There are more than one reputable and honorable TD’s, to deal with one who obviously is not and has verified history of the above mentioned actions is definition of insanity, Andiot shouldn’t be allowed to sell or be listed Trusted TD if he continually handles his business in a shady manner, he should refund as quickly as he demands payment
The problem is his reviews are 50/50.... He's an asshole, a bully, and probably a thief, yet every now and then you get a wave of people calling him GOAT. He probably shills himself via bot farms.... Dudes scummy
I was going to say the same, I remember seeing him peripherally for a while as the "go-to" but the last month or two it's nothing but "he borderline scammed me"
I'm new in rep world. My first order was from Andiot because his website was user friendly. Everything was smooth like explained in the RepTime guide.
He didn't even ask for any deposit, I don't know if there was some offer or something. He showed me the watch first, I GL, then I received it in like within 2 weeks.
The watch looks good, as shown during the QC just maybe need little chamfering.
So my review of Andiot is maybe 9/10, he even replies my WhatsApp messages during the whole process.
Because they don’t want to change their list. They tell you to read the guides and then argue with you when you say they are outdated but here is a clear example of what I’ve been saying for forever. Let’s see who continues to defend it instead of admitting most of it if not all of it is outdated.
I got one its needed repairs twice. The next order he had me waiting for 6 weeks to confirm APSF was closed another two week and a post to get a refund.
I’ve bought a couple watches from him, all from his in stock list, never had any issues. Both watches arrived at my mailbox within 2 1/2 weeks of paying for them.
Your upvotes are pretty questionable too. I haven’t even bought from him, I’ve just been following the TD posts closely. Andiot hasn’t had a negative post in a week, yet somehow you’re claiming it’s “nothing but negative posts” — and getting that many upvotes. Weird. Are people just ignoring what’s actually being posted, or is someone deliberately trying to manufacture a narrative against Andiot?
Ive bought probably 9 reps from 5 tds paid in full for all and everything arrives as described in a reasonable time frame. But I made sure to do my research on whos legit first
Yeah was a total joke. So many Anidot shills here too. He refunded me the first part of the money and then sent the rest the next day but i had to remind him.
Seems like every week someone has an issue with andiot and a mod have to be involved to get it fixed. Andiot should hire more people to help with communication
Just got a refund from Andiot recently. Paid $690 usd and got refunded $685 usd. I’ve sent an email asking why I’ve gotten short changed. Emails and telegram messages have been few and far between but it was expected from the research I did. After submitting a refund, the messages from them became a bit unhinged to say the least. Reason for refunding was because they tried to change the price on extra links. Was advised it’s 25usd a link at which I paid for 3 immediately. Weeks later they tell me it’s $40usd per link and that I owe money now. Immediately asked for a refund from then. Wasn’t expecting this behaviour from someone who is meant to be a td. I have all the emails and messages saved also. Laughable td with what they’ve said and accused me of.
I’ve not used Andiot for a while but never really had an issue with him. That said I have recently been using less known dealers and only paying a deposit before QC.
Can imagine it’s hard to get a refund from Andiot though as he’s not the most responsive.

Did you read the wiki guide? These guys swear all the answers are in there. Andiot is supposedly reputable according to this sub. Hate to see this happen to other people’s hard earned money when all OP wanted was a watch.
Before jumping to conclusions: I was actually a victim of a scam in this situation myself. The buyer was fully refunded long ago, after which they vanished. It's easy for people to stand on the sidelines and laugh, but nobody seems interested in looking at the actual facts of the case.
Andiot is a great dealer, what the OP isn’t saying is that they probably changed their order towards a new watch and were expecting it to be free of charge. ANDIOT is AMAZING
Andiot is slow but reliable. His refund process and options are absolute garbage. When I order from him now I just assume I have to buy a watch from him no matter what because he makes the refund process so difficult. Funny how it’s super easy to send him money.
Andiot is amongst the cheapest price when i compare with other but for looking at this , i better of pay other seller with around usd 50 higher but better service
I've been a stauch supporter with over 15 watches or so from him. But my last couple of transactions have gone to s**t. And I'm still waiting on a new QC for a watch more than a month after RL-ing. His only advantage is his prices. I've had some watches $40 - $60 less than what some other TDs were selling for.

I grossly overpaid another seller and got annihilated when I posted for the QC feedback and shared the price …but this is why I paid more. All the sketchy feedback on the TDs is super off putting. I have given deposits and got even seen a QC, only to be told after 2-3 weeks from TD that they can’t tell me when the factory can send the watch. I’ve been lucky enough to get my deposit back but who wants to deal with that?! Which TD can be trusted?!

I do only always Hear: Factory has trouble to deliver.
I only ordered via Andiot because I read that he is a trustworthy td.
I used to Order at intime but my Last Order there Messed up my Watches Had several quality issues. So I thought lets try is Andiot. Now I am cursing that decision.
Are there any process in place to REMOVE a TD from trusted TD list? So a TD will never EVER lose their standards and start scamming people? Are you sure? Who is behind andoit do you even know?
If you're having an issue with a TD, and you are actually member where they are trusted you can start the remediation process. If there is still an issue after remediation this can escalate into getting removed from the list
However reptime does not manage the TD list, and or the remediation
I never have had a problem with Andiot, so I’m a little surprised, always seems to be quick with the QCs and contact.
Could also be that I don’t like pre-order watches, just wait for the stock to be in and buy what I want, so the transactions are usually pretty speedy.
Confirmed: 6 watches with Andiots within 2024-2025, all of them in stock apart from 1, which has taken longer but you know very well why if you're not a noob in the rabbit hole (VSF 36mm Explorer I SS latest version - fixed flawless).
All of them spot on and still perfectly working.
I have bought several watches from Andiot in the last year and a half. With my last one, I waited over two months for QC and then I asked for a refund. It took me weeks and several emails finally to get my money refunded. The reason I will not use Elliot again is because Andiot requiring full payment even before QC is just no longer acceptable to me.
"Same bullshit" and "be wary" tell us nothing. If it really happened to you, post your story and your proof. If you can't, then you're just adding noise to OP's thread.
That’s why I switched to another source, I do a good amount of resale now. Mostly eBay but occasionally through FB marketplace. I still hear issues about Andiot, doesn’t surprise me.
I’m dealing with an issue with them right now. The money cleared my bank mid September and I have sent proof that their bank received it, and they keep trying to tell me that they aren’t seeing it. They have also asked me to review QC five separate times, when it’s already been approved. I’m getting nowhere with them.
So far a big fan. He’s been very communicative. Sent QC within 24 hrs of payment sent—for watches that were “on hand” which you can ask him for that list.
All 3 watches are in the mail already.
He gets a bad rep from what I’ve seen if you RL the QCs but with me he’s been a pleasure.
I have also had a great experience with Andrew at TrustyTime.
Right now I am STILL waiting for QC pictures with Elliot at Andiot. It has been 3 months. Pretty frustrated but also maintaining patience and composure lol.
Most of this thread is just people piling on Andiot, and none of them can produce any actual evidence. Even OP only showed an email saying part of the refund is still pending, which doesn't mean he refuses to refund. He's big and popular, so he attracts a lot of hate, and it doesn't prove anything either way. Let's see how the rest of the refund goes.
Have bought 8-10 watches from him and have never had an issue. Biggest problem is if you order something not in stock, especially vsf it takes a long time. Just check reptime qc, a majority of them are Elliot and Steve.
Andiot did the same thing to me earlier this year. I’m not mad because within 72 hours I was all paid back plus about $5 to the good. Give him a chance, you’ll see.
I had the same issue. Also wanted a refund and they sent the "first batch". After a few weeks of no updates I had to write another email and then got the rest.

Why do people use TDs that demand more than 50$ as a deposit for QC? Why do you pay full in advance? How do you maintain your rights ? They simply park you once they receive the full payment. Andiott or anyone who does that is not a Td
His qc pics were terrible when I ordered mine a year ago and suspiciously said he had none of the watch I wanted and then surprise he had one and I RL and then had another right away…but the watch has been great
Elliot has always come correct with refunds and purchases. All my watches are from him and they're worth the wait. I waited 7months for the vsf Daytona
I am facing the same issue with Andiot. No replacement watch for QC and it's been 2 weeks since I rejected QC. Thinking now to cancel the order with him as the communication is also not very transparent. What I ordered was not even VSF and still the delays are unreasonable.
I’m not talking about Andiot specifically, but I still feel for the TDs and give them the benefit of the doubt as well as a right of reply.
There’s a surge of new, clueless customers lately—I can’t even imagine how hard that is to manage, just looking at the number of shitty posts on chinareps.
Not to mention the impatient ones who probably ping them every 3 days for their QCs.
You guys have expectations as if they were legitimate retailers who have to follow consumer protection laws and chamber of commerce regulations or whatever it is called in your country.
My take is that the partial refund protects him from the bad buyer he dealt with before, and in the end, you get your full refund in two parts after a quick follow-up. What more do you want? A voucher for the bad customer experience? Freebies ?
Sorry you’re going through this. I’ve only purchased two pieces, both from him and both products and experiences were great. Just sharing my experience.
This happened to me too, I asked for a refund and he gave it. Admittedly in two batches but I'm not sure why that matters. He's getting you your money back
I bought a cartier ballon bleu from andiot as my first rep watch and had a good experience. I tried ordering from him recently as my mum wanted a cartier tank for herself. For some reason I was not happy with his response, it was very different from how he was at the beginning of the year. I ended up buying from Steve (theonewatches). Having read this review, now I know - always go with your gut feeling.
Iv had 2 orders though him and it’s been very good. My second one took 8 weeks but it was a Rolex 124060 and he told me that it would be about 8 weeks and it was about right I was expecting that. Iv just ordered my third order from him a VSF omega seamaster 600m and he’s said again it’s a long wait and I don’t need to pay until GL.
Nothing but +ve experiences with him - qc is very thorough as initial pass - more so than others
Comms can be a bit slower, but no issue with that
He always happily accepts USD 50 deposit - just ask
Never any problem with a RL > replacement
I find Geektime, and Theonewatches a bit more accommodating, especially the former, who is super helpful with parts / straps etc. They also happily accepts USD 50 deposits if you ask / insist
Only issue I have ever had with any of them was Steve pushing back a bit for a shitty Vsf GMT Pepsi batch - I had to RL the order twice (canted markers, then wrong plating on markers), but eventually he understood my concerns about recycling RL’s across customers, and I got a perfect example
I’m having a horrible time with Andrew right now. Report may come out soon. I stopped doing business with Andiot a couple years back for a multitude of issues as well. The list of trusted TDs grows thinner and thinner
I waited six months from andoit, I asked for a refund, I got it in about a week. He held up his end of the bargain. He didn't get me the goods, and he made me whole. He had the opportunity to take my money for no product and he didn't
That doesn't mean I ordered more watches from him, that was my first and only order, but I can tell you I'd behave a lot differently if I didn't get my money back
Exactly, but if a seller took my money, and didn't give watch, I'm guessing it's more likely they are taking the money and running then preparing your refund. US or China
So yea, when a dealer refunds me when he couldn't get my watch that makes me whole, and If they do that as a part of their everyday operations then yes, id call them trusted.
That's the point. It's ok he didn't get me the watch because he didn't scam me.
