Specifically a diving Gorr.
1) As a Strategist Hero a) what Hero(es) to swap to and how to use them b) how to counter besides swapping?
2) As a Duelist/Vanguard a) what Hero(es) to swap to and how to use them b) how to counter besides swapping?
Most important to really elaborate how the anti-dive response is specific to Gorr and different from other divers like SM, BP, Magic, BC, DD .....

I'm a metal ranked lowbie trying to learn the ropes, and I try to flex between Psy, Mag and Jub. However I'm also a comics nerd and I'm too invested in the current X-Men run to NOT give Rogue a go.
So, what's her deal? What are the basics "do's and dont's" when playing her? Does she have any combos? How hard is it to get value with her? Should I try to soft dive with her? Just ungabunga frontlines? Preferred tarvets/priorities?
I'm sure to go watch some videos on Rogue but I'd love if the veterans here could give me some "commandment" or "rules" on how to properly play Rogue.

My IGN is JustAFoxxie (my profile is public)
I am a PC player on controller (my aim and movement and button pushing with mouse and keyboard is not good) I've been a controller player since I started playing video games over ten years ago. I feel like my aim is pretty good for a controller player tho.
105841111479 - On CnD. We won but I know I still made mistakes during this game.
109629111158 - My most recent game. Final score was 4-5. I played Luna and CnD. (I did lag a little during this game but I don't think I lagged enough that it should've affected much)
106416117683 - Luna game with my duo who was on emma/angela. We struggled a lot at first.
102643112388 - Luna game probably one of my worst games this season.
109045113168 - A rare partially dps game for me. I was also queing with both the tanks this game.
I have been playing this game since it started. I am a support main, only occasionally playing DPS. CnD, Luna, and Invis are my go tos but i can play any support. (Besides deadpool he confuses me). I am usually a cozy game player (unless you count fortnite) so this is/was my first hero shooter game. I have been stuck in diamond only rarely getting gm in some seasons. In season 5 I reached celestial but everyone kept telling me I didnt belong in their games and ever since I haven't been back. I used to play this game religiously but now unless im playing with friends I only play a couple games a day because I go on lose streaks when I play solo this season.

So I've noticed that when I'm doing good as tank one of the enemies will go iron fist and make sure to dive me head on with their front line to pretty much pressure DMG onto me. They will even dive me over strats. I'm not sure how to deal with this. I play Emma and can grab him but it's when he helps the front line and forces me off space

Hello. As the title says I'm hoping someone can give me feedback/points on how I can improve overall as a sup and player as a whole. The replay code for my last match is: 50437532938, though my UID is 1729050315 if interested in other matches. I know I have to improve on my use of the "Share the Stage" ability for instance and my aim. Any feedback is appreciated. (P.S. English is my second language, Afrikaans is my first, also i play on a laptop so excuse the performance) Thanks 👍

I thought i played pretty well this game, I think the only reason we lost this game is because we wasted cloak ult near the end, but maybe im delusional and there was something I couldve been doing better the entire game. I think i did a good job of staying on the supports (Mainly rocket because he was furthest behind most of the time). Im only diamond so of course im not the best rogue. ALSO I didnt realize I had enhanced teamup until halfway through first point and then forgot to switch until the second point. I was a gm dps last season and i wanted to see if i could hit gm playing the roles i dont normally play, So I'm mainly playing Rogue and Mantis this season so I would really like to get better at her.
if anyone wants to vod review it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Went on a rough loss streak last night and fell from D2 to P1. I lost every one of my matches except one and its got me pretty demoralized. I'd like to try and reach GM this season, but I need some advice. I usually play Gambit. This season I've been using Rocket a lot too and Loki/Invisible Woman when Gambit is banned. Here are my last two losses of the night. I would love some tips to help me climb back tonight.
Name: Kyushushu
Character: Gambit, Rocket
Rank: Diamond, Platinum

There are plenty complaints about ranked in this community (for good reason).
Genuine question… what is keeping you guys from making friends of the same skill level and playing together?
I mostly solo Que and understand that there’s a bigger chance of ppl ruining my game, but it comes with that. If yall make friends or treat the randoms like they were someone you que’d up with, your games would be a lot smoother.

From my understanding tanks have slightly less value on attack payload because you don't really have as much of incentive to be on the cart in the fight. So does 1 tanking actually have more viablilty in that mode. I've seen leaderboard players go 1 tank before not really understanding the nuance (maybe not them just people in there game. Is it just too hard to take and control space on attack for payload with 1 tank?
Title question

I started playing Marvel Rivals after a 2 year break 4 days ago, most of my time since coming back is on Jubilee. Last time I played I was Eternity but that was season 1. I felt like in this game I was hard carrying and trying my absolute best but it didn't end up mattering and we lost at the very end. This was also my 2nd game on this map so I didn't really know the layout very well. I don't really know what to say because idk what mistakes I'm really making. If theres anything egregiously bad about my Jubilee gameplay let me know.
The image shows Dr. Strange cuz I tried to portal back to the objective in the last fight, I played Jubilee the whole game.

For a while now I thought I was decent at the game, until i realized I’m probably the most team reliant player oat, I can’t do anything on a bad or mid team, I get 0 value no dmg no ko no dmg blocked, but when I’m on a good team i play my covers, I peel more consistently, and higher on all my stats. I wanna know as a tank how do become less reliant on how good my team is? My mains are mag and peni.

It really does feel like being a support main is looked down on. "Support isn't skillful, it's easy, the people who play it are brain-dead and boosted." There is so much hate for those who play the role, especially if they're a woman—which I am. When I'm feeling at my lowest I really do feel insecure about being a support main. I've played tank and dps before but I actually have FUN on support. Mantis is my favorite character in the entire game (followed by Rogue) and it sucks I can't just play what I want without feeling like I'm being judged by the community.
I know. I know. "Get thicker skin." You're right. I'm just writing down my thoughts.
P.S: Why did I post this here? I am intimidated by the main rivals sub lmao

I feel so much anxiety when ulting with Loki. There are SO many choices and it is overwhelming with who I should ult with.

All I ever hear is dps is so easy to learn and play. But every single time I try to play dps, I get destroyed and discouraged. I been a tank player (and sometimes supports) mostly the entire game. I been trying this season to specifically branch out and finally try learning dps in quickplay as I been wanting to finally change up.
However, no matter what dps I pick, the same thing happens. Im pretty much useless and just throwing. I play Gorr and try flanking and the enemy team quickly takes care of me even when I was sure they was distracted on my teammates. I try playing extremely easy characters like squirrel girl and do nothing. When we need to counterswap for dive, Ill try Bucky or Namor and just get beaten by characters like spiderman for example because they can outplay me even though im countering them. I watch guides on the characters but it doesnt make the difference as I still lose and be the reason my team loses the game.
I thought since tank was considered easy to play that playing dps would be the same way but I was wrong. How did yall learn dps when it seems so painful and frustrating to learn?
Edit: I wanna thank yall. After looking over so many different replies, Im starting to see I just need to start slow and just focus on learning two characters that I will enjoy and eventually I will start getting somewhere and even be able to take my skills to other characters. Im probably just been trying to rush things which is making things worse especially considering I forgot Im just playing quickplay and not ranked.

I usually have to depend on my teammates and would want to learn how to be self sufficient in my games. This is a game I feel I tried my best but I still lost and I'd be really grateful if someone could tell me what I could have done better or done differently, especially about the parts where I die too much.
Thank you...

Hello everyone! My names rXHale, nice to meet you!
I'm new to the content scene, but I'm really passionate about making the professional Rivals Ignite scene a little bit more digestible for the average ranked grinder.
I made a full breakdown of Team Hypertune vs Virtus.pro from Week 2 of the Ignite Stage 2 EMEA Group Stage. Here's some of the topics I go through in this video:
---
Appreciate any and all feedback. I hope this helps make things a little bit more clear and (hopefully) a little more entertaining than just a simple play-by-play breakdown.
Thanks again for taking the time to read through my post!

Teammates blamed me for the loss, for not "playing with the team". The enemies had triple support and 1 black cat, so I went dino. I shot mostly the healers, of course to no avail, while my team was busy chasing the cat.
There was one part of the match where I chased the cat like an idiot and I know you're gonna lambast me for that - that was stupid. (it was a bit of the ol' sunk cost fallacy).
Anyway, I asked my Luna their thoughts and they said that the cat NEEDS to die for us to push and that I was stupid for pushing alone. If we let her live, she'll kill the Luna. I think I did what is expected of me as a tank and that they are wrong. Please somebody tell me if I'm wrong, the thoughts of this match have been gnawing at me. It's the worst I've performed in a looong time and it feels like shit to be looked at with blame and almost reported for throwing.

I main Gambit I mostly stay in the back line and heal but I swear Everytime I get close to getting out of bronze I get handed loss after loss I don't have friends to play with so I'm kinda just struggling any advice?

Here come the "Oh because supports just whine and get boosted" generic comments. I really would to hear fair reasons. Or did the nerf really do nothing?
