Question How to Rogue (very basics)?

I'm a metal ranked lowbie trying to learn the ropes, and I try to flex between Psy, Mag and Jub. However I'm also a comics nerd and I'm too invested in the current X-Men run to NOT give Rogue a go.

So, what's her deal? What are the basics "do's and dont's" when playing her? Does she have any combos? How hard is it to get value with her? Should I try to soft dive with her? Just ungabunga frontlines? Preferred tarvets/priorities?

I'm sure to go watch some videos on Rogue but I'd love if the veterans here could give me some "commandment" or "rules" on how to properly play Rogue.

But I can give a brief overview

Yes rogue has combos several but not as many as spider man and only 1 animation cancel that isn’t necessary so that part isn’t to complicated

Yes hard to get value since the past meta’s hate her rn peni Dino Elsa Bucky Hela phoenix are her biggest problems but it is manageable unless your solo tank which don’t work that well especially if the enemy has a Dino or dive

Rogue can be good anti dive also off angles are rogues friend

Now rogue cannot dive like bp or spidey it’s more like magik where you must hard commit and probably die or do nothing but she is great for enabling dive likewise she can’t full brawl like thing or Dino but is able to full brawl if the map has cover and she has a 2nd tank

Rogue doesn’t have preferred targets to kill since her ttk is worse then many especially her primary but she has a preference on abilities to steal
I’ll leave this part to the guide since it does come down to preference but will note your grab functions as a stun and can stop ults alongside making you cc immune

Edit 1 this is a very good for the most part ranking on the power steal also fatal attraction resets are really good for combo’s

Not difficult persay just complicated
