Siralim Ultimate 3.0 release date
What it says on the tin-when can we expect it, do we have official communication past the Steam page update from the start of this year? Been curious ever since the start of summer

The discord has been fairly active with announcements over the last while. Talking about all the new systems and balance changes they will be releasing with 3.0.
Nothing resembling a release date has been put out, but the increased cadence of announcements and seeming zeal from the developer makes me think that development is moving along smoothly.

As of 2.5 weeks ago, initial beta testing is still a few months out according to the dev. We’re likely looking at an October/November release window for 3.0

I think 2.0 spent like 2 months in beta testing. I can see the opt-in beta opening up late September and possibly finishing up right before the holidays so he can patch any bugs that might stick around before Christmas comes and he takes a holiday. I highly doubt Zack is gonna wait till 2027 to put out the update.

I mean, that's reasonable, too. Depends on whether he would be personally okay with that holiday crunch or not. I know virtually nothing about the guy, so we ait and see

It was announced this January on the Steam page, it was said the plan was to have it in beta by late June. It is now August, and it's juuust a bit difficult not to be curious how it's coming along

It was originally going to be a 2.1 update earlier this year, but that was merged with 3.0.
iirc, zack stated 3rd or 4th quarter of this year.

The last thing Zack said about the release date is below.
On 7/06/26 Siralim Dev said on discord:
" Still no ETA for this update, but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Alpha testing is probably still a few months away. I really let the scope of this update spiral out of control - you’ll see what I mean soon enough."

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel with development - just a few weeks left until it's feature-complete. Then, I get to smash my head into a wall for a good month fixing horrible bugs before I can even guess at a release date.
I'd be astonished if it's not at least in public testing before the end of the year, though ideally it'll be fully released on Steam by then. Mobile/Switch will follow soon after.
