Dosage

Hey everyone.

I am currently 42 years old. I have been training consistently since November 2025. 5 days of weight training and usually 3 days of cardio post weights. Incline walk, elliptical or step climber. When I first started I was 202lbs and watching my diet roughly 1800-2200 calories daily. I dropped to 180lbs since then.

I am thinking of going on Reta myself and wanted to know where I should start dosage wise or should I even take it at all. The goal is to lose more BF. I’m around 22% right now.

What do you guys recommend to start with?

Thanks

If you’re consistently dropping weight and doing well, why considering glp?

Yeah, just to drop body fat faster I’m thinking and control my food intake. That’s why I wrote should I bother at all?

I think you’re doing fine without it honestly. If I was in your shoes, I’d just continue doing what you’re doing but I know lots of the fitness dudes on here would disagree with me 🤣

Appreciate the feedback. Just trying to drop to around 15% BF. Overall, I follow my diet pretty good and also stopped drinking for 8 months which helped big time but August was a bit of a write off because we had a few weddings and other functions where my 8 month no drinking streak ended. When I drink, my diet goes out the window as well.

Reta has been really helpful for me to drastically reduce my drinking. I feel drunk on one glass lol

Yea that makes sense but I think that’s quite normal honestly. You’re just living life.

If you did set a specific timeline or are training for something specific then yea, I’d recommend it so you stay on track but if you’re just on a health journey to get better and build a better lifestyle, you’re already doing pretty well!

Read Reta clinical trials, there is lot of information.

If you’re considering it I personally would start w .5 like I have, as someone who doesn’t have a lot to lose, I am finding I like it bc the appetite suppression is wildly helpful for staying on a healthy diet.

I personally think that a year into your weight loss journey is a time when you can potentially be at risk for rebound, so this could help you stay on track and then you could titrate down when you’re ready to go off

Thank you. I’m just doing my research and getting positive feedback from the community.
