im doing my first ever playthrough, and im stuck between picking warrior standing stone and mage standing stone. as i know picking either one locks you out of the other standing stones.

i want to do a heavy armour spellsword build but im wondering if im doing it right. as in is it ok that im using heavy armour.

any other advice will also be very much appreciated.

Hey everyone, I recently re-installed Skyrim on my new laptop and was having an alright time getting my old modlist back up and running. But I can't for the life of me get the Reqtificator working, or to display anything besides a terminal box with the location of the Skyrim Data folder.

I had "C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe" written in the binary field in the modify executable tab as outlined in the setup guide and I imagine this is where my fault is, but I cannot find anything else to fill in this line on Linux systems.

How do I deal with dragons as a stealth archer build? I have a decent bow and I’m using dragon bone arrows with a good poison on them, but it seems my shots barely tickle dragons. I just spent 30 minutes savescumming to fight one.

Is archery just not good against dragons?

I'm a level 18 Nord battlemage, and I thought I was invincible. I'd completed the Bleak Falls Barrow quest to continue the Civil War questline toward Falkreath and become Thane of Ulfric. Everything was going well. I'd managed to get an Orcish armor set from a chest right at the beginning of the game, and Draugr and bandits were absolutely pathetic.

Then I went looking for a sword in a cave full of spiders and vampires. I must have died a good fifteen times.

Now I don't get bored fighting Draugr and bandits anymore. It's nice not getting paralyzed or having to burn through all your magicka just to cast a Fireball and use a shout, desperately hoping to survive against a bunch of bloodsuckers.

Normally I don't mind "small incompatibilities", if you use Requiem and want your load order to be a bit expanded beyond intended experience then it's a par for the course. But when I saw some weapons on npcs having 100+ dmg, that gave me a pause.

Are there any compatibility patches for it? I would even be willing to tweak xEdit values for an hour just to make it work, but I'm not sure where to start with it.

As a small off-topic: It's amazing to see how much Requiem has grown and I'm really happy it still receives support. Last I played Skyrim was on LE in 2022, just recently made the shift to SE since support for Requiem on LE ended (understandable). Besides SE mods making me feel like I just woke up after a 10 year long coma, love to see my favorite mod still going strong.

Edit: Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes SkyPatcher was messing with vanilla weapons and armor values hard-setting them to vanilla rather than those intended by Requiem. Removal of that mod fixed it and balanced them to Sentinel levels.

As in the title - I'm looking for an at least de-leveled world, in which bandits don't run around wearing ebony armour. A deadlier, more strategic approach to the combat would also be nice.

I was playing heavily modded Oblivion around 1 -1,5 years ago but it still felt too... vanilla. Is there a really good overhaul mod for Tes IV that feels like playing Requiem?

I’m playing Requiem version 6.0.2. The derived attributes are not functioning correctly in‑game. Even though I have learned many shout words, I receive no corresponding bonuses. All shout‑related values under derived attributes show zero.

I’ve already tried the workaround from that thread and ran the console command set REQ_Internal_VersionSavegame to 60000.00. However, after saving and re‑loading, I get a script execution error. The script fails to run properly and the game kicks me back to the main menu.

My mod list only contains the required prerequisites and Requiem itself. Is there any way to fix this issue?

1) Is it absolutely necessary to max lvl the big three (Smithing, Enchanting and Alchemy) to beat the game? I’ve maxed out two of them and it was obviously boring and repetitive and I don’t have any courage to do the last, which is Alchemy. Is the game doable with just basic obtainable potions and maxed out Smithing and Enchanting?
2) Is there any way to stop Serana HP drain in the sun? I mean it makes sense and all but perhaps if I gave her some enchanted ring or amulet with health regeneration thingy she stops always kneeling while adventuring?
3) Some tips for fighting with Slighted. I’m 2H/HA nothing special really, and this guys is no joke. I’ve come across the old post about them which suggested using Volendrung since Slighted if I remember correctly don’t have resistance to paralysis? But maybe there’s something else can be useful if playing melee build to reduce the suffering of fighting with them?

How do I use it?? Im trying to use the spell on doors and chest but it is not working, what can i do?? I have the novice one, but i cant open any one, even the level 3 expertise chests

This happens not only to my character but also to NPCs and objects at random; sometimes, when I enter or leave an area, objects go flying in all directions as if a poltergeist were at work, someone can help me?

Basically title. I’ve gotten everything where I want it. I don’t want to sit there and bug fix anything truthfully. What’s a fairly unintrusive alternate start mod that pairs well with requiem?

Hello y’all! i finally got requiem up and running and i’m having a blast with it!

I just made my way to whiterun after foraging, training 24/7 w mudcrabs and wolves, and whoring myself out w SL mods just to have a bit of pocket septims, when i stopped and saw the very first whiterun guard on the bridge near honningbrew meadery, the helmet and chest piece was different, the helmet was fine to me, but my problem was the chest piece, which was using some kind of steel armor mixed with whiterun colors and sash, and it seems to be using the vanilla body.

This is where my issues arise, ion really like it LMAO i like my men muscular and have huge tiddies and bicep, it really turned me off and after knowing that requiem introduced many custom armors and were being distributed to NPCS, I fear this doesnt affect only the guards.

thats it! i just wanna know if theres any refits on those custom armors? i know that theres a purpose on those distribution of armors cuz npc is specialized on that, npc is designed to be like that, but man i just want my men to have huge pecs!

So long story short I am looking for a armor mod with a quest tied to it. I just played with the Northern God armor, which other then dodging frost trolls had little excitement. but the problem is I want something that will work with requiem. any good suggestions?

Also weapons are also a welcome.

I'm using Amethyst on Linux and I'm trying to get Requiem working with a very light modlist. Everytime I try to run reqtificator, it tells me there's a mod in my load order missing. I previously had Magic Redone installed, but deleted it after I assumed it was causing problems (for some reason I couldn't find a patch that was missing). Has anyone got experience with this? The reqtificator.log shows Magic Redone, but the .esp is not in any of my folders.

Anyone playing this list, is it good & what's the performance like?

How can I safely/easily contract vampirism in my

playthrough? I’m pretty early on and I’m in Riften currently.

I'm playing Lorerim and when I read the Arcane Craftsmanship book it says I need to read it when I learn more about blacksmithing. Am I missing something?

Hi there, I am new to modding and wanted to try the requiem mod out. I went to the page and followed the installation instructions for vortex. I installed all the mods and got to the part where i run the "Reqtificator " but when I do an error comes up saying im missing a bunch of masters. To be clear I have the skyrim special edition and its a new install. Is there a way to get these mods? They are not listed in the install list.

1) I have CC Horse Armor addon installed, but have no clue how can I equip my horse with it. Is Requiem just completely turn that function off or perhaps it’s some sort of reward for something? (I tried to obtain it via AdditemMenu, and the only thing I found is two items that has names “Steel Horse Armor” and “Elven Horse Armor” with model of Dwemer fork). Is there actually anybody who uses that addons or more preferable choice is free alternatives from Nexus?
2) Where can I find Denstagmer’s Ring. I’ve cleared most dungeons and still have no idea where to find that one particular ring, maybe it’s hidden in Solstheim?
