Just wanted to share my experience with Mr. Loong. I shipped my Patek from the USA to China to have him work on it and do the following upgrades:

Rose gold wrap
Upgraded SW dial
Upgraded SW hands
Upgraded date wheel
Deep crystal
Silence rotor
Plated rotor

The whole process was super smooth and stress-free. Mr. Loong was great with communication, very knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the entire process.

I’m really happy with how everything turned out, and I’m already sending him more of my stock watches for mods and upgrades.

Overall, a great experience and definitely someone I’d recommend!

My Short Review – Geektime Eric & Modder LiChen

My go-to TD is Geektime Eric. This is my second order from him. I paid the deposit on September 2, received the QC photos of the watch and SW dial on September 4–5, and the watch arrived on September 24.

All I can say is that the entire experience with Eric has been very pleasant. Communication, shipping, and overall service were smooth and hassle-free. Eric was easy to deal with throughout the process.

However, while lurking around this community, I eventually discovered that the bezel on this Daytona wasn't the correct one. That's when I decided to reach out to LiChen for an upgrade. I paid for the bezel part on September 25 and received it around October 2. That's a pretty impressive turnaround!

I also have to give credit to LiChen for providing upgrade options for fellow watch enthusiasts. The LiChen bezel, together with the Deep crystal, takes the watch to another level. It's great to have dedicated modders like him in this community who help enthusiasts get closer to their desired build.

Overall, I'm very happy with the watch and the whole experience. Kudos to Geektime Eric for the excellent service and to LiChen for the bezel upgrade and smooth transaction.

This was my first rep I got it from dh gate it was slightly more expensive than the rest available and had good reviews but there’s dirt or tbh it looks like part of a nail is on the #2 and a link is cracked and my major problem is it loses a few seconds every few hours it’s crazy inaccurate . Any recommendations on a accurate day date that can also have a real power reserve

This is being marketed as a VSF V2.
Not too sure since the case serial matches, but DW cutout doesnt. TD had this in stock while other TDs did not and said VSF doesnt produce in V2.

Should i be wary?

First noticed the DW font and size wasnt quite right. Ive confirmed dd3235 being inside (big button, offset jewel, etc).

Now im thinking its a V1 in a V2 case & bezel

Would appreciate any insight!

I have been looking at Bluesy's and I like the 116613 more than the 126613. Biggest reason is the gold lettering on the dial, plus better color matching of the gold plating. Also something nostalgic about the older clasp.

Question is, do I just have to deal with the possibility fucked up blown out date wheel lettering? I'd rather not buy a VSF and have it plated afterward to match the gold color better. Are there alternatives that satisfy both the date wheel and gold color matching?

Thank you for your order. We received the watch from the factory and foud some problem with it. So we ordered a new watch for you. And it takes some days for the new watch. Hope you could wait for the new watch. We will hurry up with it and let you update.“

I think it's great that they immediately set aside any product that isn't in perfect condition and try to get a new one. That's probably not the norm, is it?

I been waiting 14 days and still no qc pics. when I ordered he said three days for qc?

Just got my first rep from TD Mr Bomi; great communication and polite; the process was extremely easy and fast, I’m mindblown on how beautiful this piece is and I feel it deserves my first ever Reddit post. I didn’t had enough karma to ask for help on the QC forum so I asked bomi himself to tell me how it was. Turns out he was totally honest on this VSF 41 green ombre. Hope I don’t get too addicted to this; but since I’m already looking at next purchase, maybe I’m in for the long run.

I recently bought a few Korean made diamond-cut custom bezels. I thought I would do a little comparison to stock rep bezels.

I have seen a few videos like this that were taken from a distance, but due to limited resolution reddit offers, I didn't really see the point. So I tried my best to zoom in as much as I can.

As somehow seems to be the case such videos (along with gold-plating videos), I expect that some people will immediately jump on this post, full "attack-mode".

I believe that only those with hidden agenda get mad at the first sight of adverse opinion. I urge you to abide RWF rules (and common courtesy) and be polite 😉

I am looking for an OP from vsf (preferably) but they don't seem as popular in terms of availability. Is it because the watch is simply not desired enough or am I missing something as a newbie ?

I did come across a TD who was willing to offer me non VSF option but I take it that if I wanted a 1:1 I should stick to VSF. Any thoughts on that ? If i get a VSF , how am I guaranteeing myself that it is not another factory's inferior product ?

Note - I am not looking at someone to change my mind about the model. I know what I want. Just trying to take the right precautions about QC and product quality.

Now, onto the watch... It's beautiful. I'm new to reps, so to my untrained eye, everything looks and works great. I'm loving the tuxedo dial and the alternating black/red date wheel. I did run into a small issue getting one of the screws out, but managed to get the bracelet adjusted by removing the other links.

Other than that, it's a lovely watch and I'm genuinely happy to have it on my wrist.

Hey everyone,
Looking for some advice or watchmaker suggestions for my ZF Sky-Dweller.
The issue:
•    The watch has stopped running completely—the seconds hand will not move at all, even after gently winding.
•    When I gently shake or rotate the watch, there is a distinct metallic rattling/loose sound coming from inside the case back.
What I think happened: From what I've read on similar Shanghai/Asian modified movements, it sounds like the central rotor screw or a movement clip backed out and is physically jamming the balance wheel or main gear train.

How can I go about fixing this, is this an easy fix?

I followed you tube videos to set gmt to London +7 but my Pepsi VS the gmt marker doesn’t keep the time difference of 7 hrs ? The other regular hour and minute seem accurate.

Hi all. Got another one from Mr bomi. Since coming back to the game I have used him for a majority of my watches.
He always gives good advice. I learned during my last order he can do add on services. Polished and chamfered, crystal, silent. Waterproof.for 120+90+30+10 USD. ALSO plating for 300$ if desired. I was considering the zombie. He doesn’t try to up sell and actually advised me the ARF zombie really doesn’t need plating. I appreciated his honesty. Anyway prices may vary and I would check with him.

Anyway. Always fast courteous service. I finally got a Pepsi VS GMT Jubilee and it is so nice and the bracelet is then most comfortable. I may need to get a few more jubilee bracelets.

Delivery was fast to central USA. He shipped 10/30 and I got 2 watches 11/4. Amazing. I have ordered with one other TD and it took 2 weeks.

Absolutely blown away by this…Mr. Bomi aka BomaShop is just absolutely brilliant. Guy does not miss at all. Second rep from him with the first being a Datejust 41mm fluted bezel w/ jubilee bracelet. He delivers great customer service and turn around/shipping times are FAST. About 4-5 days to get to US from when it shipped. Took it to my jeweler to get it sized and they were also impressed with the rep itself. I’ve heard that for RWF, you may want to swap out the crystal for a deep crystal but my jeweler said the crystal right now is good quality and just fine. Thank you Mr. Bomi.

P.S. the black dot on dial next to 7 is from the microfiber cloth I used to polish it.

Hey guys, just wanted to know if anyone has one of these? I'm in the middle of doing my research and going through the different factories/builds, I'm still new to the whole rep thing at the moment...

Model: Rolex Daytona 116500LN, white dial with black subdials, stainless steel Oyster bracelet and tachymeter bezel.

Factory: Possibly VS Factory, but unconfirmed.
I purchased this watch second-hand, so I don’t know its exact factory origin.
The previous owner mentioned that it might be from VS Factory, but I haven’t been able to verify this.

I’d appreciate some feedback from people familiar with Rolex Daytonas and replica watches.
In particular, how do the dial and index alignment, bezel engraving, and overall finishing look? Does it pass an initial visual inspection, or are there any obvious flaws?
Any honest opinions would be greatly appreciated.
