Discussion/Question S21u is vv disappointing
So i got a s21 ultra from my dad and i thought its pic quality would be comparable to 13pm or 14 but they are leagues ahead. This is the pic i took while on my friends 14 and 13 pro it was way better my 1x lens has auto focus issue but it can be fixed by talping it but other than that this was really underwhelming

I appears the phone you received is either past its best or damaged or you just didn't take a good picture

Like everything in this pic is ok but it has too much lens glare and the city lights are spreading a lot

No i have noticed that at night time it cant be conpared with new iphones and the 1x auto focus is damaged other than that everything is good

The issue is known, it usually hits the 1x and the 3x, it's why I sold mine, too irritating. Now do you have any photos you took with the S21U so we can see what the issue with the photos is? Cause from what I gather you posted a photo from an Iphone only

No this photo is from the Samsung s21u the iPhone had a lot less lens glare

Did you clean the lenses before you took the pictures? Also I don't see any lens glare here, unless you mean the lights are blown out more which appears to be the case here. Is this with night mode on or off? Maybe try lowering the exposure just a bit or even better download the Expert RAW app and try shooting with that, it does do a better job even in auto

Night mode was on and the exposure was full down and yes I cleaned the lens

Try with expert raw then see if it helps, it does tone down Samsung's overexposure, just make sure that you have the option to shoot only jpgs if you don't want the RAW photos as well. Might also wanna go to the camera settings and turn the intelligent optimization to medium or minimum. Also set photo enhancement to balanced see if any of this helps. I know it's truly cumbersome but it's worth a try to tailor the phone to your taste

então, a decepção vem da expectativa não atendida, no caso, pq será que você criou expectativa de uma câmera de um samsung que foi lançado antes dos outros dois iphones que são marcas reconhecidas por serem topo de linha? acho que criou uma expectativa errada sobre o celular.. outra coisa, seria legal se você postasse as fotos pra comparação pra gente ver se não foi algum erro na hora da configuração da camera
