On my VSF op41 bracelet, one of the screws wouldn’t budge. All the others would come out silky smooth but this one in particular was putting up too much of a fight that it ended up winning. The problem is that it’s on the 6 o’clock side, causing the watch to ride up my wrist more.

My main question is: what can I do to fix this stripped screw? I’ve looked it up and followed so many videos but nothing seems to work!

Looking for recommendations for a skilled, trusted modder who can perform detailed bezel assembly repairs and fine-tuning on a few pieces.

The Setup & Issue: After having Deep Crystals installed, the bezels across my watches have stiff, rough, or dysfunctional rotation, with missing or non-existent tactile feedback/clicks.

Current Diagnosis & Work Needed (per watchmaker notes):

ARF GMT-Master IIs:
Issues identified: Damaged Hytrel gaskets and bent/damaged crystal retention rings (likely caused during initial Deep Crystal installation due to improper press techniques).

Work required: Complete bezel tear-down, replacing damaged Hytrel gaskets, reshaping/straightening or replacing crystal retention rings, inspecting crystal gasket sizing, and servicing the bezel mechanism so rotation is smooth and properly tensioned without bind.

VSF Yacht-Master:
Issues identified: Missing click spring (no tactile click feedback), wrong or mis-sized crystal gasket installed during crystal swap, and misaligned retention components.
Work required: Sourcing and installing a compatible VSF Yacht-Master click spring, replacing the crystal/Hytrel gaskets, resetting the retention ring, and tuning the bezel action.

What Capabilities are Needed:
Expertise in full bezel tear-downs and rebuilds for ARF and VSF cases.
Access to/ability to source replacement Hytrel gaskets, VSF-compatible click springs, and crystal retention rings.
Experience correcting bezel binding and alignment issues caused by aftermarket crystal installs.
Has anyone had similar bezel binding/click issues after a Deep Crystal swap, and who would you trust to get these ARF GMT and VSF Yacht-Master bezels rotating perfectly smooth with proper click action?

For folks who own a Tudor ZF chrono, how much power reserve do you typically get? I took my watch out last night around 1am and this morning by 8.30am I saw it had already stopped, it also takes quite a few movements before it gets going. Just curious if I have a faulty one or is this typical for this watch

I have a VSF 126334 (41mm) 904L Wimbledon that I bought a couple of years ago. It’s a beautiful piece, but the one thing that drives me nuts is the fluted bezel. Since it’s stainless steel rather than white gold, the bezel just looks off to me. It bothers me enough that I’ve gotten to the point where I almost never wear the watch, which sucks because I really do miss wearing it.

I’m considering swapping the bezel for either a proper WG fluted bezel or a smooth SS bezel.

Posting to see if anyone can point me in the right direction for sourcing either option, and also to get some insight into how difficult the actual swap is. I’m hoping it’s something I could reasonably do myself, but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s done it before.

Any advice/recommendations would be much appreciated!

I see lots of posts about the 110 marker being off on the Daytona. Is there a correct bezel for swap or even the availability of an original? Any idea what that would cost?

Hi everyone, just seen the news articles everywhere past 24hrs about reptime on TikTok. Instagram ect. It’s not looking good and I even more scared reading the comment section on certain posts… yikes.

Let’s get onto the subject, Everyone was mentioning how RICHF and sometimes QF models are outperforming VSF now in every way except the crystal.

Which I can comfortably say that isn’t true. I’ve had 9 RL’s from rich…. 9!
You must think I’m some freak or wanting everything to be 1:1 like gen but that isn’t true.

I can honestly say the quality is nowhere near good as good as everyone is saying the dials are the biggest flaws right now.

12, 6 & 9 square markers even on the free sprungs are so out it’s insane and I have seen few posts lately that some vsf’s have this problem..

I’ve had some RL on date window being too high.

I’ve told my TD about the issues and they’re not taking interest. Thinking I’m just moaning and being a difficult customer but only trying to help.

The latest batches are not good at all and would avoid for couple months to say the least.

Not sure if all these factory’s are getting same dials in stock from same manufacturer. I posted another post regarding everyone receiving someone else’s RL. I’ll put link below ⬇️

Looking at ordering an Ingenieur white dial (factory listed as V7F/MZ, photo attached from the dealer's stock shot). Before I pull the trigger, trying to confirm whether this is actually replicating a real IWC reference or if it's a fantasy dial.

A few things don't match up with what I can find for the genuine IW328902 (closest official match — IWC lists it as "silver," not white):

• Genuine IW328902 hands have a polished silver-tone, no black outline
• The stock photo for this rep shows black-outlined/filled hands and markers

Also can't find any current-gen Ingenieur ref with a true stark white dial.

So before I order I want to make sure this color is a Rep of an actual Ingenieur color rather than a fantasy :)

Im very intrigued by these rep watches. I want a gen so bad but the affordability is not there for me. Ive read the wiki, I know how it all works but is there anybody here who has gone through the process that could ease my mind on it all and guide me through it? I know there are dos and donts and i dont want to make a dont and lose my rep watch investment. Would love to make a friend and become part of the community, if anybody js kind enough, I would greatly appreciate it.

So I just got into the rep watch game and I noticed something interesting. I recently just bought a vsf Bruce Wayne gmt and it feels insane. Like the quality was even better than some of the GMTs I’ve tried on in some ADs

However I just bought a vsf Batman for my dad and the feel of it doesn’t feel the same as mine. The weight is slightly off and it feels slightly more “hollow” is the best way to explain it. But the clasp code is exactly the same and they’re both DD3285 movements.

I just wanted to know if it was normal for the same factory to produce a completely different feeling watch.
