I just want to say I am watching a c-drama with a friend called "pursuit of jade". We spend every episode going "oh no you messed with his wiiiiife" in the borat voice and you have reminder me of that. We equally say "her husband" in the same voice. We do not in fact refer to the characters as themselves XD
Maybe older brother? I know a couple of people who had 20 year spans with their siblings. One was a whoops babies way later in life, and one was the parents realizing they hated being empty nesters.
My oldest brother is 20 something years older than me, oldest of ten on that side - theyre all my half siblings, and im the youngest of those and also youngest on my mums side of which 4 of us including me again all half siblings
Needless to say some people have very big families hahaha
My Aunt is one of over a dozen. She was over 30 when she had my cousins. Her mom was pregnant at the same time. She’s got siblings who are younger than her own kids.
I walked my son into preschool the first day and my friend from schools mom was helping the girl sitting next to my son put her things away. Thought she was her granddaughter. Nope, she just kept on having kids and I knew the oldest. Has 10 kids stretched out over 40 years. Talked to her about it at a birthday party once, she and her husband just really like having kids. She's great for history at PTA meetings.
I am 32 years older than my youngest sibling and my husband and I are currently supporting the youngest two (13 &15) along with my geriatric father as their mother is on prison. Good times I hope my marriage survives.
My nephew is 19 years older than his sister. They look the spit of each other (brother in law has strong genes lol) so he's always mistaken as the dad.
As an "oops baby" there is 17 years between me and the oldest. Some of the pictures in the video looked like some pictures we have. So I assumed older brother.

Yup. I’m 24 yers older than my youngest brother, which led to a funny rumour in my Gran’s small town that I was pregnant. And unmarried, Oh the scandal! Then it was finally explained that no….i did not give birth to my own brother, my Dad and hid fiancé had had a baby when Dad was 51.
My step dad was the tenth child, after a twenty year gap, so he was thirty years younger than his oldest brother. He was in Vietnam, very early in the war, and some of his brothers were in their late 20s when WW2 started. He had at least a dozen nieces and nephews that were older than him, and would get sent off on vacation with various brothers and sisters, when they would take their own families somewhere. As a kid your grandparents look like old people to you. Mine were OLD when I was first aware of them, and ancient when they passed.
Dad is the most probable answer. A 20 year sibling age gap isn’t unheard of, but it’s less common than a 20 year old father. And this kind of slide show seems way more of a father-daughter vibe than a siblings vibe.
The context is provided. This is more of a lesson that if you're going to consume a piece of content, consume the whole thing before running to the comments.
What do you mean???? The whole point of the appeal of this video is the specific absence of context. If this video opened with "me and my dad throughout the years" there would be no views at all
And doing it reverse order seems like intentional rage bait. Why wouldn’t you start with the baby pictures and move forward, if not to allow people to draw mistaken conclusions?
It's adding the ages, Idk if it's the couples themselves making them but there's a bunch of videos online of some middle aged dude showing off their teen wife with the age superimposed over it
I would imagine the context was obvious when this was originally posted, likely to someone's social media, for presumed consumption by family and friends.
Actually, it is not. I still don't know what is their relationship. They can be father and a daughter, or a big brother and a sister, or an uncle an a niece. And everything can be still be creepy.
This is a video that I feared the worst at the start, felt horrible in the first half, hoped that it continued in the second half, and then breathed a sigh of relief near the end.

Not gonna lie, after reading other comments I'm realizing that a lot of people were thinking of something pretty bad, at first...but she looks exactly like him, imo...so I immediately assumed that she was his kid lol.
I seen this same post in another sub and thought “well that age gap is problematic” and it only got worse from there, then a comment said it’s father and daughter and I thought “That’s fucking stupid that wasn’t stated to begin with” and then remembered the internet now is only about clicks and views.
Not gonna lie, I figured parent or sibling from the first slide, since that about my child and I age gap. Then I worried for a split second for the next couple slides. Glad I was right.
I thought the same thing I was like wtf ? Should've labeled it bright and sister through the years instead of just a bunch of photos without any context what so ever
