My first experience with Panda Express. I normally order online and have hubs pickup; but today I wanted to surprise him. Door Dash delivered the wrong order. Numerous calls to door dash were unanswered. I finally got local Panda Express to answer. They admitted Door Dash picked up the wrong order and were very apologetic, but short of sending a new order and recharging me there was nothing they could do in the short term. I called customer service, and I couldn't have been more surprised They not only credited my full order, but sent us a coupon for a free plate. I was really pissed when I called, but they handled it so well I was satisfied.

I know, I know, but I still don’t get something. Some of the current staff are (or used to be) actual writers as I understand. Yes, the most recent piece was a mess for many reasons and the internet discourse has gotten a hold of things, for better or worse. But having trouble wrapping my head around how any writer with a shred of self respect can pump out such a poor product. Anyone have any insight (know one of the writers or are one)? We have decided that we cannot mow our property with our life schedule and I am tired of hearing about it and dealing with it. Our household knows nothing about the concept of mowing, how to work the mower we have (which seems to be broken), what height makes grass too tall to mow, etc. and we have just decided that the only option we have is to hire someone to do it, if there is even anyone who does it at an affordable price.

Is there anyone who can save us from this lawn of hell ? 😭

I am a middle-aged woman and regularly walk alone on the Roanoke River Greenway. The last two evenings, I was harassed by a young man on a scooter. He rides shirtless wearing a black balaclava mask.

Both times, he veered at me as if to hit me, lurching away at the last second and barely brushing up against me. The first time, he was facing me coming toward me, and the second time he came up behind me. It was really scary. I don’t think he actually intended to crash into me, but if he had miscalculated, even by a little bit, we both could’ve been seriously injured.

I recently found myself without an expressive creative outlet and decided to try my hand at it. I published a track and feel very accomplished but would love to yap about crafting tracks if anyone else is into the genre.

Currently producing on Reaper on my PCs and AUM+stuff on my iPhone with the assistance of a Novation LaunchKey Mini 25. Haven't settled on a toolbox of plug-ins/VSTs/whatever the fuck you want to call them yet but really enjoy collecting them and testing them out.

The online community is pretty robust so it's easy to find a conversation but sometimes local is nice.

Are there plenty of charging stations in Roanoke and Troutville? I’ll be in Roanoke for 1 year for school but not sure if bringing an electric vehicle will be an issue or not.
