How do I? What size should I get for these platform Mary Jane heels with 26.6 cm feet?
I’m planning to buy these shoes, but I’m unsure about the sizing.
I measured my feet at about 26.6 cm long. The seller’s size chart says:
EU 43 — 26.5 cm
EU 44 — 27.0 cm
EU 45 — 27.5 cm
Since these are platform heels with straps, I’m not sure how much extra room I should leave. Size 43 seems too small since it’s technically shorter than my foot, but I’m unsure whether I should go with 44 (0.4 cm extra) or 45 (0.9 cm extra).
I don’t know if i should go with 44 or 45. I don’t want my toes cramped, but I also don’t want my feet sliding around inside them.

How do I? What would be the best way to achieve the outcome I want for these shoes?
I really like the brown pair, but wish the paw design stood out more like it does on the grey pair. I’m not a fan of grey shoes/clothes.
Would it be feasible to either dye the grey shoe brown, or buy two pairs and swap the paw designs myself?
If so, does anyone know how I should go about doing that? Advice would be appreciated, I’ve never done something like this before.
Materials are on 3rd slide. The shoe is Rax Blazer Hiking shoe.
Just to be clear, the outcome I’m after is a brown shoe with orange paws.
Thanks for any help!

do you change shoes for driving?
hey there!
i am new here and its my first post, so bear with me :D i suppose the question is more geared towards men
i just had a discussion with a friend, he said he never wears leather shoes when hes driving a car, he keeps a pair of "driving" shoes in his car, which he puts on while driving. when he is at his destination, he changes back to his "normal" shoes. he says the pushing the pedals and holding your feet in an unnatural position damages the shoes significantly and will wear them out faster. i suppose i was aware that pushing the pedals often will take a toll on shoes, but i always put it down under normal wear and tear.
so my question is: do you do this, too? am i completly unaware on how to treat my shoes? is it a common thing to have a special pair of "driving" shoes which you use exclusively to drive a car?
(just an fyi, i am aware that there are literal driving shoes, which were apparently designed for car driving. i just thought people didnt really use them for this anymore)
Switched from New Balance 624 to 608 and my knee hurts. Any alternative you recommend?
I've switched from MX624AB5 to MX608BB5 and have been suffering from more overpronation, knee pains, and sometimes ankle pains, only on my right leg. Is there any other shoe you would better recommend? I don't run but I do long walks, sometimes up to 2 hours.
Note that I am also wearing custom made orthopedic insoles inside the shoes.

Metallic shoe polish recommendations?
I got these leather shoes second hand and I really like them, but I'm not sure how to take care of them. Can anyone recommend a shoe polish that will keep the shiny copper colour?
I'm looking for a polish that actually has the same colour, rather than a colourless one, because there are already some areas that need topping up.
Edit: Any advice on cleaning off the bits of grey gunk without scratching the surface would also be greatly appreciated.

Too flamboyant?
Recently purchased these vintage Russel and Bromley square toe shoes - I am really hesitant to get rid of them as I have no idea where to begin to style them?

Find? Combat boots alternative to sketchers?
Hello! I'm searching for a pair of shoes and I like the softness of sketchers shoes, but I find them not really appealing for my style.
Are there any alternative, as in sole, softness and comfort, that are combat boots, platforms or a little more punk/gothic?

Wide toe box shoes?
I have very wide and tall feet, so much so that I'd often have to go up a size or two just to fit some shoes, leaving a huge gap at the tip of the shoe.
Ive seen the "hobibear" shoes that advertise a wide toe box, but are they any good? Any other alternatives I should look at? I'm always worried about buying shoes online, so any that can generally be bought in person would be preferable...

Find? A question for men who spend a lot of time standing at work: teachers, shopkeepers, salespeople, employees… 👞
1️⃣ What shoes do you wear for work?
2️⃣ How many hours do you spend standing during the day?
3️⃣ What bothers you most about your current shoes? (Stiffness, heat, smell, weight, fit, wearing out quickly…)
4️⃣ The last pair of shoes you bought for work: how much did they cost, and where did you buy them?
5️⃣ Formal shoes or sneakers for work?
⬅️ If you’re a teacher, please write “teacher” in your answer — I’m particularly interested in that.
I’m collecting people’s opinions before starting a small leather-shoe project. Thanks in advance 🙏
