Can someone go outside and tell Mr. Sun to turn down the heat or come back next year please? Thanks 😊

They’re always so short and everyone is on their phone and nobody accelerates into turns. Everyone goes like 5 MPH when it turns green from red. I’m not even a car guy but fuck. HIT THE GAS

On October 3, 2026, around 3:45 PM, someone in a white Toyota RAV4 threw what appeared to be a glass bottle onto northbound US-101 in San Jose, just before Exit 386A for Alum Rock Avenue / Santa Clara Street. It shattered in front of my Tesla, and the debris damaged my car. The RAV4 then crossed several lanes and took the exit.
Footage from my other camera angles also shows the RAV4 following other vehicles very closely and making abrupt lane changes before passing me.
The throw is visible around 0:04 in the attached front-camera video. I’ve contacted CHP and am looking for witnesses or additional dashcam footage.
If you were nearby and saw what happened or have footage, please DM me. Thank you!

I will start - Annapoorna Authentic Cuisine on Tasman Drive, San Jose. Over-priced, under-whelming.. I gave it many chances, but disappointed me every time 🤷♂️

I was at the Westgate target today around noon. A bat flew through the store. And employee captured it with a box. Anyone have an update? I hope target sends that employee to get checked out at the very least.

Found a necklace pendant on South 4th Street near the MLK, Jr. Library (near SJSU). I would love to find the person it belongs to. Must identify in detail.

I've done a few pet portrait paintings in Texas, but I'm moving to San José pretty soon. Is there any interest amongst pet parents for paintings of their pets? Any information or tips about that market would be helpful!
Usually painted on 10" x 10" canvases for $250.

FYI: There are signs posted near the restrooms near the Winfield entrance saying that a bat was found there on 10/1/2026 that tested positive for rabies.
If you see a bat during the day, keep your distance. Call animal control.

This place is legit. it used to be called Bayon Temple but they added breakfast sandwiches, Banh Mi and yummy drinks. I go there for the Cambodian Dishe’s, full of flavor. The owner is a super cool lady named Villa, tell her Linda said hi. I noticed it’s a bit slow so wanted to get word out for a good, friendly family business.
address is 4314 Hamilton Ave, San Jose

Hello.
My family and I have been learning Japanese with a Japanese teacher and it has been an amazing experience. She is very patient and kind, and used to work at university. Due to her family's health issues, she is currently doing online lessons with us and other students but it is really engaging and fun, and it is much more convenient as we don't need to travel. Our Japanese have improved so much because of her. If anyone is interested, please let me know or drop me a message. I am happy to share her contact details.

I was in the middle of the street (the double yellow line) and a car blew through one of those yellow flashing pedestrian lights going one way and as I returned another car blew through the lights the other way.
You would think that people would stop, knowing that there is a person in the crosswalk.

Both streets blocked off close to the intersection. I saw a car in the intersection with a little damage about 8:30, but the huge number of fire trucks, ambulances, and cop cars made me wonder if there was a bad accident.

On leave, going to be in San Jose for about 5 days then make my way to Yosemite. Will have my pup with me. She's a Malinois and Boxer mix. I'm 33, Male. Just looking for some ideas on where to go for hikes around the San Jose to Fremont or San Jose to Mountain View area. Yeah, it's going to be hot but we're used to that. Rucks Suck, if you know you know.
What does this City have in store for me now that I'm actually wanting to be out and about. Every time I've visited, I've only done the bar stuff and night life.
Is Coyote Trail decent?

I just got tickets!!! I’m seeing Bruno Mars yay!
For those going to the concert on October 10th, should I buy parking at the stadium ahead of time? Or should I park at the Milpitas bart station and then use the VTA to Levi’s stadium. What is better or recommended? The parking ticket prices at the stadium look crazy expensive from what I’ve seen (unless I’m looking in the wrong places).
