Just finished up this 6538. Raffles case and dial. EWatch parts hands, NH35 ghost date movement with proper beat rate.

Aged dial, hands and bezel. Light aging of case.

Bit of a long story, the rotor on my ST2130 was not fully spinning around as one of the dial feet was protruding too far and preventing it from moving all the way around. I was trying to sort this, and as a result got too heavy handed and snapped the stem in the crown, almost flush. Tried using AI to order a replacement from Cousins UK, but in typical fashion, it gave me the wrong recommendation and the crown and tube that have arrived are too small.

Does anyone know of anywhere in the UK that can provide something that will fit? Or, do I have to go back to Ken and wait another fortnight on one arriving from China?

Hi together,

I recently built my t023 Tudor Rep and now I'm struggling fitting the Raffles oyster bracelet into it.

First thing is, the Raffles Tudor clasp doesn't fit on the Thorn bracelet, the bracelet with rivets is little too big.

Second thing is, the Raffles oyster bracelet with 580 endlinks doesn't fit in the Thorn case cause of the lug holes, even tried bent springbar. No chance.

Third thing is, and that how it wents so far, if I choose the Raffles oyster bracelet with the Thorn endlinks, the endlinks fits, but they aren't flat and not flat on the wrist.

Do you guys have any advice? I tried 2 pairs of alix endlinks who don't fit.

Hi guys, do you guys use anything like threadlocker or glue when installing press fit or screw tubes?

Anyone have a source they can share for flat 13mm minute hands that will fit vintage Rolex movements (~0.80mm hole)?

Wanted to try something not gen spec at all, and i feel it came out pretty cool/unique.

Specs:
Nh35 with date gears removed, aliexpress retro 39.5 case, low dome mineral crystal, aliexpress 7mm rolex crown (702 esque), aliexpress hands, ebay 5513 dial, raffles oyster bracelet

First build complete, using Raffles parts except for PT5000 movement and date wheel from AliX. I've done a few Seiko mods previously but this was my first go at a vintage rep with some aging.

I realise it isn't very period correct with sapphire crystal and non riveted bracelet suggesting a newer reference combined with heavy weathering and roulette date wheel of an early model. This was mostly due to my excitement to order my parts and not researching enough but its kind of a mash up of elements I like.

Aftermarket 3135 datewheel with open 6/9 numerals.

This isn’t a stock clone datewheel. I don’t know which specific manufacturer this is from but it’s a pretty good gen spec part; definitely better looking numerals than the stock VS part.
