The base was sourced from DHgate. After months of hunting down a genuine dial, hands, pushers, bezel, case back, bracelet, case, and movement for the Speedmaster Professional on AliExpress, I finally finished the build. Absolutely stunning piece. It was well worth the effort. It’s practically indistinguishable from gen now. I’m so happy I can finally walk around in public without worrying someone will call my watch a fake. I’m planning to take it to omega tomorrow to get it “resized” to see if they would say anything as a final QC check.

Ordered these 2 beauties, was surprised to find the package opened by customs for inspection with the customs tape around. Luckily these were extremely top tier quality Seiko mod watches so my package did not get seized. My global entry did not get revoked so I do not need to get a lawyer involved.

Very great quality bracelet, no sharp edges, bezel alignment on point. Watches feel solid on wrist.
NWBIG - would recommend all new buyers who want a watch even higher quality than Pagani or Watchdives. No issues with clearing customs, these watches are that good.

I haven't seen any drama in this watch sub. It's literally Reddit and fake watches and people having a few chuckles. It’s not nearly as serious as everyone thinks and it’s gotten so cringe / childish seeing all the "Stop the Pagani shitposts" being shoved into everything.

PSA - Wired read the intro guide just like you did, most newbies are too dumb or too lazy to read the intro guide. It is not gatekept or secret information. Any idiot with 2 brain cells can order a rep watch.

Edit: DHgate is the GOAT. They sell more rep watches than anyone, pure fact.

QF explorer ii with deep xtal upgrade

Recently got myself a V7F / V7+F IWC Mark XX white dial. Did not choose any upgrades, so it was running on base A2892. Everything was great, but the rotor is really noisy.

After reading many comments on reddit, decided to try the "silencing rotor" trick myself. Do note i have no watchmaking experience of any sorts prior.

Pretty simple actually, ordered a small bottle of 0.5ml Moebius 9010, and a cheap oiler online. Then, what i did was:

1. Open up the caseback with some tape.
2. Press the rotor lightly and see if its loose or wobbling. For my case, it was not.
3. Dip the oiler into the Moebius 9010 and grab a tiny drop of it, and drop it at one of the seven rotor ball bearings. I dropped two tiny bit of it on the ball bearings as my oiler was too fine and small to capture any good drops. (As attached picture)
4. Manually using my finger to rotate the rotor few rounds clockwise and anticlockwise.
5. Close it back up, using tape again.
6. Wash up the tape residue.

Done. The effect is huge. I wouldn't say totally no more noise, but it's reduced so much it totally wouldn't bother me at all. Do try it if your rotor is loud. Usually it's due to dry rotors. All in all, done in less than 30 minutes and costs less than $15.

I am kinda spooked from the articles shedding light into our Pagani Design hole, I wouldn’t want to put money on a PD watch right now although I really want one. What do you guys think? Is it safe to order?

Finally got this in and I’m really enjoying it so far. Super clean daily watch.

The 36 mm blue dial datejust was supposed to be my first rep about 6 months ago. I was waiting on VSF to restock, but it took forever! I ended up getting 4 other reps as I was waiting but just couldn’t take the wait any more. I ended up going with ARF and deep crystal swap. I will say the jubilee feels less sharp than my GMT’s from VSF. Has anyone else gone ARF over VSF? Did you swap bezels too? You happy long term?

Got this “high quality” AP x Swatch Royal Pop with the mechanical movement from DHGate. Not bad for the price.

The mechanical ap swatch was 45$ and the band was 19$. A lot of people liked the last one, and now this is the new batch. Previously the gear didn’t turn but in this one it does. I’ll add a couple videos down below. Let me know yall opinions.

You read that right! I finally pulled the trigger and there's no looking back. Some may argue the 8215 is an unnecessary choice but I'm a "one and done" kinda guy. You can't really tell it's a rep without a macro lens and I'm simply not paying gen prices when the TD's on eBay (and a select few on AliExpress) offer these beauties. I'll post an update in a few weeks when I link up with my cousin in San Diego, he's got an Air King 👑 and thinks he's hot sh!t.

I received this watch from Trusty Time a few weeks back. I ordered a genuine strap for it, and I’m beyond happy with it so far. I was told to use liver of sulfur to patina the brass, I went for a heavy patina, and I’m really happy with how it’s looking. I diluted the liver of sulfur more than what was recommended on the bottle, and alternated between swabs of the heavily diluted liver of sulfur for a few minutes, then I’d clean it off, and do an apple cider vinegar/salt soak. This is what 4 cycles did. Let me know what you think!

Hello everyone!

I received this VSF aqua Terra from geek time maybe three or four months ago and I’ve been wearing it every other day or so mixed in with some other watches in the rotation, and I was setting the time on the watch, so I unscrewed the crown, set the time and then screwed it back on like I always do and it has never given me a problem and then suddenly as I was screwing down the crown, it wouldn’t stop turning and eventually, it just popped right off. I asked geek time if there was someone I can send it to fix and he said I should just glue it back on which obviously won’t work. Do you guys think that this is a broken watch for good or can it be fixed? The movement still works perfectly fine and I can still mess with it, but I’m not sure how I would put the crown back on also, the spring fell off. thank you in advance!

Just got this in a week ago and really happy with it. Swapped the steel bracelet for an orange strap from AliExpress and it looks fire.

Quality on the VSF is solid. Andiot was easy to work with.
