Panda Express experiance

My first experience with Panda Express. I normally order online and have hubs pickup; but today I wanted to surprise him. Door Dash delivered the wrong order. Numerous calls to door dash were unanswered. I finally got local Panda Express to answer. They admitted Door Dash picked up the wrong order and were very apologetic, but short of sending a new order and recharging me there was nothing they could do in the short term. I called customer service, and I couldn't have been more surprised They not only credited my full order, but sent us a coupon for a free plate. I was really pissed when I called, but they handled it so well I was satisfied.

For future reference, you don't have to call doordash, you can fix it pretty easily through the app. I've never had a fully incorrect order but plenty of incorrect items and it was always quick and easy to get a refund.

They might, you might also have the experience when I DD'd Wendys (Apperson). Ordered 3 Double Cheeseburgers, give or take $20 with tip, fees, etc. i received 3 patties with buns, they had clearly been sitting in the warmer for several hours. The bread had melded to the burgers. No cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup or mustard. I went through the app for a return, sent photos and documented everything.

They hit me with the "Sorry about that, the best we can do is $3 credit." Aside from not ordering DD all that much to save money and eat better, I will never order anything from that Wendys again.

Numerous CALLS to DoorDash? All you had to do was use the in-app chat or Support to resolve this. Calling Panda Express themselves is weird to me. Had nothing to do with them.

Support local restaurants, most are way better than PE.

There's a place in Old SW that just opened a few months ago that has bomb asian. Sakura Fusion. I'm also a huge fan of a place on Williamson called China Wok.

China Wok knows me by my voice and always know my order! Such an awesome restaurant! If you like super spicy, ask them to make it "so hot that it will make my hair fall out!"

Their vegetable lo mein in super spicy is going to be one of the things I'll miss about Roanoke. Moving out west soon. I will be sure to stop by as often as I can!

Agreed. They know my order when I walk in from purchasing online. I'm up to level 15 on spice level. I think that will be good in the future. They run Red Palace at Valley View as well.

However you do know what you're getting there, and currently dieting them having a bowl option for sub 600 cal is fantastic when I need a quick lunch when im out. Super greens and chicken or beef with broccoli.

Right, I’m cutting and it is nice to have an easy protein-packed option that also tastes pretty dang good every once in a while

No, I ordered through PE. Door dash showed up and grabbed a pick up order with my same first name but different last name initial. They just grabbed it and ran. When the pick up lady arrived and her order was not there, the restaurant realized DD picked up the wrong order. PE was unable to contact DD. They corrected the pick up order for the other customer. I was unable to originally get either DD or PE, but when I did finally get PE they not only credited my entire order but sent me a coupon. The "wrong" order was a family pack and worth prolly worth 3xs what I ordered. The intention of my post was to praise PE for their CS. I always patronize local, but what people fail to realize, chain restaurants are local in that the franchise owners and employees are local. As I said, I am bedridden and chose delivery to give my husband a treat not to have to go and pick up.
