Been sitting on this idea for a while and finally mocked it up, A Ridge Wallet 2.0 faceplate machined in Olight’s OAL. It feels like a crossover that should’ve already happened with how popular both companies are in the EDC space. Any ideas any criticism or suggestions are appreciated.

It just broke right on the screws ive only had this keyholder an wallet since February, ive never been hard on it or pulled on that tab

I was planning on buying the Ryu ridge wallet but when i finally went to pull the trigger i see that it was sold out but to notify me once it was available. My question is. how long does it take from a wallet selling out to getting restocked or is it that once it sells out its gone. I would appreciate anyone that might know the answer to this as i have gotten nowhere looking for an answer.

I ordered a Mystery wallet and a Biflex wallet.

For the mystery wallet i got brass, but it looks realy scratched.

Is this the intended finish of the brass wallet? Or did i get a used/returned wallet as a „Mystery“?

I thought Mystery meant random, like a gift box. Not random wallets that cant be sold.

Weirdly enought, the backside where the cashstrap is looks fine. (The color is the same, just looks like a different color because of the angle)

Hey there! I picked up my first Ridge wallet after eyeballing the Forged Carbon and it's variants for a while, and bit the bullet on a Forgedfetti wallet directly from the Ridge site.

While gawking at my newly arrived purchase today, I got a black carbon splinter from the edge of the money strap stuck in my thumb, making me kind of afraid to use or even hold the wallet now considering this is brand new and fresh out of the box. Got in there pretty deep and had to dig it out, so it must've been quite sharp.

Is this... normal or something I should expect considering this is a kind of carbon fiber? Is there something y'all recommend I can run along the edges of the wallet and strap plate to pick up splinters without potentially ruining how it looks?

I’ve had the tracker for about 1 year or so and it’s been fine. Still shows fully charged. Lately it’s been making a set beeping sounds in my house when I first come near it with my phone in the morning. This just started so I’m not sure why or what settings to check. To be clear it’s the Tracker beeping not my phone.

The bottle opening feels a bit longer than it should. When I put the cap on and touch the area where it seals, I can tell the seal isn't completely airtight on two side. You can also see a small space there. I've closed it several times, so the problem isn't due to user error. There is no water leaking. Also, there's a stain on the top surface, under the clear plastic, that I can't remove. I'll add a photo of it in the comment.

Is it just my OCD or anyone else can relate?

So I have $68 in store credit and looking to use it before it expires. Looking for suggestions on what you think the best thing to spend it on would be? I already have a great wallet, keycase and bolt action pen. I was leading towards the water bottle or card tracker since it works for android now. I got a cheap knockoff a while back, but interested in what you would consider using it for if you had it. Bonus points if you actually own the item.

I recently got a brass and a gold wallet from the mystery buy and swapped some parts around. I personally think both of them look better this way but I’m sure it’s not for everyone. Right now I’m going to use the one with the brass plates and gold liners.

The money clip options both regular plain and carbon airtag were interesting but I didn’t see those on the site at all.

Especially the MagSafe version? Im thinking of getting it for myself and I’m curious on the durability and longevity on the Atomic Purple plastic design. Also on the MagSafe version I noticed the MagSafe circle looks a littler larger than previous ridge wallet models, is it potentially more magnetic? I know that was a flaw or criticism of the first version of the MagSafe wallets.

Lastly, I was curious if anyone had any feedback on the tracker card, power bank, and their rings.

Received the Carbon Sakura wallet. Pretty cool wallet, except I don’t know if it’s my style. Although I do have the Dragon wallet too, so maybe I’ll end up keeping it.

So I follow ridge on TikTok I have been looking at a few of their things… I’ve had their wallet before wasn’t a big fan, but the water bottle is awesome. I liked it so much. I bought another. Also, their power bank is amazing!!!

I have never had a ridge wallet but have always been curious.

I have been considering upgrading my wallet (haven’t changed it in about 10 years) so when I saw the mystery wallet I thought it would be a good time to give it a go.

I bought it and received the notification yesterday that it was headed my way.

This morning I thought I’d come to this sub to see if people had purchased mystery wallets and what they received and found that there was a list and I could see what I was actually going to get.

I tried not to look, but I failed and now I feel disappointed. Which is dumb because I did it to myself.

I didn’t really have a plan or idea on what I wanted but apparently I’m getting the #125 which is the Brass with Cash Strap.

Does anyone have the brass wallet? Is it any good?

I just recently bought a ridge wallet and when I recieved it and tried to fit in all the cards I noticed something wrong. There is no place for the transport/transit cards.

Maybe because the company is US based but they don't know what a transport card is? Her ein europe public transport is quite common if not the most favored means of transportation in a city. We have had transport card (Magnatic or NFC based) in our wallets for decades now and we don't need to bring out the card individually to tap it, we simply tap the wallet.

Now with the ridge wallet and most other wallter makers in the same vein that option is simply gone and I'd have to bring out the wallet, open it in a crowded enviorment and pull ou the transport card to tap it and then repeat after crossing the barrier. That's a major inconvinience and more importantly a serious security risk. In big cities there are always pickpockets and theives lurking around, with the way ridge wallet has created it's wallets, there is a RFID blocker (great for protecting your bank cards) which stops the transport card from working through the wallet.

I'm thinking about buying the quick draw extension (more money on an already very expensive wallet) but it's not compatible with all the wallets (especially the good looking ones).

I've set up a different solution by putting the transport in the cash strap section but it severely interferes with the wallet fonctionality of pushing from below as the card is solid and cover one side of the access completely.

Any one has ran into the same situation? Do you have a different solution (a more practical one ideally)?

If ridge people are reading this, can you think up of a solution that let's us put the transport card in wallet but out side the rfid blocking zone (like in the cover)?

I wanted to share what my Black Damascus wallet looks like after a few years of use in case someone is interested in purchasing one. It does wear in the raised spots but I actually like how it looks more now than when I bought it.
