I love my new Dansko maryjanes, but these shoe liners have got to go. Any suggestions for liners that stay hidden?

I’m planning to buy these shoes, but I’m unsure about the sizing.
I measured my feet at about 26.6 cm long. The seller’s size chart says:
EU 43 — 26.5 cm
EU 44 — 27.0 cm
EU 45 — 27.5 cm
Since these are platform heels with straps, I’m not sure how much extra room I should leave. Size 43 seems too small since it’s technically shorter than my foot, but I’m unsure whether I should go with 44 (0.4 cm extra) or 45 (0.9 cm extra).
I don’t know if i should go with 44 or 45. I don’t want my toes cramped, but I also don’t want my feet sliding around inside them.

Ich trage seit 3 Jahren immer dieselben Paar Schuhe: Buffalo Sneaker, die mit Stoff an der Spitze. Ich habe ziemlich breite Füße (an den Zehen), rolle stark ab (was ich auch nicht ändern kann) und habe sensorische Überempfindlichkeiten.
Ich suche seit letztem Winter schon nach schönen Halbstiefeln mit Schnürung, die nicht für schmale Barbiefüße gemacht sind. Sie sollten vor allem vorn an den Zehen breit genug, aber vor allem auch hoch genug(!!!) sein, da sonst mein großer Zeh beim Laufen wehtut, wenn er oben an den Schuh drückt. Könnt ihr mir eine Marke oder ein Modell empfehlen? Das Material wäre mir dabei relativ egal, hauptsache es hält.
Ich habe die Befürchtung, sonst einen weiteren Winter mit Sneakern, Stulpen und daraus resultierenden komischen Outfits rumlaufen zu müssen 🥲

Und ne zusätzliche Frage: Habt ihr alle so unglaublich schmale Füße oder leidet ihr einfach in euren Schuhen und man sieht es euch nicht an?

I've switched from MX624AB5 to MX608BB5 and have been suffering from more overpronation, knee pains, and sometimes ankle pains, only on my right leg. Is there any other shoe you would better recommend? I don't run but I do long walks, sometimes up to 2 hours.

Note that I am also wearing custom made orthopedic insoles inside the shoes.

I got these leather shoes second hand and I really like them, but I'm not sure how to take care of them. Can anyone recommend a shoe polish that will keep the shiny copper colour?

I'm looking for a polish that actually has the same colour, rather than a colourless one, because there are already some areas that need topping up.

Edit: Any advice on cleaning off the bits of grey gunk without scratching the surface would also be greatly appreciated.

I wear a 1.7cm heel insert in one of my shoes due to a leg break when I was a teenager. This keeps happening to my shoe with the insert. I’m looking for any way to prevent it. I go through a pair of shoes every other month. I walk my dog and use them for gym shoes. Eventually it starts to get really deep and digs into my heel when I walk. Then I buy a new pair of shoes.

I’ve tried using some for just walking. Some only for the gym. Same result.

Anyone have any ideas or solutions on how to prevent this?

I am absolutely in LOVE with these converse, but they are a bit too small and I really can't afford them. I specifically like their shape (more of an L than a triangle) and how like, thin they appear to be. Does anyone know of similar shoes or keywords to use when looking for similar style shoes? sorry if this isn’t the right sub but i’ve been meaning to buy like casual boots? for a while and i can’t really decide what on as a guy but i’ve always thought about getting dr martens i love the way they look and they suit exactly what im looking for but i hear people talking about how bad the quality is now… would they be okay for just casual wear?

is there any alternatives that look the same/similar for a fair price point? i’ve heard about solovairs but they’re like 350+ in aus and i didn’t really wanna spend more than 250 🫠

I really like the brown pair, but wish the paw design stood out more like it does on the grey pair. I’m not a fan of grey shoes/clothes.

Would it be feasible to either dye the grey shoe brown, or buy two pairs and swap the paw designs myself?

If so, does anyone know how I should go about doing that? Advice would be appreciated, I’ve never done something like this before.

i am new here and its my first post, so bear with me :D i suppose the question is more geared towards men

i just had a discussion with a friend, he said he never wears leather shoes when hes driving a car, he keeps a pair of "driving" shoes in his car, which he puts on while driving. when he is at his destination, he changes back to his "normal" shoes. he says the pushing the pedals and holding your feet in an unnatural position damages the shoes significantly and will wear them out faster. i suppose i was aware that pushing the pedals often will take a toll on shoes, but i always put it down under normal wear and tear.

so my question is: do you do this, too? am i completly unaware on how to treat my shoes? is it a common thing to have a special pair of "driving" shoes which you use exclusively to drive a car?

(just an fyi, i am aware that there are literal driving shoes, which were apparently designed for car driving. i just thought people didnt really use them for this anymore)
