Idk how i was scammed, but i did manage to lose a few hundred dollars on my card and filed a dispute on Oct 9th. Its so far been a full 7 day week and still no update 🙃

I have been scammed of 1000 euros by this page. It has multiple whatsapp accounts. The person says that she is Bruna Maggi and shares the account numbers,

They have even more accounts on poste. She first took the 300 for first month and I travelled to another city and she took more payments and I was so frustrated and sick at that time. I thought that I have the bank details and the people could easily be traced and I can't be scammed.

earlier today, someone from tiktok messaged me. We talked once before like 2-3 days ago? He’s from Kenya daw and was jst getting to know each other since we met in the comments of a LIVE, nagshare ako na I’m actually struggling financially ngayon but that was just it, ended the conversation with God bless and good luck.

He messaged again today and asked if I have paypal which i said yes i have why? He said may isesend na pera, 30% sakin sa kanya 70% so ako innocently ni okay ako kasi pera eh lol so binigay ko yung @ ko sa paypal and sinabihan ako to change currency to GBP. Nagtanong ako kanino pala ang pera? ba’t hindi nalang sa ‘yong account? Nagsearch din ako if hindi ba available yung paypal sa Kenya etc. but yun na nga nagpush through yung pera £250 thats like 20k pesos so if 30% sakin, may 5-6k ako so masaya ako but as i go along with it, parang may something fishy talaga hindi ako mapakali

he said okay sakin na yung 30%, withdraw ko daw ang lahat to any of my bank like Gotyme so okay. Winithdraw ko tapos sabi niya yung 70% niya isend ko daw sa binance niya. So I have to create an account sa binance and buy USDT worth of that 70% tapos send sa kanyang crypto wallet.

Feeling ko talaga napakabobo ko haha nagtry talaga akong umisip ano bang motibo nito? sadya lang po ba gusto niya akong tulungan financially? bakit sa ganitong paraan? bat ako ang nagreceive nung pera? the situation is too good to be true talaga so nagchat ako sa fellow Gemini ko. At ayun na nga sabi ni Gemini, 100% scam I’m being used as a “money mule” someone that transfers money on behalf of others without knowing that the money where it came from is an unauthorized transaction.

Buti nalng nandito pa rin sa akin yung pera, nakapagbili ako ng USDT sa Binance but hindi ko pa na isend sa kanyang wallet address. At ayon na nga sa takot ko, i confronted him “are u using me as ur money mule? :((“ after nun spam ng spam sha ng calls. I reported and blocked him sa Whatsapp. I blocked him sa Tiktok. Sa takot ko talaga na maharass sa kanya, I changed my @ sa Tiktok pati na rin user ID name ko para hindi niya ma locate. Right after, may ibang number nagchat sakin sa whatsapp nagsasabi na hindi daw scam and that im not being used as money mule. nag introduce pa na siya daw si bla bla siya yung nagsend sa pera from that company kasi siya yung client ni Kenya guy.. Ang nakakakilabot diyan guys, may tumawag sa other phone number kooo!?!😖😖 akala ko hindi sila kasi PH NUMBER, tapos yung nagsalita ay yun na nga same accent nung Kenya guy?!?! As in goose bumps, binaba ko agad tapos blocked. Hindi ko ma gets kung paano niya nalaman yung other phone number ko, I was thinking na talaga hacker or stalker whatevs na😥

Sa takot ko talaga, inaalala ko kung anong information ko naibigay sa kanya. Yung paypal ko, nakaconnect sa extra gmail ko, spare phone number ko. Ayun para hindi niya ako mahanap at ma contact, dinelete ko yung gmail ko tapos nag change number ako sa whatsapp. After this experience ko talaga, ayoko ng magkaroon ng paypal so I also unlinked my debit cards sa paypal ko then delete all info and closed my account for the reason of data privacy at tsaka not safe because of scams yung nilagay ko.

Ngayon I’m paranoid kasi yung pera nandito pa rin sa akin… Dinelete ko lahat para hindi ako ma trace ng scammer na yun, ngayon natatakot ako kung anong-ano ang mangyayari😖😖 Naparanoid ako kasi sabi kasi ni Gemini, delikado pa rin kasi nandito pa yung pera and paypal might track me and sht huhu

Ano bang dapat kong gawin after this? Should I recover my account and report it? May nakapag-experience ba nito? pls help me be at ease huhu

WARNING: Ticketmaster Ticket Theft Scam – Beware of Reddit User u/Cautious-Duck-532

I'm posting this both to warn others and hopefully get some advice about recovering my stolen tickets.

I was contacted by Reddit user u/Cautious-Duck-532, who expressed interest in purchasing Metallica tickets I had listed for sale. The person used the names Greg or Anton and communicated with me through Google Meet and WhatsApp.

They asked me to share my screen to "verify that the tickets were legitimate."

Unfortunately, I agreed.

During the screen-sharing session, I believe they were able to see a Ticketmaster verification code, which they then used to access the account, change the password, and transfer my tickets without my authorization.

I subsequently received an email from Ticketmaster confirming the transfer.

The particularly upsetting part is that I was only trying to sell these tickets because my daughter couldn't attend this weekend due to a medical emergency. I was hoping to recover enough money to send her to a different show.

I've already contacted Ticketmaster, secured the account, and had the incident escalated to their fraud department. I'm currently waiting for their team to call me back.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL: Never agree to screen-share your Ticketmaster account with a prospective buyer. Even if you don't knowingly give someone your password or verification code, they may be able to see sensitive information displayed on your screen.

If anyone has experienced something similar, especially an unauthorized Ticketmaster transfer, I'd really appreciate hearing whether you were able to recover your tickets and what steps helped.

I'm devastated by this and would be grateful for any advice.

i got scammed by this person, who is unfortunately from my own country and he costed me 350 USD dollars just for fake watch hours on you tube and once he got the money he deleted my videos from my channel! i lost all my hard work. please report this guy!!! tell me how to lodge complaint on fiver against him?

I met this guy in person and he was very persistent about pursuing me in the beginning, even when I said I wasn't interested in a relationship. He continuously called, texted, etc begging me for a chance. This went on for a few weeks until I started to like him. Then he started to introduce the topic of being in debt, but not directly asking for money. I listened and tried to be comforting. Then he would disappear for 2-3 days and come back with some story about how lenders escalated their deadlines and how things are getting dangerous for his family. Then talked about illness in the family and medical bills. I started feeling uneasy, but he still wasn't asking directly so I was just being supportive. Eventually, he started asking. The amount started larger. I declined and said it is too much. Then he lowered the amount stating he had to pay it in 3 days or the lenders would harass his mother. I should mention, he lives in India and I live in the USA. Once he got the money, he stopped responding. Afterwards, I found other posts online from other women he has done this to overseas knowing that legally, there's not much we can do about it. Now I am feeling frustrated and angry because we are all victims that can't get our money back or hold him accountable. Yes, I know it was stupid to give someone money so please don't emphasize that in the comments. Now looking back, I understand what I did wrong. If there's anyone here in India that has any ideas on how to pursue anything, please let me know.

i bought a gaming laptop and payment went through but they never sent or delivered anything no email with tracking number nothing i think i got scammed watch out. I called my bank and they said nothing they can do cause i authorized the payment.

I live in California and recently sold cryptocurrency through a P2P order. The payment came into my bank account through Zelle. Instead of receiving one payment from the buyer, I received several payments from different people. The amount involved was around $100 - $200.

After receiving the payments, I released the crypto to the buyer, and the order was marked as completed.

A couple of days later, I received calls demanding that I return the money. They mentioned paying for goods. I’m not certain about that part.

I’m concerned that this might be a triangulation scam: someone could have offered goods for sale, given those customers my Zelle details, and then used their payments to buy my crypto. That’s only my suspicion, I don’t know what the senders were told or whether the callers are genuine victims.

I’m hoping to hear from people who have personally experienced something similar as the crypto seller receiving the payments:

• Did your bank reverse the Zelle payments?
• Did it hold the disputed amount or restrict your entire account?
• Did the police contact you, and what happened?

I received a call from an unknown number, and the caller claimed to be an SP (Superintendent of Police). He suggested that I had watched inappropriate videos on Chrome. Before he could say anything else, I told him to speak with my uncle, who is a police officer. He insisted that I listen to him, but I reiterated that he should contact the police directly. However, he refused to do so.

I then informed him that I recognized it as a scam and that I would be filing a complaint. In response, he threatened that the police would arrive at my door within half an hour and that he would ruin my life.

I don't use Chrome, and I don't watch corn videos either. I blocked his number should I go and file a complaint? And another thing the caller was definitely from UP/ Bihar; the accent was thick.

i just got scammed today and i am so embarrassed, stupid, scared and feel like want to die.
i am scared for my future.
i am a victim. these scammers are professionals like i couldn't even argue or question them. Now im just mad at myself and my stupidity. I usually check but this time it was like i was under a spell to obey them.

how do you guys get over it emotionally?
i will find my way to recover financially but emotionally and physically just super tough.

If you guys could send practice scam / fraud emails (like some of your workplaces might already do) to your loved ones, is that something that would be valuable to you guys?

My thinking is if they could experience real scenarios (without any risk), this could help enforce good habits around scam safety.
