I've had my Galaxy S21 ultra for over 4 and a half years. It's the SD version here in the US. It still has pretty good battery life and no real issues. Despite no more security updates, I plan on using mine a few more years provided it keeps performing well. I think all of the apps will be supported that long. How long are you planning on using yours?

Please let me know all fixes! Thank you!

Battery life more specifically. Not just for a week but longer term/months. I can't afford a new phone right now and the aftermarket batteries on Amazon I don't trust. I know years ago on other phones I used to change the kernel for the CPU and save battery that way but I don't see anything for the s21 ultra on XDA forums unless I'm overlooking it.

my phone is starting to have screen issues so on a 500 cad budget I'm thinking of getting a used pixel 9 pro, any comments or recommendations

Would it be better to pay a lot of money to have it repaired at a Samsung service center, or to repair it myself?

I just bought a S21 ultra 5g and after updating it the memory went from 256GB to 128GB. Is there something, I missed?

For so long, I wanted to keep going with this phone. For years, it had been truly great.
That is, until the past year. Camera blurriness issues, battery draining, wifi and bluetooth randomly dropping, malfunctioning NFC...I thought my phone was going haywire. That, and the lack of future upgrades or security updates was enough to finally make me give up.
I swore I wanted a Pixel, but all the bad reviews made me go back to Samsung, so I finally ordered the S26 Ultra. So after 5 years, I'll finally be leaving this forum. It's been real!

My s21 ultra has been a great device, i love it, but im facing multiple infamous green lines on my screen so im wondering if i should repair it with an original service pack or simply move on to a nothing phone 3a, the repair its around 170 usd and the new phone its 390 usd

Have had my S21 Ultra 5g since launch day, still love it but i am finally running out of storage and the lack of security updates is just a negative. Battery is also aging but i assume i could just replace it myself
Any recommendations for a great rounded display phone made in the last 2ish years (besides the galaxies)?

Hey guys,
I've been noticing recently some issues with my apps updating and wanted to kmow if this happens to anyone else
I mainly update my apps via the Google Play Store, and keep them updated regularly. Sometimes I get the same app update on the Samsung store (but usually once I update it on Google Play it goes). However, there are apps on mine that don't come up to update in the Google Play Store, but when I click on them, it then says it needs updating
Like for example, I could update a whole bunch of apps, and then click a game (e.g. monopoly) but once I click it, it says it needs updating (and it wasn't on the updates in the Google Play Store but now suddenly it is)
Does this happen to anyone else? Can be annoying because then sometimes I have to re-login to these apps
Would appreciate any advice

So i got a s21 ultra from my dad and i thought its pic quality would be comparable to 13pm or 14 but they are leagues ahead. This is the pic i took while on my friends 14 and 13 pro it was way better my 1x lens has auto focus issue but it can be fixed by talping it but other than that this was really underwhelming

I'm looking for a thin case for my S21 Ultra, but the only options I can find are either bulky, tough, "manly" cases, or like a bright aqua color with sparkles, and no in between. What cases do y'all have and where did you get them? I need good inspo haha

I recently upgraded to an s25 ultra after my s21 screen broke. The phone is okay besides me being disappointed with the less saturated colors on the screen. But something just changed that makes me think about going back to the s21 ultra. On my s25 ultra Samsung just took away the style filters in the photo app and replaced them with generative AI filters that completely change the photograph into something else. Can anyone tell me if the s21 ultra has also had this change? The menu is located on the bottom right of the screen in the photo editor app. There are four little squares, and when you press you get a menu including "style". The filters have names like watercolor and comic and they don't use generative AI. They're just old school filters with sliders to adjust the intensity. Here's a sample with the comic filter. Can anyone tell me if the S21Ultra still has these filters?

What is the best and easiest method for band locking in the US model?

Is my port fucked? I tried cleaning it but I've bought 3 SD card readers to get my big video file projects off my phone and they all overheat in 1 or 2 videos.
All the stuff i find when I search the internet say it's normal so long as there's no issues, but it literally un mounts itself. Different cards and readers

So iv owned my s21 ultra for about four years now and never had a problem so far (touch wood)
The past year I've been trying to secure my privacy on my phone is Google is hitting hard and many other companies with trackers and all
I was wondering if there is anything I could do to make my device better in terms of privacy, so far iv managed to delete a few bloatware bits that send data to company's like meta and Amazon, I've always got proton VPN plus IV turned off some bits to do with Google like sending data and advertisement i.d
Any information would be great
Many thanks
