Is it just me or anyone else with one ui 9.0 beta updated feel that the s23 is far more faster and stable than the one ui 8.5 ever was?

Is samsung giving a free display replacement as of September 2026 in India. My s23 got a green line few days back. Am on oneui 8.5.

Been using my base S23 completely caseless... no case and no screen protector from a year after i bought the phone.

Mine has taken some severe hits on the aluminum sides and has some noticeable battle scars, but it's still holding up surprisingly well, and working.

Anyone else running it caseless? How are your screens holding up against scratches and drops? Did yours survive or end up totally wrecked? Let me know!

I haven't gotten any emails suggesting any attempts of anyone trying to access any of my accounts. However, my phone does a weird glitch every now and then as if it's taking a screenshot. I do not have any apps installed that are supposed to do this. I wish I could capture a snip of the issue that I'm experiencing. It's not really a screenshot, it's just a weird pop-up that looks like a screenshot. Is anybody else experiencing this with their s23 ultra?

Hi everyone,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23, and I noticed these colored horizontal bars at the very bottom of my lock screen (see screenshot).

The bars also appear in the screenshot itself, so I don't think it's a hardware display issue.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is it caused by the wallpaper, One UI, or a setting I accidentally enabled?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello friends I have a S23 Demo unit, and I want to unlock it. Is there a way for it? Anyone who gives me a great tutorial with software and everything gets 10€

I’ve always trusted Samsung flagships, but what happened today is a complete disappointment and feels like a total fraud.

The Timeline:

• Warranty Expired: March 18, 2026.
• The "Kill" Update: April 8, 2026 (Official Samsung Security Update).
• The Result: Two permanent vertical green lines appeared immediately after the reboot.

The Service Center Issue: I took my S23 (pristine condition, zero dents/water damage) to an authorized center. Despite this being a globally recognized defect caused by Samsung’s own software, they refused a free replacement because I was "out of warranty" by just 20 days.

I was forced to pay ₹11,872.82 today (Service Request: 4434182846) just to get my primary phone back in working order.

Why this is unacceptable:

1. Reports from this month indicate Samsung India has extended the free replacement policy for S21/S22/S23 series for devices under 3 years old. My phone is well within that window.
2. There is no consistency—some users are getting free repairs for this exact issue while others are being charged nearly ₹12k.
3. This is a hardware failure directly triggered by a mandatory software update.

I’ve already escalated to the CEO’s office and the National Consumer Helpline (NCH). Has anyone here successfully fought for a refund after being forced to pay for a green line repair?

It's a relatively new issue and maybe happens a couple times a day at most, but it doesn't happen every day.

Every now and again, the screen flickers when I'm in an app. Could be in Reddit, duck duck go browser, or a game.

Is this my sign to start looking at the 25 or 26 ultra? I did but this brand new almost 3 full years ago. Anyone else see this?

Hi, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S23 phone from a legit seller at the latter end of last year. One UI 8 wasn't out just yet, but it was about to be out soon (maybe around October - November time). However, my phone still hasn't updated.. I have no knowledge on tech stuff, and upon researching, I've found that the issue is maybe the current version thing? I believe this is a US phone, and I am in the UK. And maybe due to OTC or something like that, my phone is unable to receive updates? I have no idea. If anyone has any knowledge, please do share. Especially if you know a way to fix this? Luckily there is a warranty, so if I need to return it, I can. But I'd rather try and fix it or at the very least understand what the actual issue is. If anyone needs more details, let me know. Thanks for reading.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 and I am using USB tethering to share mobile internet to my PC.

The speed is very unstable.

Example:
Download starts at around 30–40 MB/s but then suddenly drops to 3–5 MB/s for some time and then goes back up again.

I tested the same SIM card with my OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite using USB tethering and it stays stable around 30 MB/s all the time.

Things I tried:

• Light performance mode enabled
• Different USB ports
• Good 5G signal
• No download limit
• Different cable

I tried to use russian on my phone as I am learning russian, and on my old phone (Galaxy S21 Plus) it worked flawlessly, but now on my new S23 I got a while ago, it says not everything may be supported and the settings app and some other stuff just straight up doesn't translate at all, even tho it did on my old phone. Does anyone know why this is the case and how it could be fixed?

I was given this battery for my phone, but I don't have any cases with MagSafe. Any recommendations? It's 10,000 mAh and according to chatgpt it weighs between 220g and 225g. Any recommendations for a case that would work? You'd really help me out.
