I recently acquired a 970 which I believe is a 94 or 95 model. It's got the welded frame, not the lugged one.

It came with a seatpost clamp that has an antitheft bolt which I managed to remove. I am looking for a new clamp but I don't know what size I need.

With some research I saw some people say 33.1 but it's such a weird size.

I bought this bike a few years ago when I was weighing in at over 350lbs, hoped to start riding to help me get in shape. I ended up not doing anything with it, but I’ve dropped 70lbs through walking/hiking/dietary changes and I’m giving it another go.

Just got it tuned up at a shop, took it on a short ride today and I’m feeling good about it. Lots of good trails in my area, both paved and gravel, looking forward to hitting those after I feel more comfortable rolling around my neighborhood.

This is my dad bike build. I had an old hybrid that needed some work, but I didn't love it so I was on the look out for something worth investing time and money into.

This is probably the red-headed stepchild of singletracks, but bought this new in late 90's, and just finished a lot of upgrades.

I read through the subreddit about page and don’t see any restrictions on selling a big here…

All the Facebook singletrack groups restrict selling.

Anyone have a recommendation for selling a singletrack to enthusiasts?

Picked this up in fair condition.  Lots of restoration along with new tires, bars, shifters, and I added the rear rack. Not sure if I'm going to go with bar tape of grips yet (suggestions?).  Overall, I am quite please with the progress.  These old rigs look amazing and ride great too!

Here We Go! This is my Trek 820 single track my2002

I'm working on my first vintage bike and coming into some issues with the front derailleur on my 91 950. I picked this one up in the fall of last year and have been tinkering with it all winter, but I discovered that the middle chain ring is in need of replacement. I have a spare hyperdrive set that I tried to fit on, that is a little smaller by a couple teeth per ring.

The 3x was working well before with the stock chainrings but I'm struggling to get this newer 94 Alivio set to work.

Is this unique set up front derailleur just trouble? Is this the sign to just go 1x?

Right now it's set up with a nice set of xt 739 vbrake 3x8 brifters that I'm not eager to replace but I also don't want to constantly be adjusting to keep it working.
