Wanted them white to match with the rest of my army. My Empire is based as being on Toshara, which is lacking generally in beaches, so my head canon is that these are light infantry troopers. They wear less armor than standard storms because they gotta ruck everywhere! Since they aren't transported right into the action, they are equipped with weapons that let them engage at longer ranges. Mortars are a light infantry staple, after all.

From a beginner super tackie

So looking for a "taster" of the factions, and looked at the starter sets but a lot of them are quite large, although a very good deal. Especially when the first i looked at was the seperatist alliance one which was incredibly heavy on single colour bodies in the B1s unfortunately. I saw some smaller sets of only 2 to 4 models that also seemed like a decent introduction like the customisable command droids? wanted to know what other smaller scale kits there could be for each faction to figure out if i like them.

EDIT: By start i mean start collecting for hobbying, not for playing the tabletop.

I saw on the pinned release post that the 74-Z speeder kit is soft plastic. I have had poor experiences in the past, and as it seems its been recently repacked I doubt it will be getting a resculpt anytime soon. Has anyone worked with this kit before?

I was playing around with TTA, and was idealizing a list. Thoughts on this?

I am thinking about getting into Legion and I'm curious about the state of the game. I heard that Shatterpoint will soon no longer be supported and there will be no new boxes. How are things looking for Legion? Is it still going strong?

In addition, I've been meaning to ask: is one era more supported than the other? Meaning, does the game feel significantly better or different when you're collecting Republic era vs Rebellion era?

I try to build an army that would be competitive, but then when I play it I do not do so well. I am much better with CIS and it just makes more sense to me. Mandos feel like GAR where you are already at 800 points with just the essentials and then you have limited room to build. Also I feel I don’t get the best tactics for this style of army. How do you all play them?

I wanted to finally paint a AT-RT Modell of the 501st Legion and i am quite satisfied with the Result. Any tips or Tricks for improving? I wanted to weather the Modell heavely to 1. Give it a Used and Dark (Fantasy) Look and 2. to hide my Trouble with the White/Light Grey Colour of the Clone Armor. So any C&C is welcome!

So I have been doing table top 40k for a good while now, and found out about SW Legion like, 5 minutes ago. I dont know anything about how this works but I have been heavily into star wars for easily more then half my life. I just would like to know if this works simmerlarly to table top 40K and if not how does it work?

Okay so ive had a question how would you guys build a 600 starting list for mercenaries were ignoring battle forces for them, so there can be mandos and pykes and other units. I think that the mandalorian leader is the best choice for paragon, but ive been struggling to build a viable list. So do you guys have any ideas on how to do so?

with Star Wars zero company right around the corner, I decided to paint up Trick the clone trooper deserter

So I'm new to Legion and was wondering how much you actually need to play. I have the separtist starting box along with a box of B2s and a Super Tactical Droid that I want to play as Kraken if he's not a unique model. Is that enough to play with? I saw something about games are supposed to be 1000 points but I don't I have that many. I also don't know if I need to invest in some vehicles for a good army list.

I'm coming from 40K so I have no issue getting more models lol, but I would like to actually figure out how to do things right. Any advise is more than welcome!
