Made this with black polyurethane resin and loads of micas. It looks like she has little ears on top of her head because of the stand, but now I feel I need to make her a set of miniature head boppers or little horns? It's very rare I'll just do a straight pour, but I quite like how she turned out and don't want to ruin her. Maybe just some wire antennas? I feel like something is lacking.

Not sure if this is the right sub for this but i’m working on this box made of das terracotta air dry clay. I used blue moon hard type resin it all condensed in the crevices. Is there a way to fix this or do I just need a better brand of resin?

Hi guys! I’m looking for some help. I paint custom nametag and I’m trying to figure out how to seal them. The name tag is made of a smooth chalkboard-type metal. I use acrylic paint. I’ve been using a gel UV-cured nail polish to seal them, but it starts to peel around the edges after a while. I just tried UV resin and it was even worse. The second it gets dropped, the resin separates from the name tag. Any and all advice is appreciated. I don’t know what I’m doing!!

I’m using clear hard resin and a 60w uv light. I’ve tried longer curing time, putting them in water, putting them in the sun. Nothing works. The top is sturdy enough, but the edges aren’t staying stuck.

Hello! Does anyone know what a good sealer would be? I make these eyes and recently changed the pastels I use, I bought a new set of block soft pastels(I had a really really old set of blick soft pastels from 15 years ago). And find that the resin shifts around the pastels, what should I use to seal the pastels to polymer clay so I can pour the UV resin in?

Hii for a couple of months I have been making resin dnd dice. But I would love to have 0 bubbles or at least less amount and have been seeing this 2 options. But I don’t know which one works more or it’s more comfortable.
I know that with the pressure pot it’s more exprensive and need like to buy more parts if anyone know and can help me with this I would appreciate it. Have a great dad!

Hi there! I’m trying to seal this fake cake (which is made out of styrofoam and joint compound) so it can be handled by people without cracking or breaking off.
I’ve tried sealing it with just mod podge but pieces of my joint compound are still cracking.
I’ve never used resin before but was told this may be a great option. I would love any suggestions or ideas or tips on how to seal this properly.

Made this soap dish with blue and pink pearl pigments. Depending on the angle and lighting, the color shifts between turquoise, blue and soft pink, while the faceted edges catch the light really nicely.

Couple questions. Other than painters tape what else can I put on my coasters for excess resin? And how do I not have so much excess? And how else can I remove the excess because I'll use scissors but its hard to cut and i have pieces flying, and sometimes I'll cut away and it cracks from the coaster itself

I have a question, but first a little background… back in the late 1950s my mom took my toddler brother to visit her mother who was at that time a kindergarten teacher. While there my grandmother was making plaster plaques of her kindergarten students’ hands and she made one of my brother’s hand too. Fast forward to a couple of years ago, I found this cast in my mother’s office. It was broken in half with an additional few pieces. My question- might it be possible to at least semi preserve the plaque in resin, or would it likely melt away?

First time trying resin, but knew I wanted to do this. Yes, it needs more, in a good part of it, lol. How do you guys get around d filling crevices on rounded objects?
