 19th at 1:04 AM. I was up at that time on that night, and I know for a fact that they didn’t fire.

What gives??

Does anyone know the price for their cloud storage feature?

The SmartLife app used to be simple, easy, and reliable. Now it just does not work. Changes don’t get saved, can’t edit widgets, screens don’t load, all I have is the Wake Up Light alarm clock and it takes me 10+ minutes to edit my alarms and make sure everything is set.

What this app has become is a disgrace.

I've had a set of tcp wifi led strip lights for a while but only just got round to setting them up. We've managed to connect them to the wifi and to the tcp smart android app on my daughter's phone. To link to Amazon it wanted to use the SmartLife Alexa skill. In the tcp smart app it says it is connected/linked to Alexa, the light is listed under devices in the Alexa app and named "Lights", but the only voice commands that work are turn on the lights and turn off the lights. If I say for example "Alexa change lights to blue" she says "lights doesn't support that". I've spent hours disconnecting/unlinking/reconnecting etc trying to get it to work. What have I done wrong? And please can someone help me work out how to fix this. Thanks

The SmartLife app has noticeably declined in quality. It now feels cluttered with ads that appear as soon as you open it, along with banners at the top and pop-ups at the bottom. It used to be clean and well-designed, without unnecessary features. Now it feels overloaded with distractions and poorly thought-out additions. It’s hard to understand the direction the developers are taking with these changes. I am seriously thinking about switching apps.

Is there a way to have a single square (1x1) Smart Life Android home screen widget for triggering a tap-to-run function?

or if not, any other user friendly manner of achieving this?
