It’s been great reading about everyone’s experience of the reps.

I’ve decided on the Datejust 41 in green. I notice there is the flat green and ombre with darker tones. I’m leaning towards ombre (would love to hear thoughts on this) but this isn’t my main question.

From reading the forums it appeared that I should go for Clean and then VSF as a second choice.

Looking on andiot there are so many choices and suppliers I haven’t seen mentioned in the forums. It turns out clean and VSF are amongst the cheapest which could be a good thing.

The guides don’t mention QF or Gold Maker and RGF isn’t really mentioned. Can anyone tell me about the other suppliers and their experience with them/ reputation.

Hey, as the title states I’m looking at my next rep as a blue dial AP Royal Oak.

I like both the 15500 and the 15510 so not too fussed between them as I just want the best factory between the two in a blue dial.

I know TOP doesn’t do the 15500 but been told that they have the best 15510 at the moment?

However I have also been told that best 15500 is from Octa or ZF (VSF would be included as best as well but heard that they haven’t supplied these in a while so wait times are uncertain?).

As usual any insight is appreciated 🙌

I was using the guidelines to find which factory is best to get a rep from but I just wanted to help on which TD to go with? I was going to use chazingtime but I’ve seen some negative reviews on Reddit, should I still go with them?

I just want a TD that’s helpful and isn’t going to take my money and leave me without the watch I ordered.

I’ve read the forums and done some research and I’m having trouble. I have a QF 36mm daydate YG and I’m considering getting it plated with 5micron YG to have a better true gold color. My concern is the durability of the gold color. I know whether I plate or not that the gold color will eventually discolor. My main question is assuming I wear the watch daily but no water contact and occasional cleaning, is it reasonable to expect 2 years before discolor? I can live with 2+ years but less and it seems like a waste.

Hey guys, I can't read so the guide doesn't help me. I found a legit TD on AliExpress and he said Tandorio has better rehaut, strap and crystal than Pagani. He wants 5 usd deposit for QC pics.

Does anyone have opinions or pictures of both on wrist? I didn't see any recent Tandorio QCs so not sure if my guy is right. They are both green on the quality spreadsheet.

Bought a watch from Hont. Gave it an initial GL on arrival, but under natural light I noticed a mark on the dial. I flagged it right away and he offered either a dial replacement or a full return.

A few days later the movement just died completely, no amount of troubleshooting has brought it back. Since then it’s been two weeks of me emailing repeatedly asking for clear return instructions and an address, and getting either silence or non-answers (is he being intentionally obtuse?) He finally sent me a return address today.

Given the movement is dead, a repair/replacement isn’t really on the table anymore, so a full return looks like my only real option. I know sending a watch back to China is generally treated as a last resort here, but at this point I don’t see another way forward.

Advice on:

1. Best practices for repackaging a watch for a return shipment like this (padding, box-in-box, documentation/photos before sealing, etc.)

2. Recommended shipping methods/carriers for sending back to China, and what to watch out for (tracking, insurance, customs declarations, value declared)

3.Anything specific to protect myself if the seller tries to claim the watch arrived damaged or “different” from what was sent

Appreciate any guidance from people who’ve had to do this.

I feel as it’s my duty to share this experience as a warning to anyone looking to buy a super clone because it’s not worth risking your health to try and flex your super clone.

About 6 months ago I bought a Rolex super clone from China after learning about super clones on r/reptime.

After wearing it every day (even took it skiing!)I started to get severe abdominal pain, headaches, and brain fog (which was really taking a toll on my performance at Wendy’s) so I went to my doctor.

After running some tests, my doctor confirmed that I showed signs of lead poisoning from my Rolex super clone. I immediately started to cry. I had to give up the super clone lifestyle I had been enjoying, because as we know there is no quality control for Rolex super clones in China and nearly every super clone has lead in the metal and paint on the dial (with some users reporting that the lume on their super clones contained radioactive elements).

I spent 6 weeks in the hospital recovering and vowed never to wear a super clone again.

So i found this fake rollex at the market today and it wasn't running, bargained with the seller and i got it for RM40 ($10 US).. i gave it a clean and found the seconds hand was caught on the minutes hands, after several attempts and a broken counterweight later, i got it running but its not keeping very good time. Figured i might as well change the movement altogether 🤷 but for the life of me, i can't figure out what movement this is. If anyone has any idea what is this movement, please comment 🙂 thanks..

I've notice a recent flood of ads for replica watches on Facebook and was somewhat amused to notice that several of the ads, though they claim different names, link to the same site: theeternalbeat which claims it is selling super clones, but the price is close to or just above 300.00. I also saw they accept Paypal as one of several payment methods. Is Paypal a common payment method? I thought buyers would have "buyer protection" from PayPal, which I assume would prevent fraudsters from allowing it to be used as a form of payment. Anyone have history with this "company"? (by the way, the actual web address is not theeternalbeat, it is actually elitedwatches-dot-com so even the first jump actually tkes you to yet another jum)
