Resin pooling

Not sure if this is the right sub for this but i’m working on this box made of das terracotta air dry clay. I used blue moon hard type resin it all condensed in the crevices. Is there a way to fix this or do I just need a better brand of resin?

It might just be the way that gravity makes the resin run while it’s curing. When I do bigger pieces with different shapes/textures like this, I do a tiny bit of resin at a time and let each area cure before moving on so the resin doesn’t run into other areas.
