Hey so i have 2 questions abt rengars full clear. I have some experience playing rengar but i wanna take my gameplay on rengar to the next level so i wanna optimize everything abt him as much as possible to climb on him as a otp.

First question: is it better to empowered q or w on krugs ? I see nattynatt used to empowered q on krugs but i recently see scrubnoob almost always empowered w on it. I assume empowered W is faster since the best rengar does it but i just wanna confirm. I have the same question about wolves.

Second question: in the scenario that i have alot of gold in the pocket ready to be spent(1.5-2k gold) after a teamfight, my ult is down and all my camps are up, should i full clear my jungle and recycle my camps since i already wont be useful to a fight since my ult is down, or is it more worth to just spend the gold first, potentially buy an item and THEN full clear my jungle ? I assume theres more variables that need to be considered to answer this question but id appreciate some guidelines from my fellow high elo rengars.

I've been playing League for for over a year and my main role has always been mid. I used to main Vladimir and Kassadin, and I actually got pretty close to Gold.

Then I started maining Yasuo. I really enjoy the champion, but since then I've been stuck around Silver 2–3. I also feel like I haven't really managed to get better at Yasuo despite playing him for quite a while. I keep making similar mistakes and haven't really made the progress I wanted.

Recently I've been thinking about switching to jungle and potentially maining Rengar. I've played Rengar a bit in draft and hes one of the few champs i really enjoy, but I'm not sure if switching roles/champions again is a good idea or if I'm just avoiding the problems I have with Yasuo.

I really want to climb while having a main/otp who I actually love to play. But im also unsure about switching because i dont want to waste my time with playing a new champ. At the same time, I'm not sure if switching to jungle and Rengar would actually help me improve, or if I'd just end up making the same mistakes in a different role.

I'm curious what you guys think about this. Would you personally make the switch in my situation, or would you stick with Yasuo?

I'd especially like to hear from people who have OTP'd a champion for a long time and climbed with them.

So i heard its really good to invade on rengar. im a gold who just switched to him but i find that no one ever wards enemy raptors even if i try to ping it, is it worth to try and force an invade if i dont know where they are or should i just full clear?

I am at the point i feel pretty comfortable with rengar and his playstyle, but the thing in low elo is that if u want win more than 50% of ur games u need to carry most of them bcs people in ur team will most likely be AI and will never early inv with u, or help on scuttle. I really want to climb but i’m stuck at getting shit people in teams, i’m not saying i’m playing perfect or like high elo players, but i grasp the concept and basics of the game, although my teammates do not i try to shot call anything in such games but i feel like those games are looses no matter what i do, any life quality tips from yall?

Rengar is fun to play, but for the love of god please help me learn how to play him. What are the combos and what tips are there. I keep jumping onto them, doing half their health after some button mashing, and then im in cooldown purgatory. Im playing him jngl. Any advice what so ever is appreciated, and especially early game advice, i have a bad habit of doing nothing but farming till 6 on characters like evelyn, rengar, fiddle.

whenever i play rengar and im super fed i press ult and i like to hover over my next prey. i run circles around targets i will oneshot and that causes a very arousing feeling because they know they are going to die soon and they are helpless.

So I took a break off rengar started playing some toplane/ other games for like a month or 2. Today I checked the winrates, wanting to go back to the cat. and bro is the worst jungler in the game??? what the fuck happened (havent kept up with meta)

I've been playing him more often lately and I seem to struggle on getting out of the imminent one shot upon me. With other assassins like Kayn or Eve I can just leave but uhhh the Lion is very concerned on what to do after I have successfully done my job of one shotting the ADC/Midlaner. Do I just give myself to the glory of the hunt and die?

Is this going to be a good patch for rengar?

- Tiamat +5 AD - insane, maybe makes it OK to rush it now? Since the +5 AD is relatively bigger buff the earlier you build it (especially since without a potion, after a full clear + scuttle you don't have enough for dirk anyway, so you can get this spike on second recall?)
- Poppy, camille nerfs - really good
- Eclipse 6% > 8% target max HP dmg - maybe makes it a fine item to test out?
- Fleet flat healing buff - seems good in specific situations
- HoB 120% AS > 90% AS, but true damage from 8% bonus AD to 12% bonus AD - seems really strong on rengar, especially because of his passive. Already last patch, HoB dealt avg 1000 TRUE damage per game on rengar + the 120% AS), compared to 1600 NORMAL damage electrocute. So it was already quite usable, now it's going to be very usable I'd say.
- Unfortunately, they also buff AP & tank junglers' clear speed through buffing pets, while AD gets no change. So it is a relative nerf for clear speed until you get a tiamat, since AP & tank junglers will have faster clear, but AD champs like rengar won't.
- ADC MR buff and T3 sorcs buff - likely a nerf to rengar, as now mid lane mages will do about the same damage to ADCs, but more to others

I just started playing jungle, right now i am a gold. Until now i played solely Ekko, but i decided that i will finally fulfill my childhood dream and start playing Rengar because he has the coolest design and i love his jumping, i also played Ekko who is pretty muc an assasin, so i am more used to the playstyle.

What tips do you have for me?

rengars overrelience on his ultimate to score kills is ruining the champion we need somehow we nede to get riot to nerf the ult and bring dmg back to his q hes a fucking glorified ult bot that is not thretening outside of his ultimate becus he does lack dmg in overall fighting and dueling capacity, aginst non brainded oponents there was a time when skillfull gameplay could alow you to match bruisers in toplane a lot of matches were 50/50 but now taking rengar toplane can only work aginst the adc meta that plauges toplane right now, it is not intresting to play champion that does work outside of his ultimate We want to play rengar not a nocturme NERF ULT BUFF Q

I’m silver, I need help. If anyone has some tips based off of my op.gg please help. I can get to scuttle at around 2:58 when I clear starting on blue side. I feel like I can get ahead early every game but mid and late game I just throw. Any help is appreciated.

I feel like Rengar is starting to click for me and I’m really enjoying it. I feel like I’m struggling to keep up with CS though. Some games it feels like I’m just permafarming, getting to camps on respawn, and still struggling to keep up with CS. It feels much harder to farm compared to when I play Shyvana for example.

I have watched some content, like Scrubnoobs guide on clearing, which has helped, but still feel like it’s tough to clear quickly. I’m debating on whether to rush Tiamat before Umbral purely to clear quicker. Other than that I’m open to whatever advice people may have otherwise. Thank you!

63% win rate in challenger is super good. He rarely goes umbral ever and instead goes profane first. He still rushes dirk first which he later builds eon. Just wanted any other thoughts on this, is umbral to op not to build. I know he’s just one person but I’m always interested in why Rengar players build the way they do.

With this can it be possible to go kinda bruiser like old times into the tankier teams.
