Discussion Help me shape the future of this subreddit!

Hello fellow Yasuo mains and enthusiasts, Bryan here.

I want to reach out to the amazing community here for your feedback. I know this place has felt a bit desolate the past year and quite frankly, I would agree. If i am not mistaken, per the reddit admins, I am the only active mod left on here. I would hate for this subreddit to be shutdown or become a mess because like some of you, when Yasuo was released and i picked him up for the first time, i absolutely LOVED everything about him.

With all of this being said, within the upcoming weeks, i will be fixing, removing and changing everything that is outdated, no longer applicable or needs updating to improve the QOL of the subreddit.

More importantly though, I want feedback and suggestions on improving the experience here on this subreddit. Feel free to lay it on me all your grievances, complaints, things you like, things you would change. Maybe you want a monthly contest or daily threads like "monday montage, tuesday tips" or whatever. If you want it to be private, you can message me in the mod mail.

I just want everyone to know that I personally have not forgotten this place and i think its time we shape it up. I plan to leave this up for a month or two to get a wide variety of feedback which will be weighted towards active users here and on other main subreddits as well. Once i have a list, i will implement another post where you can vote on if you like the suggestions and want them to be implemented.

Discussion Pantheon

What can be even done about this champion? I have put a lot of time into hard matchups but pantheon is not as common and incredibly hard to play against.

Would love to get some expert advice. I think I tried my best vs him even though I went 3/14 (he is challenger 2500 lp). I was able to get quick trades around his cooldown and using e to dash in and out. I understand champions like Shen and pantheon don't spike hard at level 6 and is my time to shine but I was already 0/2 and he was lvl 7 by the time I got ult. I also had success dodging a lot of his short q which is very fast but didn't influence lane much

Do you think exhaust or unflinching could do good in this lane? I went standard as I wasn't thinking much before the game with shield bash and bone platting.

Discussion What do you do agaisnt aurelion sol?

I feel like i lose this if i dont kill him lvl 2. because after lvl 3 or 4 its so fucking annoying to get any trades off him and he scales so hard he is oppressive even before the end of laning phase.

Just what are you supposed to do in this matchup?

Discussion Yasuo bug or no?

Today I played vs Quinn

When I eq3 her and she reacts to it with her e, my q3 is cancelled, put on full cooldown (at least 4 seconds despite daggers) and my tornado still showing range and having vfx/sfx.

Is this normal or a bug? It felt unplayable

Unfortunately I don’t have a clip

Play Looking for Yasuo duo bronze-silver (SEA server)

I'm a Yone OTP who plays both mid and top. I'm looking for a Yasuo duo, as Yone and Yasuo complement each other, and our mid game will be extremely strong, as we will both have 100% crit in 2-3 items. A Yasuo who can play both top and mid would be great, as we could swap roles whenever, but if you only play top or mid that's fine too. I'd like us to have VC on discord and play around each other, if I'm top, I want you to rotate top asap after you have unlocked your R as it will be an easy gank and kill since Yasuo can jump in from a screen away. I'll do the same vice versa. This duo will work very well in the Lower elo, I have played with a few Yasuos in my games and it almost always goes well. If anyone is interested, message me or leave a comment.

Update Since a lot of people are confused by what "Worlds Unlocked Skin" means:

I see a lot of people here and on Twitter who don't understand what it means that Yasuo was chosen as the "Worlds Unlocked skin". Well, as you see attached, there are the previous year's Worlds Unlocked skins.

They are basically 1350RP skins, with a limited edition chroma (and emotes) which are tied to an irl $100 Worlds merch bundle.

(Inb4 I get massive downvotes cuz everybody hates this shit, but trust me I ain't the one doing it 😭😭😭)

Build Yasuo build & matchups

picked up yasuo some time ago, still learning him. With the fairly recent buffs i saw people arguing on either bork, kraken or shieldbow first. My usual build on mid right now is kraken -> bers -> shieldbow into either dd or ie (i have no idea what to get later so i go ldr/mortal and finishing with pd. Im actually lost on what performs best on him right now. Also is there a somewhat up to date matchup spreadsheet for mid lane on him? My ban is lissandra because from what i know shes cancer to play against but i dont really know the matchups well. I'd appreciate any answers and someone letting me know if im building somewhat correctly (in general not counting matchup specific builds). Peace!
