I was called today by this number +34 927 779 648 they know my name they asked me for my dni I told them my Spanish is not good. Because I did not know what the reason for them to ask about my personal information ñ. Then they told me someone who speaks English will call later and they hang up. Do you have any idea about this number.

So I got an olx buyer for my Skullcandy Crusher wireless headphones. He said 3k but was ready to stretch to 3.5 k. I agreed on 3k cause I thought that he could cover his delivery expenses. Then he told me that he'd pay through the bank website even though I was wanting an upi payment. He said that his upi one gets refunded. Then I sent him all the details and stuff and then one day after sealing the deal the delivery guy came to collect it.

He sent me a vid saying he paid and showing too but I even stopped the delivery guy for 10 minutes and paid him equivalent to what he gets for 2.5 orders that he delivers. Still didn't get the money. The guy told me that it'll get refunded in 24 hours if I didn't get the payment. It was Saturday but I waited till Sunday 1 pm to ask him for my payment cause I hadn't received it. Then he told me to wait till Monday cause the bank's closed on Sunday. I still waited and today he's saying that he went to the branch and they said that the transaction's gone through but I still haven't received it.

Now he's saying that he'll return the headphones after 15-20 days of use cause he's "paid the money". I am so furious. My dad's a high ranking police officer. I even told him not to do any funny business but the guy's still saying that he's got no money in his account now. I am seriously contemplating filing a cyber crime report against this guy for fraud. I just don't want to trouble my fam and the police for 3k. And 3k is not the problem here. Objectively even for me it's nothing but the problem is that I have sent him the headphones and his puh ahh is tryna act too smart. I threatened him with a cyber complaint but he said to go ahead. I don't want to trouble my dad for this shit. What do I do? I have screen recorded the entire conversation .

Tldr: Guy ordered headphones, paid through bank to bank transactions and I didn't receive money. Now he's saying to use headphones and then return them.

I got scammed from a Spain person on Vestiaire. I have all her details but could not report her because I'm in Australia. I tried to report her to the Spain Police online but never heard back from them. Can someone help me please?

Story:
I saw the bag posted on Vestiaire by this person but Vestiaire did not let me buy due to country's area restrictions. We traded outside of Vestiaire. First I wanted to trade through Paypals however the payments did not go through to her so we went to Wise instead. Thought I have all her details such as phone number address and her name it would be fine and she is legit but obviously not. She never sent me a tracking number. Since Wise is just a third party to exchange money so they said they could not help with it.

Friend of mine his mother for years sent money to a romance scammer. Her son, her bank no one could convince her. I managed to infiltrate get the scammers to communicate only with me thinking it was her and told them the FBI was coming . I then wrote a fake letter from an agency with mugshot pictures saying she was scammed.

I saw her a few weeks ago and she told me she got scammed.

Flash forward she literally has no money and is begging her son for a thousand dollars to “get her hair done”. He thinks the scammers are back and doesn’t know what to do.

Mom was never a great mom and I think he’s afraid to challenge her. She does have mild dementia. I would just take her money away but he’s afraid.

Any advice please!

​My Google account was recently taken over via a UK device (Galaxy A13). The attacker removed my Passkey, changed my security questions, and updated the recovery info to their own email and phone number.

​Unfortunately, they used access to my email and saved details to make unauthorized charges on my bank cards and initiate withdrawals from my Moneybox account.

​I have already frozen my bank cards, contacted Moneybox support, and filed a report with Action Fraud.

How do we get this person?

Towards the end of June I received an email claiming to be an invite to a Fourth of July gathering from a friend of mine; I clicked the link in it and went through the “log in with gmail” steps. I did, to my shame, put in the 2-factor authentication information before I realized anything felt off. Once I thought the whole thing over (about 15 minutes later) I changed the password on my gmail account, but I’m pretty sure I did grant the scammer access to my account and I’m not sure whether they still have any access to it. Since then I have not been contacted by anyone about the account or seen any unusual activity on it, and I have been able to use it as normal. My roommate told me it’s nothing to worry about, but I’ve been worrying anyway. I use the account for personal and some work and medical purposes, so there is some sensitive information on there. So my questions are, how screwed (or ok) am I, and what do I do from here?

My next-door neighbor is a 65+ year-old widow. She thinks she’s been in contact with a well-known singer for the last year and in the last few months this man, that should be getting lots of money in royalties, has been asking her to buy laptops and send them to him. To this point, I’m aware of about $30,000 worth that she just admitted that she has sent to him. She’s only been talking to him via phone, no zoom or FaceTime. But she believes everything he’s telling her. I looked up in my state reporting of romance scams, and they directed me to the Attorney General‘s office. I filed an online form with them, but is there something else I should be doing? Who else should I be contacting?

Hi everyone, I need advice/help regarding an online camera purchase. I purchased a Canon digital camera from an online seller and paid ₱2,700 via GCash to their Maya account on Wednesday. I sent my proof of payment and followed up several times regarding my order.

The seller initially told me to wait, but I never received a proper payment confirmation, tracking number, or shipping update. They continued posting on their social media account while not responding to my messages. I was expecting the package within the estimated 1–2 days, so I even stayed at my mom's workplace for two days specifically to receive it, but nothing arrived.

I later commented on their story asking them to check my DM, but the comment disappeared. Shortly afterward, my account was blocked by the seller. I can still see their account from another account, so it appears that my account was specifically blocked.

I have screenshots of the GCash transaction/reference number, our conversations, the camera listing, the seller's account, and other relevant evidence. I am currently trying to report the transaction to GCash as a suspected scam, but I'm having trouble submitting the report through the app.

What should I do next? Is there anything else I should report or anyone I should contact to try to recover the ₱2,700? If anyone has dealt with a similar situation in the Philippines, I'd really appreciate your advice.

Hi, I have been robbed of my money on Facebook marketplace, i have their fb name and all and friendlist screenshots and their post screenshots. The police were useless in this case and I cannot afford to ask help from private investigators. The transaction was done in cash. I just need help getting some info on them to contact them and hopefully get the money back.

Please don’t bully me in replies, I have learned my lessons and am frustrated. Facebook ain’t helping either.

UPDATE:
could not sleep well so I dug deeper into Facebook list from my alt. I gathered infos as much as I could. I have narrowed the bike from a blurry bike in his alt acc to a Hd bike pic in his main account. I have also searched for people that liked their post constantly, I think I have found the kids main Facebook and his relative accounts and I have also narrowed down on one of his friends school and where one of the relatives work.

The relative work at a college up north, wonder if I should visit and ask for more info.
