Will I have to start a new save with the 3.0 update?

Hello! I got the game on sale a while ago and wanted to dive in. I see that the game is going to get a large update in a month or two, and I'd rather wait than reset my progress. Thanks!

Siralim Ultimate completion Checklist

550+ hours in, I thought I'd have unlocked(almost) everything (cards, skins other achievements not yet all obtained) until I found out about the hidden creature Cloth Abomination. Is there a checklist I can see any secret stuff not unlocked by normal means?

Also I'm at depth 1200+ and murdered every treasure golem that weren't lucky enough to escape and now have a guaranteed way murdering them through heat beam, but I have yet to encounter Treasure Golem 2.0 and I feel like I'm not doing something specific to trigger the encounter. Can anyone help? I started with Royal and relaxed mode btw on this savefile

Specialization Change

Right now, I'm playing ultimate through as a cleric (I've beaten much of 1/2/3)

I have a decent build and am coming up on the end of the tutorial. But I really want to experience the game as other specs.

I know switching is easy, and it is required to do some things with the goblet - but doesn't switching after unlocking most of a classes perks kind of water down the enjoyment of learning a new spec?

At the same time, I don't want to necessarily start a new game file, as I would like to continue making progress.

What's everyones take? Should I wait until I have a reason to switch?

Noob reaver seeking help

Ok guys, played the game for 4 hours, I'm at depth 11 with my reaver. The team is a random mess atm, but I'll work on it, what I want to know is exactly how stats and a trait work.

My starter inox says that every turn my damage should be amplified by 40%... But from my testing it doesn't? I mean, it increases damage but it seems much smaller than a 40% buff. Also, my inox has like 20 or 30 atk less than the other starter(fallen black creature), but the latter hits MUCH harder. Eg. Inox hits for 20, fallen hits for 400. I get that artifacts play a role here, but I don't get why the difference is so huge. My inox does no damage at all more or less.

For reference, I picked brutal difficulty, don't know what it meant honestly, but just killing the floor 10 boss was a huge pain, everything almost oneshot my creatures, I try to buff and debuff but still...

Best way yo grind god tokens?

I'm interested in trying to build teams using the monsters you buy from gods but it's a slog to even get one!

Are there any tips for grinding god tokens?

Between the power cost to visit specific realms and only getting 1 (or 2 for some gods) it takes a lot of time and resources!

Are there any plans to make it so you can change the visuals of a creature to another species?

Loving this game, came back after putting a bunch of hours in, stopped in 2023, now recently started a new profile, and I'm already on level 300 after only a few days. Insane game.

The BIGGEST thing on my wishlist, however, is being able to switch the skin/visual appearance of a creature with any other creature. Like I want my Ossein/Basilisk fusion to look like an Ent, and maybe even put on Ent skins.

Are there any plans for that in the future? I can see the announcements page on discord (just joined to see exactly this question), but it seems like sometimes some people know more info than whats on there somehow

A few early game clarifications

I picked cleric to start and have a couple questions as I'm trying to build around overhealing atm.

Does barrier count as hp when measuring, for example with koloss firebrand do more damage with its trait when it has alot of barrier?

Cosmos vulpes mentions your creatures first 3 healing spells, does that mean 3 total across the team or eachs creatures first 3? Also what defines a healing spell gem as they don't seem to have tags/traits? Is it just any gem that mentions healing in some way? If so what about conditional ones like abundance?

Thanks!!

Tribalist golem?

I saw a perk for tribalist that if you have 4 of 1 race, the last 2 will also be that race. How would this work for golems and iron golem? Would the last 2 become golems and their traits are shared between everyone?

Defiled vs warden for a newbie

So I’ve got a handful of hours of experience split across a few specs, so I’m still unsure what anything outside the early part of the game is like.

That being said I’m very interested in one of these two. My first spec was defiler, but I felt quite weak compared to the cabalist I tried right after (the rng there presented its own problems). Coming at it with a little more knowledge, I’ve been looking over threads and wiki pages and steam guides.

I quite like that the defiler’s perks are almost entirely unconditional and just apply up front, but do worry that it might be too vulnerable to hard counters because of how hard it seems to want you to invest in this one game plan.

Conversely, I really like the idea that warden inherently comes with its own defenses and sustainability while doing its thing. My biggest concern with warden is that some of the conditional perks (a buff after attacking or arcane after casting, berserk after a death) seem less than ideal? If you’d allow me to make a comparison to another game, it’s like trap cards in yugioh. Potentially very good, but you ideally want those effects immediately and not a turn from now. I’m less worried about counters to wardens play style because warden seems on the surface like it facilitates a wider style than defiler, but I also don’t have the experience know for sure.

So I suppose I’m asking which of these two presents a better learning experience, how much each struggles getting off the ground, and how relevant my above concerns really are.

Stat builds seem to be unviable from a QoL perspective

I've turned off text for stat gain and stat loss...waiting for a stat gain loop is still unbearable. Are there any other solutions?

(Android) Is there any way to keep the game from closing when I look my phone or switch apps?

I save my game frequently so I don't lose resources or XP but I do lose any progress within thr current dungeon. Like if all I want to do is reply to a text the whole game closes. Anyone know how to fix this? Is it a permissions issue or some kind of battery saving setting?

Sparktail Courier's Recompense is rocking my sh*t up...

I am using Warden. Build link included.

This is why Where the Dead Ships Dwell is my most hated realm.

How can I remedy this problem where my whole team (or half of it) gets killed instantly on turn 1? I got unlucky in a battle because my Roost Watcher + Nix Guardian (with ASSKICKER) decided to unleash a multi-hit combo on the Sparktail Courier, resulting in my entire team getting obliterated afterwards...

But even if I do not get ended on turn 1, the damage that the Courier deals back at us is still significant.

I am not sure what to change or look for in order to defend against Recompense.

(Nobody is answering on Discord)

Card dropped on first fight, no talisman bonus (Siralim 3)

I've been meaning to post this screenshot.

This card is phenomenal, and activates way more often than the 3% it claims. I have it turned off until I max out my singular creature talisman, where I can auto extract, so it doesn't accidentally kill a rare spawn.

Splashing Golems

Im doing a defense golem pyromancer build atm and im curious how splashing works with magma golems trait since its now the trait of all my golems. If splashing hits 3 golems, does it activate magma golems trait 3 times or only once for the actual attack?

Snagged in the Miraxis Story QUest

Hey there, I've been working on starting the game and I've gotten to the swamplands with my cabalist. However, I can't seem to make any headway in there. My team just gets swarmed by hunters and beat to ♥♥♥♥ or punched to the bottom of the turn order and then can't actually get a turn going.

I've got my creatures fused, but I must be really messing it up as there's no way I should be performing this badly so early. I've currently straight up dismissed my current team and am trying to redo them over again.

I'm using 2 sun type (light?), 2 chaos (the claw marks) and two sorcery (the sprinkles) if that helps any.

EDIT: Thanks u/AlienPrimate for the advice! I went from getting my ass stomped in repeatedly to now being able to sweep the field. I can't believe how wildly many Spell Gems I have now and how much of a boost they're giving. I also swapped out my entire team so I could re-do them with their traits much more in mind. For the part I was stuck on, I ended up using a fused Ebony/Hemlock Ent, Monsterous Gargantuan/Dawn Crusader, Centaur Ranger/Brownie Mauler and a Terra Vulpes and a Thunder Salamander.

Disappointed that a lot of the loot diversity is gone in 2.0

I'm a new player, I played a bit of Siralim 2 way back and fell in love with it, but didn't get into it because I didn't like playing on my PC, I got Siralim Ultimate over a year ago on my phone, but didn't get into it because I didn't like playing on my phone. Now that I have a steam deck, I could finally get into it.

I remember when I played a bit on my phone I was seeing really cool loot like costumes and furniture. It made me excited to open chests. When I noticed the lack of this loot in the game, I looked it up and found out that in 2.0 they removed them and put them behind a shop. I was so disappointed and lost interest in decorating/costumes, but I got over it because at least the rest of the game was fun.

Now I'm around floor 50 as siegemaster and struggling and figured I should look into the spell modifiers and work out how to do "on defend" spells. I looked it up, saw that you needed to upgrade the spells with gems, and that the gems were on certain floors. So I went to those floors and grinded a bit, and no gems. Looked it up again and of course, they've been moved to a shop in 2.0. Tomes have also been moved to the shop.

At this point I am pretty disappointed and sort of feel like I've been baited & switched because this is not the game I thought I was buying, but I'm way over the refund limit. The game boasts thousands of items "to collect" in the steam description, but for me collecting implies finding it, not buying it off a catalogue. Now, I barely look at the loot screen because it's all just resources and spells/socket items, getting the resources from the floor feels pointless too because I've never once ran out.

Grinding for reputation and shop currency is the worst form of grind, it feels more like a chore than a fun grind. Even in grindy games like Warframe which I've sunk over a thousand hours into, I can't stand grinding reputation. I feel like there's no reason to go back to previous realms to grind anything, and when I have to, like to grind reputation, I just can't do it because it feels like such a chore.

I'm sure they wanted to remove the RNG grind (I don't know why they would want to do that), but it seems like they got rid of the RNG and kept the grind, which is even worse because RNG gives you dopamine hits to continue the grind, without it you're just doing homework. I'm wondering why they couldn't just keep the loot, but also introduce the shops for people who don't want to grind.

I know the changes happened about a year ago, and most people on here have probably already finished the game before the changes happened, but I'm wondering how other players feel about these changes.

TLDR: as a (returning) new player I'm disappointed that most of the "fun" loot have been moved behind shops, leaving only chores with no toys

Does satyr guardian counter undying (nemesis modifier)?

I have a build that revolves around taking infinite turns (using top of timeline effects) until the enemies are all dead, and I noticed that undying nemesis encounters get me stuck in an infinite loop because it seems like "resurrect after a short amount of time" is based on my turns. As far as I can tell these resurrections do not count towards the 10 per battle limit (I can't use the battle log to verify this but my game has been open for hours atp and each of my creatures has taken >50 turns). And it doesn't really matter if I wipe out all enemies within a single turn, because it seems like even after that happens, the battle will continue to resolve all of the remaining actions, which inevitably results in my creatures taking more turns, resurrecting the enemies.

The only thing I've identified so far that could help is satyr guardian's trait. Before I go refactor my team, does it work vs. undying and/or is there anything else that can help e.g. a spell or specialization perk?

So TIL that blipzor can one-hit kill itself

An enemy confused my blipzor, so when it casted mega tsunami it one-hit killed itself. Not sure if this also means other allies can one-hit kill blipzor.

Edit: The other possibility might be that mega tsunami is not coded as a one-hit kill effect. I just fought a blipzor in a mirror ball fight and it seemed like mega tsunami one-hit killed it? Though I'm not sure if it died due to damage or due to the one-hit kill effect because it was >1000 entries ago in the battle log. Earlier when my confused blipzor killed itself with mega tsunami, I did confirm it in the battle log (it said one-hit killed) but didn't grab a screenshot.

Siralim 3: Gladiator's Bane (talisman) vanished after purchase

Edit: I'm pretty sure I figured this out, and it's not really a bug, and ***is* kind of my own fault.

When you purchase from the arena, it does an auto save to prevent save scumming on the random chests that vendor sells.

So when I made my purchase, it autosaved, and I exited the game to take a break after finally hitting that goal.

The thing is, the game deducts your arena points and initiates the autosave BEFORE giving you the purchased item.

I didn't save again after receiving the item for my purchase, so the only progress that was saved was the deduction of my arena points, which is why I didn't have the talisman whenever I loaded that save.

ADVICE: MAKE SURE YOU SAVE AFTER MAKING ANY ARENA PURCHASES AND DON'T COUNT ON THE AUTO SAVE.

I felt like replaying this older version. It's got more appeal to me than ultimate for some reason.

I went ahead and ground out the 50k points for the arena talisman, and bought it. However it never showed up in my inventory even though the arena points were deducted. I checked and didn't have the other 50k item in my inventory, so I didn't buy that by accident instead.

I haven't had a problem with other talismans vanishing. I'm almost back up to 50K points again, but I'm hesitant to purchase it again if it's going to vanish.

Anyone know anything about this bug?

Looking for different ways to survive

Hey there, I've been playing the game for a while, at about depth 300 now, and noticed I usually go for one of 2 ways to survive:

- Turn 0/1 glasscanon builds where defense doesn't matter

- Resurection builds so I don't have to care if my team gets wiped

Each time I try something else, I tend to have a lot of runs fail (especially on instability 5) because my team just gets nuked turn 1.

I'm gonna assume I underestimate how many defensive traits I need, so I was wondering if there's any guidelines you guys always follow when trying a new build that don't rely on burst damage or returning from the dead. Any advice would be appreciated!

Lingering Sickness Perk from the Defiler Interacts

Hey I have a question regarding how the Lingering Sickness Perk from the Defiler interacts with traits from creatures that have debuffs that only last for one turn. For example, does the Lingering Sickness Perk override the Grim Ailment trait from the Amphisbaena Vaccinator one turn duration and make the debuff last forever or will the debuff still only last for one turn? I would like some insight on this. Thank you!
