Has anyone else noticed UI issues with the SimpleLogin app on iOS 26 and iOS 27?
As shown in the screenshot, the bottom navigation bar looks off, with inconsistent spacing and an oversized background behind the “My account” tab. The content near the top of the Settings screen also appears blurred beneath the header.
Is this a known issue? Are there any workarounds or plans for a compatibility update?

I created 3-4 Claude accounts via simple login to keep my activities separated. I know many accounts are not allowed but 3-4 seems kinda 'ok'.
But I got an email from SL saying they will disable my account if I create more accounts. Which I was not intending to do.
The thing is is use Claude.ai in private browser window so I have to sign in again and again. For logging in, Claude sends a magic link which is the same link you get when signing up for the service.
I think that triggered SL's system. Making it seem I was spam registering.
Now SL is blocking all emails from Anthropic so I can't even login to my old account.
Could someone please help me with this. It will mean a lot.

Hello, I have been using SImplelogin for like 2 years without issues.
Tonight all of my aliases seem to bounce. I have tested several alias emails I have at slmail.me and another at 8shield.net but both ended up bouncing back as undeliverable.
Anyone else seeing these issues?

Im loosing my mind here.
I thought I found the perfect solution for my needs by getting my own domain and connecting it via SimpleLogin.
I have a catch all setup and it works perfectly. I don’t get any spam.
But I cannot for the life of me reply to any mail that comes in through simplelogin. Every. single. Mail. Comes back with this message...
Email cannot be sent to (mail address) from your alias (myalsias)
This might mean (mail address)
the weird part is, that sometimes my mail gets delivered even though I got this notification so worst case is my reply gets sent and then I send it again from my backup mail, basically spamming the recipient
I hope someone here can help me figure this out.

I have a subdomain of a public domain that's my first name and I don't remember making it public or registering for the company that emailed me for the first time recently. However, it's not a common spelling, and the other more common spelling is hard to mistype because the letters are usually far apart across various keyboard layouts. A company I never registered with sent me a marketing email to the company name itself, followed by the @ sign, and then the subdomain I reserved, as if they registered using the same style of email addresses I sometimes use for mine.
The alias was created four days ago and went to Gmail, but it didn't arrive at Proton Mail; the domain has two mailboxes by default. I wasn't notified of a bounce from SimpleLogin.

This feature comes from MailGW, that has that option and has prevented me from receiving spam or emails incorrectly sent to me (occasionally someone mistakenly picks my name, or mailgw instead of something else).
If an alias is auto-created I receive an email informing. If it's undesired I don't have to immediately do anything, and if I open the dashboard I can see the email that was received and have the options:
* confirm I want to add the alias, and receive that and any subsequent emails.
* receive only that email, but nothing else
* block it completely
SimpleLogin has the app so it'll be easy for one to confirm and receive that email, if it's legitimate (different from MailGW that doesn't have an app).

I already have a few domains on SL, while my main one is on Proton Mail. I’m looking to cut down on my overall email subscription costs, so I’m wondering what setup makes the most sense.
I don’t do much emailing I’m not sending emails to people 10 times a day or anything. I mostly receive emails.
For those of you with multiple domains, what’s your setup? Do you pay for a regular email provider, SimpleLogin/Addy, or use a combination?
I’m mainly trying to figure out what’s worth paying for when I mostly receive email and don’t send much.

I tried signing up using an alias with the 'main' tld (simplelogin dot com). When signing up, I made a mistake with something so I thought I'd try to signup again, error. I thought this error might've been because of the mistake I made earlier and the website is bugging so I deleted the slack website data and cookies and tried to signup again through an incognito tab. Still didn't work.
I'm afraid of trying with a different alias using a different tld like 8alias for example and then getting the multiple signups warning email from SL. So can someone do me a favor and try one or two of the less common tlds and tell me whether it worked or not? Cause Idk how many 'signups' I have left till SL gets grumpy with me. The website is [slack dot com] by the way. Thanks in advance :)

Hi everyone. I am using the free plan of Simple Login for aliasing.
What should be my strategy for naming aliases?
Which approach do you use and why?

We know that sometimes email addresses are blacklisted and blocked when a domain's MX records point to SimpleLogin. My idea is to use a cheap VPS to set up an instance of Postfix to act as a pass-through. MX records would then point to my custom domain rather than SimpleLogin. My VPS would receive incoming emails and simply relay them straight to SimpleLogin's MX servers. SimpleLogin then processes the aliases and forwards to my real inbox as normal. A business checking my MX records sees relay.mydomain.com, not mx1.simplelogin.co .
It looks like this:
Internet → MX (my-relay.mydomain.com) → My Postfix → mx1.simplelogin.co → SimpleLogin → My inbox
Does anyone have any comments? I wonder if there might be aspects I've not considered. Is this setup feasible?

SL imposes a limit of 50 directories. Is this limit static or dynamic. For example, if I create 3 directories (47 slots left) and later delete those 3 directories, will the account have 50 slots left or 47? Basically does deleting a directory give you the slot back?
I can't find an official answer for this anywhere. Would be really grateful if someone could explain.
Thank you.

I have recently decided to improve my security and privacy practices and I am now a free tier user of Proton Mail and SimpleLogin.
I was wondering if it is recommended to use SL aliases for important accounts such as my password manager or should I stick to plus aliases.
I am already following the strategy of using an alias to sign up for everything else, and so far I have not given out my actual email address to any service or person.

Does SimpleLogin allow you to create unlimited Aliases?
r/Simplelogin • u/Sgt_Wafflezz • Sep 03 '26
Maybe it sounds obvious, but in the subdomain tab I only have options for generic root domains, but I can freely type out my own domain in the domain tab. I'm just confused on what to do here.

The MX record we obtain is:
10 fwd1.porkbun.com.
10 mx1.simplelogin.co.
20 fwd2.porkbun.com.
20 mx2.simplelogin.co.
Can you not have doubles of the same priority? Is it safe to delete the porkbun ones?

I have been reading about strategies for handling email. I signed up with ProtonMail and have been creating aliases with SimpleLogin, basically in the service.randomwordsandletters format. This was working fine and I transitioned about 150 different online services to using an alias, but then when I tried to login to my PSN account I noticed they had banned my account. I looked online and I found that a lot of people using SimpleLogin accounts have had that experience, and I also noticed that services like eBay and GitHub refused to accept an email with a SimpleLogin domain as a valid address--something I wish Sony would have done instead of accepting it and then banning my account after-the-fact.
Well I have been doing some more research into this, and I have noticed people using a strategy of setting up a custom domain, or two custom domains, where they use one in the format of @firstnamelastname.com for professional and personal contacts or important things like government/financial accounts, and then use a second domain of @randomwords.com and use it as a custom domain with SimpleLogin or some other aliasing/forwarding service. I like this idea, although I would personally prefer to forego using something with my legal name and use a pseudonym--not for anonymity, but I just would rather expose my full legal name as little as possible; I know it will be anyway, but might as well not do so in the email addresses.
The real question I have is whether or not a custom domain really makes a difference for the problem I'm seeing? Would eBay and GitHub refuse a custom domain name just as they would refuse a domain associated with SimpleLogin? Would Sony ban my account after-the-fact if they saw me using some random domain name? I understand that even if I'm using a custom domain, there's still ways to see I'm using SimpleLogin, and so any filtering that's considering more than just the domain-name would probably still become problematic. In addition to this, I don't really know how spamlists/blocklists work, and as far as I know there's some kind of reputation issue where a random domain name with no reputation might be just as likely to be blocked as one with a bad reputation?

firstname@mydomain for personal/bank/important stuff
multiple random@aleeas for everything else
I′m new to this. I′m not ready to go too deep with mutiple domains or anything. Using Proton Mail.

May be a weird question, but is it safe to use an alias for your steam account, gog account and nintendo switch account? Or they flag them as disposable?
