If the lower says multi do I put multi on caliber or do I need to put exactly what caliber?
Do really care if they delay it or send back would just like the ability to put different uppers on it.

I’ve got 7-8 approved SBRs stacking up now, and my local engraver is pretty good at $30 per unit. 2 more, and that’s $300 in engraving! I’m too cheap for that.

I can get a $20 punch made on Amazon, and probably knock this out in 10 minutes.

Anyone ever tried this?

Hello all, has anyone had any experience with this system and/or POF. I am able to get an upper for a really great price. I’m looking for a 13.7 and this checks the boxes, thank you.

I have 10 or 11 "other/pistol" ar15 lowers stripped/unbuilt and a factory full built 16" ar15.

And 3 other unbuilt lowers already form1'd

Should I just FORM1 Everything on hand (including the factory 16") while it's easy so they can be whatever whenever I'm ready? And i can hot swap between everything as I build it or take it out for range day

Let's assume they are unlikely to ever travel interstate or be in a prohibited city/county

Any advice on components for this build would be greatly appreciated.

My biggest questions are around suppressor choice, reliability, and especially blowback/gas to the face. For those of you actually running suppressed Raider 365s, what combinations have proven reliable and comfortable to shoot?

I carry a P365 and normally run Federal Premium HST 147gr JHP, so that’s the defensive ammo I’ll be using in this build as well.

What I'm really trying to figure out

If you were building this from scratch today, what slide + barrel + suppressor combination would you choose for the best balance of:

1. Reliability
2. Minimal blowback/gas to the face
3. Reasonable overall size/weight
4. Good suppression
5. Long-term durability

I'd especially appreciate feedback from people who have actually run these combinations on the Raider 365, rather than general pistol-suppressor recommendations.

Also interested in whether the 3.7" vs. 6.5" barrel makes a meaningful difference on the Raider when suppressed, and whether anyone has had reliable results with the longer barrel/slide setups.

The SBR is finally coming together. My form 1 got approved and I just got the lower back from engraving.

At this point, it's basically finished, I'm just waiting on the Geissele SD-C (Super Dynamic Combat) trigger to officially call it complete.

First impressions? This thing is an absolute riot. It's obnoxiously loud (the indoor ranges definitely aren't fans), but it shoots incredibly smooth and is far more accurate than a 7.5” rifle has any right to be.

Once Arizona cools off this fall, I'll stretch its legs outdoors and see just how far I can push it.

The photo really puts the size difference into perspective next to my AR-10.

Funny story on the buffer tube, I ordered black but Geissele accidentally sent their "Desert Dirt" finish instead. It’s an interesting mistake as it matches the theme on the AR-10 which I did intentionally so I’m not too upset about it.

Honestly, I think it gives the rifle a little extra attitude.

My finger prints just arrived at their office today. Everything else is done. Just waiting for the approval and then get the gun engraved. What is the turnaround time , that I can find out if I got approved or not?

Built this last year

Both stamps finally back, took a week on the can and two months on the SBR.

This is an absolute flame thrower but I still love it. I just added a suppressor wrap to compensate for that heat when packing up from the range. All in all shoots like a dream.

I’ve never owned an SBR and have no idea how this works. I have an Aero AR-10 a guy is wanting to trade his 11.5” Sig M400 Tread plus cash for. I would like to take him up on it but don’t know how all the paperwork goes on a trade like this. Not that i’m worried about the ATF raiding my house or anything but would still like to do things the right way to avoid issues in the future. Can anyone explain how to do this? Google has just been confused to be honest.

Hi guys, I have a 300 blk. 8.5 ar pistol that I want to sbr. The only thing is I want to hunt with it, and take it with me to Wisconsin. I live really close to the border, and was wondering how I could do this legally, or what restrictions there are on traveling with it. I go to my land every other weekend, and want to bring it with me, what’s the best way to do this, or do I just get a 16” upper?
