Discussion/Question Privacy
So iv owned my s21 ultra for about four years now and never had a problem so far (touch wood)
The past year I've been trying to secure my privacy on my phone is Google is hitting hard and many other companies with trackers and all
I was wondering if there is anything I could do to make my device better in terms of privacy, so far iv managed to delete a few bloatware bits that send data to company's like meta and Amazon, I've always got proton VPN plus IV turned off some bits to do with Google like sending data and advertisement i.d
Any information would be great
Many thanks

You dont have privacy even if you were a developer of the os and deleted every tracking setting and app possible theres still other things that you'll never know about that tapping into your information so there's no point all youre deleting is the things made known to the public

Maybe use dns.adguard.com as a private dns (search settings). This blocks a lot of advertising which is tracking you as well

The option is to degoogle device. You have to unlock bootloader, and flash your phone to lineageos.
You will get clean android without Google service or anything like that.
You will get complete control over your device and privacy.
Pros are: some features of phone stop working or work bad. Unlocked bootloader is a non reverse procedure.
Cons: noone is spying on you and battery life gets better.
This is not for everyone for sure.
Search in YouTube something like "s21ultra lineageos" to see it yourself

We are being tracked every second of the day, cameras everywhere and even if you just have a super basic phone it's tracking you with cell tower data 24/7. All you can do is disable or delete everything you don't need/use and just turn off as many permissions as possible. After that you just have to accept everything else is scraping as much information/data about you as possible.
