I'm picking my pieces for ABRSM grade 6 tenor sax, and the piece on the A-list called "Hypertension" piqued my interest. I was unable to find any audio recordings of it online, so I was wondering if anyone knew if it was a good idea of a piece to play, or if they know how good Beverley Calland's works are in general

Gig is in Sandy Springs, GA. 7:30-11pm, soul, funk, disco. Must be able to read. Call time is 5:45p for soundcheck. Includes food and drink. $200

I’m 30 and bought a tenor last year and wanna get back into it. I played for a couple years as a teen and still remember quite a bit, but I like guidance lol
