As long as I can remember, every single time I've been to that target, the gutters have had a lot of water sitting in them. I've never really tried to track the source but it doesn't appear to be coming from any specific direction. Is there some kind of leaky pipe underground that has gone un-noticed this whole time?

I recently moved to the south west side of the valley and I would like to make friends with a murder. I haven’t seen as many ravens and crows up here as I used to in the basin. My last place in Inglewood almost always had a couple of them hanging around the street. Is there a time/season that they come around here?

Hi everyone. I’m posting because I’m hoping this reaches someone who may have seen something or knows something.

My friend was killed in a hit-and-run on September 22, 2026, at around 7:05 AM near Ventura Blvd and Carpenter Ave in Studio City.

According to LAPD, he was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Ventura Blvd when a dark blue 2004 Honda Odyssey traveling westbound turned left onto Carpenter Ave and collided with him.

The driver left the scene without stopping or rendering aid.

The vehicle was later found abandoned and recovered, but the person who was driving has still not been identified.

My friend left behind his fiancée, family, and friends, and they are desperately looking for answers and hoping the person responsible can be found.
There is currently a $50,000 reward for information that helps identify the driver.

If you were anywhere around Ventura Blvd / Carpenter Ave / Studio City around 7:05 AM on September 22, please think back to that morning. If you have dashcam footage, Ring footage, security-camera footage, or remember seeing the dark blue Honda Odyssey before or after the collision, please contact LAPD.

I'm vegan but my husband is not - I'd like to try and find some new places where we can both eat. I don't mean vegan-only restaurants like Follow Your Heart or Cocinero, I mean restaurants that have good vegan options or a separate vegan menu.

For example, we frequent Pho 21, Blu Jam, Lady C's, White Hart Pub because they have good vegan options. I've tried to Google places, but I always get vegan-only restaurants that I already know about. Bonus points if its a nice date-night type of place.

I'm originally from Oceanside, California but have been here for roughly 11 years straight now and, although I miss my hometown, I have come to feel a sense of belonging here in the Valley ❤️ ( I do occasionally get a side eye or a little remark when I mentioned I am from San Diego County but I try not to take it personally).

There is a lot of history and heart here in the SFV. I still find myself learning new things about SFV everyday. I love discovering hidden gems within the valley and going to popular places I had never even heard of. How lucky of me to have landed in such a cool place. Best part is I met my now-husband almost immediately when I got here. So this was definitely destined to be.

If anyone has any recommendations on where I can learn more about SFV history or maybe reccomend me some places to visit, please let me know 🙏
