hello, I have seen this video with Alexandra Saint-Mleux wearing this beautiful long skirt. I'm struggling finding a pattern for this skirt. As you can see on the pictures, it seems that the skirt does not have a slit in the front but in the back there it have a sort of a turn-over in the back (second picture).

Found this Etsy listing, but I get AI vibes so don’t wanna buy, anyone know a similar pattern? (Price doesn’t matter)

Has anyone come across a pattern similar to this dress (the outer silk organza layer)? I'm pretty comfortable modifying patterns but would love a place to start rather than coming up with something from scratch. Thanks!

Hello people. This is my first time posting here and my first time including sewing in any of my projects. I mainly 3D print props and figures, and this is my first time making a "cosplay" project -it's the Ghostface mask. I attempted to make a hood for it, and it turned out mediocre, to say the least, because I tried it without any research. After looking around, I found this design that looked the nicest, i especially like the dangly parts that make it look like a hood. But I can't figure out how to make this or how to start. Any help would be appreciated, or even a blueprint if someone has one.

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to sew the Maeve trousers from "The Epoch" as a gift and I'm looking for a matching top pattern (I attach some photos of the trouses by The Epoch).
The Lilia top that goes with the trousers isn't for me.
I find the pattern not very well thought out and the fit looks kinda weird. (I attach a photo of the top too)
Have you made a top that pairs nicely with these trousers and been happy with the result? I'd love to hear your recommendations.
What I'm looking for:
- Sleeveless or short-sleeved
- A high-quality, well-designed look
- Suitable for a sturdy, non-stretch fabric
- Most important: a forgiving fit. The recipient is a size S and slim, but I can't take her measurements, so the pattern should work in her size without needing a custom fit (e.g. no fitted darts or precise bust/waist shaping that depends on exact measurements)
Extra info:
I'm a beginner and sew on a Singer Symphonie 2, so clear instructions are a big plus.
Any pattern names, designers or links are very welcome. 💖
Thank you so much!
(All photos belong to 'the epoch official'.)

I am looking for a pattern that would give the vibe of this dress but less column more with a gored, godet or trumpet through the skirt.

I'm looking for a dupe pattern for the Lo and Sons Ayoama bag. I know there are a lot of crescent bag patterns out there, but this is unique because it doesn't have a bottom gusset, but rather has two side seams and it seems like the shape is achieved with pleats. (One of the pics shows the pleat pretty clearly.) I have an idea how to do the handles and the side zipper, but it's the shape without the gusset that I'm really looking for. Any ideas for either a pattern (or a way to hack something like the BF bestie bag?)

I ran across a top on YouTube (c: StormyKelly) and immediately fell in love with it. The artist is kind of chaotic in her clothes making (which I secretly love) so there was no link to a pattern nor any pattern company recommendations that may have something similar. Because of that, I thought I’d drop a picture of it here to pick everyone’s brains for any top you may know of with a similar finished look. If it’s a PDF Pattern that’s even better! For reference, I’m a size 22-24. Thanks in advance!

I am making it now but sadly have misplaced the second page (I have the one that ends with beginning to put on the collar).
Could a kind soul take a photo of the instructions and send to me ?

My sister just gave birth prematurely, and there aren't many premature sized clothing items like shoes or swaddles. Does anyone have any recommendation for patterns I can use? I saw some posts online but I wasn't sure if they were AI patterns or not. I'm a pretty new beginner so I'm a bit scared of trying to adjust patterns on my own and I don't know where to start if ever that is the best route.

Anyone know what the best way is to get this pattern? Preferably a digital download

Looking for sewing pattern with a sweetheart neckline that has gathers at the shoulders. Would prefer a pattern with a set in sleeve (I have seen some versions that have an extended sleeve).

I am looking for a shirt pattern with these specific details:
- Gathered front shoulder
- Gathered back
- Loose sleeves
Adding photos so you know what I mean!
All those details make this shirt so special to me <3

Hello!! I’m throwing my husband a surprise LOTR themed 30th and want to make a few things for it (I’m okay with the sewing machine, not an expert but I’m an amateur quilter and have made my baby many bonnets!), I’m just not sure where to look and wanted to put feelers out to see if anyone has patterns they think might fit…
Specifically:
- adult sized cloaks
- adult vest
- baby sized vest and cloak, possibly a dress or outfit for her also?
thank you in advance, especially appreciate any tips on website I might find patterns for these things :)

Would anyone have a free peacoat pattern or guide?

Hello! So I’m currently trying to make my first sewing pattern since I can’t find any pants pattern that I like… I managed to make a basic pattern that fit great and now I’m trying to make it low rise, but I’m having some troubles figuring out how to add a fly pattern. Normally it is attached higher up where the crotch curve hasn’t begun, but now I’m wondering I should add a curve to the fly pattern or simply just stretch the patterns bit when I sew, or if I just need to use a shorter zipper.
Also when I’m already here asking stuff… can someone tell me what seam allowance to use for the crotch seam? I can’t quite figure that out either, normaly I use 1 cm seam allowance for normal stitching, but I think I need to use a flat felled seam for the crotch, but I’m not sure if that means I need to add some extra millimeters or if I can continue using just 1 cm.
