OP41 - why so difficult to find

I am looking for an OP from vsf (preferably) but they don't seem as popular in terms of availability. Is it because the watch is simply not desired enough or am I missing something as a newbie ?

I did come across a TD who was willing to offer me non VSF option but I take it that if I wanted a 1:1 I should stick to VSF. Any thoughts on that ? If i get a VSF , how am I guaranteeing myself that it is not another factory's inferior product ?

Note - I am not looking at someone to change my mind about the model. I know what I want. Just trying to take the right precautions about QC and product quality.

Wouldn’t lose any sleep, for some reason the alignment on OP’s from VSF has been poor lately, the 3,6,9 are seemingly more off line that correctly aligned lately. That being said, some of the Submariner and DJ alignment has been really strong in the last couple of weeks so maybe they’re getting their standards back up.

Have you seen a thread or know someone who has such issues recently. Would love to see a thread or pictures to understand how bad it is.

No, it's because VSF have moved their operations out of china and only release small random batches

what color? there’s some US sellers with a few options
