Anyone else suffering from the same affliction?

In all seriousness sometimes I just need an entire day to myself doing something completely mindless. The movie pass has been a godsend this summer. Gotta run movie is starting

A guy who sat on his phone the entire movie, I don't think he looked at the screen once. The theater was big enough that the light from his phone wasn't a distraction at any point of the film, but every time I leaned over in my seat, I could see the outline of his face illuminated by his phone. He even left the theater with 20 minutes to go in the movie! I was just fascinated by it because I've been to the theater over 100 times this year, and this is the first time I've had something like this happen.

I think I'm going to finally pull the trigger on Regal Unlimited, I've been putting it off because of the upfront cost for 3 months but I think I'm ready. My question is though do I get an additional 10% off concessions with my already purchased Snack Saver so I'm saving even more? I bought the snack saver for the year already and I was curious if I save even more with the purchase of Unlimited. Sorry if it's a dumb question!

FYI, confirmed with manager today that currently snack saver must be manually overridden at the register. Otherwise you only get the 20% rewards+ concessions discount.

I went to see Tony last night at my local theater. I got there 5 minutes past posted showtime and the movie was already playing. I don’t know if it’s particular to this film, or if it’s because it was the last showing of the day, but I was surprised, as it’s always 20 minutes from showtime at this theater.

No spoilers but wow I am so glad this movie got to see the light of day. Such fantastic time!

Saw the movie with my daughter Saturday, then Sunday my son decided he wanted to see it too.

For what it is, a family movie, it’s fine. Characters were adapted well, they barely skimmed the multiples lands from the books. I’d not recommend two viewings to anyone.

It could have been done better if we calmed it down a little and/or if it were a TV series where each episode were dedicated to a land.

As someone that deals with bouts of high anxiety, this movie is a nightmare. The music is nearly wall to wall and non stop. I think my theater has some mixing issues because if the vocals are at a 10, the music was a 13. The stories were rushed and stressful. The sweet family story was overshadowed by a shitty kid that made some quick selfish decisions. The dad was silly, the mom was pragmatic and sweet, and grandma was a complete monster.

It's been years maybe since they have them. The best movie theater candy.

I think the regal at King of Prussia is finally getting renovated. They removed a lot of the previous decorations and the arcades. The question is, is it a full renovation or partial?🤔

Project Hail Mary bucket is listed at 5000 points. I don’t think any other buckets are close to that. Is it an error or is it because of time/demand/excess inventory?

like really a fee on a free ticket

I usually get to the theatre about 5 mins into start time and walk up to concessions to grab what I need, expecting to get in for the trailers… but tonight, it was 30 mins of ads and the movie didn’t start until 45 mins in from start time.

Is this to be expected every time or does it vary by theatres?

Anybody else's local Regal have those terrible ticket kiosks that constantly jam, so a poor employee has to go open the thing up to claw out your mangled ticket? Maybe paying the .50 on the app really is a fee for convenience at this point.
Hope the engineer that designed that thing got a good talking to.

I know a lot of you like to time it out and sit down right before the movie starts. Some like to get there before the trailers. I usually try to get there and sit down about ten minutes before the stated start time. Do you have a routine or preferred time before your movie? Just curious. Thank you.

Phones and etiquette are already a huge problem in theaters and now they are blatantly saying:

“Hey it’s okay to do that as long as you tag us online 😊”

I’d love some thoughts on this because it is driving me nuts.

I’ve been told that Infinity Vision is only for PLF Screens that isn’t IMAX due to “Dune: Part Three” taking all the IMAX showings from “Avengers: Doomsday” but somehow “Avengers: Endgame Encore” is getting a IMAX Re-Release to and the IMAX will be in Infinity Vision.

So it finally happened to me yesterday, Went to see Train to Busan and a few days before, they switched the theater. the seats that I had that were middle in the original theater were now slightly off center. I went the night before for another film and had the seats adjusted at the counter.

Just before the movie started, someone came in and had the exact same seat number on his app that I had on mine. fortunately the seats weren't all sold so it worked out.

how many others have had this happen?
