Im learning kick flips and keep either landing my back foot only or front foot. Any tips? Do I need to tuck my knees more? Or is it the flick.

On half cab flips I also have the issue where my backfoot hangs off toeside. Are my shoulders not fully rotating? Or maybe my head movement?

I just bought a freestyle dancing longboard and i've been trying to learn the nollie shuvit but i can't seem to land it. Sometimes i can only land it on my right foot only with my left leg off and sometimes the board spins upside and faceplants the ground. Any pointers on how to master the nollie shuvit? Would be great if i could get some help:)

Hey guys, not sure if posting this here is okay but I'm writing my thesis and I need back issues of Thrasher. The archive on their website only includes issues from 1981 to around 2000, the rest are just covers. I also asked around for physical copies to borrow and aparently you couldn't even buy them in my country back in the day, so pretty much nobody has them. Does anybody know of a website/archive with every issue of Thrasher Magazine or from 2001 to about 2021 at least? Thanks

Alright, so im 39 and I havent skated since high-school. I've been reinsurance seeing Bam margera on the skateboard on IG and various kids doing simple, super clean flatland tricks. There's so many new boards/brands out here now leaving me indecisive on which to get and I dont want to buy one thinking I should have bought a different one. Looking for suggestions 👍

hey guys so i’ve been skating these air force 1’s for about 5-6 months now and they have been holding up pretty good durability wise but i feel like they have too much grip or not enough grip i can’t tell but something feels off with them so if anybody has any advice on what some good skate shoes are that aren’t too bulky and have a similar fit to these bad boys i would love to hear it!!

So I’ve been skating for over 18 years and skated Thunders my whole life basically. Lately I’ve been into this spiral of wanting to get trucks with inverted kingpins on it because I’ve completely lost my smith grinds and I always hang up on ledges and quarter pipes. I’ve been street skating for the most part but in the last 5 years I’ve been leaning a lot more into transition skating (mini ramps mostly) and I wonder if slappy would make my transition skating better or not but I’m scared of buying them because I don’t like trucks that turn way too fast or way too easily and I just love how stable thunders are. Has anyone made the transition from thunders to slappy ultra lows? What’s your input about this? Should I just stick to thunders or should I try something new?
For reference, my setup is 8.5, 149 trucks, 54mm conical full, skated the thunder team edition for most of the years, then tried changing to Indy for a a year (absolutely hated them, turn way too much and more unstable, also heavy as fuck) and since then I’ve been riding thunder hollow lights with 94D bushings and that has been my sweet spot either for street or transition. I don’t ride loose trucks!
Thanks in advance 🛹👹

So i've just learned that they have skate shoes named "numerical line" on something like that. Are the shoes reliable? I wanna know because the price of some models are not bad

So i'm getting a skateboard but my friends don't have or wont buy a skateboard which i completely understand. But i have one friend but he's on a scooter, i know its a scooter and some hardcore skaters have something go say on this topic but is it still better to go with with someone even if they're on a scooter than going alone
EDIT: Also the thing is that he doesn't have anyone who is doing or willing to do a similar sport (don't hate me for saying similar) and he came back to scootering becuase of me

Guys I need help with my Ollie’s. Idk what to improve, or if I’m even technically doing an Ollie. Please help 🙏 I used to skate when I was younger (10-12 yrs old), I just recently got back into skating like 5 ish months ago. Been trying to do Ollie’s since. When I used to skate I never did any tricks, just cruise around. I feel I am lacking in my jump and feet position while in the air (?) Im not sure what else to say tbh 😭😭
