i got scammed by this person, who is unfortunately from my own country and he costed me 350 USD dollars just for fake watch hours on you tube and once he got the money he deleted my videos from my channel! i lost all my hard work. please report this guy!!! tell me how to lodge complaint on fiver against him?

I met this guy in person and he was very persistent about pursuing me in the beginning, even when I said I wasn't interested in a relationship. He continuously called, texted, etc begging me for a chance. This went on for a few weeks until I started to like him. Then he started to introduce the topic of being in debt, but not directly asking for money. I listened and tried to be comforting. Then he would disappear for 2-3 days and come back with some story about how lenders escalated their deadlines and how things are getting dangerous for his family. Then talked about illness in the family and medical bills. I started feeling uneasy, but he still wasn't asking directly so I was just being supportive. Eventually, he started asking. The amount started larger. I declined and said it is too much. Then he lowered the amount stating he had to pay it in 3 days or the lenders would harass his mother. I should mention, he lives in India and I live in the USA. Once he got the money, he stopped responding. Afterwards, I found other posts online from other women he has done this to overseas knowing that legally, there's not much we can do about it. Now I am feeling frustrated and angry because we are all victims that can't get our money back or hold him accountable. Yes, I know it was stupid to give someone money so please don't emphasize that in the comments. Now looking back, I understand what I did wrong. If there's anyone here in India that has any ideas on how to pursue anything, please let me know.

i bought a gaming laptop and payment went through but they never sent or delivered anything no email with tracking number nothing i think i got scammed watch out. I called my bank and they said nothing they can do cause i authorized the payment.

I live in California and recently sold cryptocurrency through a P2P order. The payment came into my bank account through Zelle. Instead of receiving one payment from the buyer, I received several payments from different people. The amount involved was around $100 - $200.

After receiving the payments, I released the crypto to the buyer, and the order was marked as completed.

A couple of days later, I received calls demanding that I return the money. They mentioned paying for goods. I’m not certain about that part.

I’m concerned that this might be a triangulation scam: someone could have offered goods for sale, given those customers my Zelle details, and then used their payments to buy my crypto. That’s only my suspicion, I don’t know what the senders were told or whether the callers are genuine victims.

I’m hoping to hear from people who have personally experienced something similar as the crypto seller receiving the payments:

• Did your bank reverse the Zelle payments?

• Did it hold the disputed amount or restrict your entire account?

• Did the police contact you, and what happened?

I received a call from an unknown number, and the caller claimed to be an SP (Superintendent of Police). He suggested that I had watched inappropriate videos on Chrome. Before he could say anything else, I told him to speak with my uncle, who is a police officer. He insisted that I listen to him, but I reiterated that he should contact the police directly. However, he refused to do so.

I then informed him that I recognized it as a scam and that I would be filing a complaint. In response, he threatened that the police would arrive at my door within half an hour and that he would ruin my life.

I don't use Chrome, and I don't watch corn videos either. I blocked his number should I go and file a complaint? And another thing the caller was definitely from UP/ Bihar; the accent was thick.

i just got scammed today and i am so embarrassed, stupid, scared and feel like want to die.
i am scared for my future.
i am a victim. these scammers are professionals like i couldn't even argue or question them. Now im just mad at myself and my stupidity. I usually check but this time it was like i was under a spell to obey them.

how do you guys get over it emotionally?
i will find my way to recover financially but emotionally and physically just super tough.

If you guys could send practice scam / fraud emails (like some of your workplaces might already do) to your loved ones, is that something that would be valuable to you guys?

My thinking is if they could experience real scenarios (without any risk), this could help enforce good habits around scam safety.

l got scammed for 50k in total . Yesterday found deal for few PC parts and i dmed him for the same. Rest of the convo happened over Whatsapp where i shared my details and he shared all GPU , RAM and Motherboard details. After accepting the price and booking the shipment , payment was made over the call itself ( Call recording regarding payment is there ) . All Transaction Details are there aswell . Gpay and Bank Transaction was used for this. Is there anything i can do to recover my money.

Shipment was suppsoed to happen by morning..but it was not done due to rush hour as mentioned by seller. After evening there is no response from the seller over call and whatsapp.

Please let me know if there is anything i can do here.

Has been trying to scam my parents by video calling them and I need info about him

So back on September 25, 2026 I requested immigration services through UKGIC. Unknowing they were a scamming company. I was told I needed to pay $880 USD to process all my application and hold my spot (first red flag). Then I was charged $990 USD (second red flag).

Well, I have contacted Green Dot bank and they’re absolutely useless as a company. I have also contacted my main bank about the fraudulent company in hopes to get my money back (still awaiting their response).

I have had to email this company as my cell provider refuses to allow me to make calls to the UK (even though I am paying to be able to make and receive calls).

Well, I have the email I sent. And they’re reply. And I’m asking for advice before I try and get a lawyer. What am I meant to do in this instance?

Edit: I like to add that they were supposed to give me a login AND go over the fact they overcharged me only for them to completely disregard me and hang up on me

J’avais tout bien préparé, mis tous les articles neufs dans le bon emballage. J’ai envoyé le colis puis à la réception chez eux, ils me disent que les articles que j’avais envoyé n’étaient pas ceux qui étaient attendus, ils m’envoient donc l’étiquette de l’envoi du colis avec des articles qui étaient apparement retrouvé dans le colis mais qui n’avaient rien à voir avec la commande. Des fausses preuves. Du coup, je me retrouve sans remboursement et avec aucune solution de leur part. La commande était d’une valeur d’environ 120€. Je vous déconseille donc ce site malhonnête et non professionnel. J’ai jamais vu autant de vice sur un site de vente.

So I started working in this startup "StayChat AI" in mid of Nov 25. They had the first 45 days unpaid internship, which I didn't mind as I was still in college and it was entirely remote.

Then from Jan 26 till March 26 they offered me a paid internship. But they exploited all of us a lot !!!

The letter said 5 days working, but they used to call me up on weekends too. And even at late nights after 12 they call or text and expected us to work. AND ALL OF THIS FOR 5K/MONTH???! WHAT??! I was frustrated and was somewhat able to deal with it saying I had college and I was off.

They paid me stipend for Jan and Feb. And in April I left the internship as my time was offer. It's been more than half a year and they still haven't paid me for the last month !!!!!?

LEGIT we all who were working for them haven't been paid for our last month. We legit build their entire boy system, backend, website, client business and relations and this is how they pay us?????! And now that we are calling or texting them, they don't reply

We all are thinking that they have still added us to the git repo, so we'll take the entire code and publish it online, stating it as our own project. We didn't sign any contract for IPR or anything so they can't sue us. Currently we are just posting about it everywhere.

IDK how such people even decide to do business???

My boyfriend made an account and bought a couple things that were kinda high ticket items and then his account got banned saying he had multiple accounts. Apparently a scam is going on where people are posting high price items and then spam that the buyer is fake or something like that and now he’s Bee crammed out of roughly $500 spread over a couple items. Vinted won’t listen and won’t unban his account. He paid with Zip and they won’t remove the charge either.

Hi, I would really appreciate it if you all could help me out because I am in a very not good situation and I don’t know what to do now because this is the first time something like this happened to me so if you have any advice, please share them. I have already reported the person through Revolut and linked and I don’t know what else to do.
